A three-component mixing apparatus and a three-component mixing adhesive kit, which allow anyone to easily and uniformly mix three kinds of drugs in mixing a three-component adhesive used in, e.g., surgical procedure (or treatment) or dental procedure (or treatment), includes a syringe filled with a first drug; a plunger; and an infusion-needle connector having a connecting part for a second drug container and a connecting part for a third drug container and a confluent path formed on a base end part. The first drug, the second drug and the third drug are mixed in the syringe by removably attaching the infusion-needle connector to a discharge opening of the syringe, the second drug container to its connecting part and the third drug container to its connecting part and then pulling the plunger inserted into the syringe to introduce the second drug and the third drug into the syringe.

Disclosed is a toner for electrophotography containing at least a binder resin. This toner for electrophotography is characterized in that (a) the tetrahydrofuran (THF) soluble content in the toner has a first peak in the molecular weight region of not less than 2,000 but less than 5,000 and a second peak in the molecular weight region of not less than 100,000 but less than 200,000 in the chromatogram obtained by gel permeation chromatography (GPC); (b) the binder resin contains at least a carboxyl group-containing vinyl resin (C) and a glycidyl group-containing vinyl resin (E); and (c) the mass ratio of the styrene monomer to the acrylic monomer in the binder resin, namely (S/A), is not less than 4.6 but less than 8.5.

Provided is a binder resin for color toners which comprises at least a carboxyl group-containing vinyl resin (C), a glycidyl group-containing vinyl resin (E) and a reaction product thereof, wherein the storage modulus G' at 160 degrees centigrade is not less than 20 and less than 800 Pa measured at a frequency of 6.28 rad/sec, the tetrahydrofuran (THF) soluble portion in the binder resin has a main peak in the molecular weight region of not less than 20,000 and less than 40,000 in the molecular weight distribution measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), and the binder resin contains at least one of releasing agents having a melting point of not lower than 60 and not higher than 120 degrees centigrade in an amount of not less than 3.5 and not more than 12 mass % based on 100 mass % of the total amount of the carboxyl group-containing vinyl resin (C), the glycidyl group-containing vinyl resin (E) and a reaction product thereof.

Binder resin for color toners and color toner using the same

Provided is a binder resin for color toners which comprises at least a carboxyl group-containing vinyl resin (C), a glycidyl group-containing vinyl resin (E) and a reaction product thereof, and contains both a tetrahydrofuran (THF) soluble portion and a THF insoluble gel portion, wherein the THF soluble portion has a main peak in the molecular weight region of not less than 10,000 and less than 15,000 in the chromatogram obtained by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), the content of the THF insoluble gel portion is less than 1 mass %, and the softening point is not more than 130 degrees centigrade.

Disclosed is a binder resin for a toner which contains a styrene-acrylic resin having a gel component and a small amount of a volatile component. Also disclosed are a method for producing the binder resin and a toner employing the binder resin. A binder resin (A) for a toner contains a styrene-acrylic resin having a structure derived from a carboxyl group and a structure derived from a glycidyl group, wherein the content (A) of a gel component is 1 mass %&#x2266;A&#x2266;50 mass % and the content (A) of a volatile component in the resin is A&#x2266;200 ppm.

Binder resin for toner, method for producing the same, and toner for electrophotography using the resin

The present invention was investigated for the purpose of providing a binder resin for toner which is excellent in the low temperature fixing property which can cope with the development of high-speed copier machines, and is excellent in the offset resistance, blocking resistance, pulverizability and development durability. As a result, it was found that the purpose could be achieved by using, as a binder resin for toner, a resin that can be obtained from at least three different vinyl polymers with different molecular weight, contents of functional groups, and preferably from a crosslinking agent having the vinyl polymer structure, and that contains a specific gel component. This resin has excellent melting property at low temperatures, and has suitable performance as a material for toner and a toner in high-speed copier machines.
