Provided is a sensor system capable of more accurately detecting abnormality. A sensor IC includes a first detector, a second detector, and a communication circuit. The first detector and the second detector output a first digital value and a second digital value according to the strength of a magnetic flux applied thereto, respectively. The communication circuit transmits the first and second digital values received from the first and second detectors to a control device. At this time, the communication circuitplaces the first and second digital values in a plurality of frames to transmit the plurality of frames. The communication circuit forms the plurality of frames such that bit information data of the first and second digital values placed in the frames is arranged in different orders between the first and second digital values.

Sensor system

There is provided an actuator control apparatus configured such that even when an electronic device that generates an electric signal to be used to control an actuator is provided in the form of a duplexed system, an increase in the number of communication paths between the electronic device and a controller is suppressed. A torque sensor and a rotation angle sensor are each provided in the form of a duplexed system. Two sets of a torque sensor and a rotation angle sensor are connected to a microcomputer via a SPI communication line. The torque sensors and the rotation angle sensors are connected to the microcomputer via CS communication lines, respectively. By selecting a communication target via a corresponding one of the CS communication lines, the microcomputer is able to receive multiple kinds of electric signals via each one of the SPI communication lines.

Actuator control apparatus

A rotational angle sensor includes: a magnet rotor in which multiple magnetic poles are formed along the circumferential direction of the magnet rotor; and three sensor devices that are arranged on a circle concentric with the magnet rotor at regular angle intervals. Each of the sensor devices includes three half-bridge circuits each of which has a pair of spin valve magnetic resistances that are connected in series in such a manner that the magnetization directions of spin fixed layers of the spin valve magnetic resistances are opposite to each other. Each of the sensor devices is formed in such a manner that phases of the sensor signals output from the respective half-bridge circuits based on a change in magnetic flux caused by the rotation of the magnet rotor are offset from each other by an electrical angle of 120&#xb0;.

A pressure sensor is composed of a pressure housing having a pressure chamber inside and a pressure sensitive element arranged in the pressure chamber, and a joint housing having a fluid passage for leading fluid into the pressure housing, wherein the pressure housing and the joint housing are jointed by brazing with an insulating member interposed at a joint section therebetween. A stress relieving member is interposed at least either between the metal housing and the insulating member or between the joint housing and the insulating member, so that the insulating member can be relieved of a stress which is caused by the braze jointing to act on the insulating member.
