A method for raising a temperature of a battery module for a vehicle. The method including generating heat in one or more resistors of the battery module by supplying one or more voltages from at least a part of cells of the battery module. The battery module includes the cells coupled in series, and the one or more resistors configured to generate heat after being energized and cause temperature of the cells to be raised. Voltages of the cells are subjected to monitoring and controlling by a cell monitoring unit of the battery module.

Battery-module temperature increase method and cell balancing method using the same

A product purchase system includes a first communication terminal carried by an advertising user, a second communication terminal provided to be movable with a vehicle, and a server. The first communication terminal sends advertisement product information indicating a product worn or held by the advertising user to the server. The second communication terminal sends a product search request including second position information and second time information to the server. The second position information indicates a position of the vehicle when a specific action performed by an occupant in the vehicle is detected while the vehicle is moving. The second time information indicates a clock time when the specific action is detected. The server extracts candidate product information from the advertisement product information, based on the second position information and the second time information. The server then sends the extracted candidate product information to the second communication terminal.

A parking system includes a parking facility, a moving device, charging and discharging equipment, a battery-state detector, and a control processor. The control processor is configured to cause the moving device to move, to a first parking lot with a high temperature, vehicles in the parking facility scheduled to travel, and to move, to a second parking lot with a low temperature, vehicles not scheduled to travel. The control processor is configured to cause or instruct the charging and discharging equipment to perform charging of a drive battery of an unsatisfied vehicle on the basis of a state-of-charge value of drive batteries of the vehicles present in the first parking lot detected by the battery-state detector. The unsatisfied vehicle is a vehicle that is the vehicle in the first parking lot and whose drive battery has a charge state that does not reach a predetermined charge state.

Parking system

A vehicle battery heating apparatus is to be mounted in a vehicle that travels with electricity from a battery. The apparatus includes a battery, a heater, a sensor, a controller, and a memory. The battery is mountable in the vehicle to allow the vehicle to travel. The heater heats the battery. The sensor obtains a temperature of the battery. The controller heats the battery with the heater. The memory stores heating target temperatures for respective remaining capacities of the battery. The controller obtains a remaining capacity of the battery, obtains a target temperature from the memory in accordance with the obtained remaining capacity, and sets a target temperature for heating the battery which is not on charge while the vehicle is stopped to the obtained target temperature. The heater heats the battery to the set target temperature.

Vehicle battery heating apparatus

A clogging determination apparatus determines clogging of a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) such that exhaust pressure is estimated using a sensor deigned for regular control of an engine, without using exhaust pressure sensor. The apparatus includes: the DPF disposed in an exhaust system; an exhaust sensor that measures an air-fuel ratio &#x3bb; in exhaust gas; and an injector that changes the air-fuel ratio in an cylinder through post-injection. A response time T taken for the exhaust sensor to detect a change in the air-fuel ratio is measured from the time when the post-injection is output from the injector. If this response time T is longer than a clogging determination response time To, the apparatus determines that the DPF is clogged.
