A transfer machine raises and lowers a support portion in a transfer operation between a lower set position that is set below a placement portion of a transfer location subject to the transfer operation, and an upper set position that is set above the placement portion, and a control device changes setting of at least one of the lower set position and the upper set position to set a different raising/lowering range of the support portion that covers a range from the lower set position to the upper set position, between a case where an article is transferred to the transfer location provided in a storage/retrieval section, and a case where the article is transferred to the transfer location provided in accommodation sections.

Article accommodation facility

An inspection system inspects a flow of gas in a container storage facility that includes a placement table and a gas supply device to supply gas to the container. The inspection system includes: an inspection unit placeable on the placement table, and a determiner. The gas supply device includes: a gas supply section located in the placement table to be connectable to the container inflow section of the container; a gas supply pipe; and a supply gas flow rate controller to control a flow rate of the gas supplied to the gas supply section through the gas supply pipe, so as to be equal to a predetermined supply gas flow rate. The inspection unit includes: an inspection inflow section connectable to the gas supply section, and an inflow rate measurer to measure an inflow rate of the gas flowing thereto from the inspection inflow section.

Inspection system

An article storage device is provided for holding a plurality of standardized containers. The standardized containers extend between a bottom surface extending generally horizontally and a top surface spaced from and generally parallel to the bottom surface. The standardized containers further include an opening side perpendicular to the top and bottom surfaces and a door flange extending along the opening side and beyond the top surface. The standardized containers further include a lifting flange attached to the top surface for receiving a lifting tool. The standardized containers are disposed in the storage rack with their respective opening sides facing away from an access space for allowing a retrieval transport apparatus to move in a substantially horizontal plane between the access space to engage the lifting flange without being obstructed by the door flange.

High density stocker

A load storage system is provided for holding standardized containers including a first stocker for being positioned on a first story and a second stocker for being positioned on a second story. The first and second stockers each include at least one load support for supporting the standardized containers. A floor is positioned between the first and second stockers. The floor defines a portal between and directly connecting the first and second stockers. The portal is positioned in alignment with the load supports in the first and second stockers. A vertical transfer device is positioned in alignment with the load supports in the first and second stockers and is configured to move the standardized containers through the portal between the first and second stockers. A method of operating the load storage system is also provided.

Storage system including a vertical transfer device

Article storage facility

An article transport facility includes an article transport device capable of moving along a moving direction in movement sections. The movement sections include a transporting movement section and an out-of-the-way movement section. A work platform includes one or more out-of-trajectory portions located to at least one side along a lateral direction with respect to a mast trajectory, and one or more in-trajectory portions which are located in an area of the mast trajectory that excludes an area in which the mast is located when the article transport device is in the out-of-the-way stop position. Each of the one or more in-trajectory portions is configured to be capable of being moved to a support position located in the mast trajectory, and to an out-of-the-way position in which the in-trajectory portion is out of the mast trajectory along the lateral direction.

Article transport facility

A first cable body allows a first transport apparatus to move in a first movement area by deforming as the first transport apparatus moves along a first direction. A second cable body allows a second transport apparatus to move in a second movement area, which at least partially overlaps the first movement area, by deforming as the second transport apparatus moves along the first direction. Assuming that a direction perpendicular to both the first direction and an up-down direction is a second direction, the first cable body and the second cable body are arranged on the same side in the second direction relative to a rail so that the respective arrangement areas in the second direction overlap each other at least partially.

An article transport facility includes an article transport vehicle, a storage rack configured to store articles, and a for-rack transport device. The article transport vehicle is configured to travel along one or more rails suspended from, and supported by, a ceiling. The storage rack is suspended from, and supported by, the ceiling. The for-rack transport device is located on an opposite side from the one or more rails with respect to the storage rack. With at least one level of the plurality of levels in at least one of the one or more vertical rows of storage locations being each designated as a carrying-in-or-out level in a corresponding vertical row, and with at least one level of the plurality of levels in at least one of the one or more vertical rows that is not a carrying-in-or-out level being each designated as a storage level in a corresponding vertical row, the article transport vehicle is configured to be capable of transferring an article to any storage location at any carrying-in-or-out level in any of the one or more vertical rows, and is configured to be incapable of transferring an article to any storage location at any storage level in any of the one or more vertical rows.

A storage facility includes a storage rack including a plurality of storage sections and a gas supply portion that supplies an inactive gas to containers stored in the storage sections. Struts are installed at left and right ends of the storage rack and between adjacent ones of the storage sections, and placement portions are fixed to mutually adjacent ones of the struts. Each vertical pipe included in the gas supply portion is fixed to one of the struts to which the placement portion to which the inactive gas is supplied by the vertical pipe is fixed.

Storage facility

A storage structure is provided in which an outside surface panel can be attached and removed regardless of where the storage structure is installed. The storage structure has a plurality of columns, an outside surface panel configured to be located between two mutually adjacent columns to form a part of an outer wall, and an outward-side pressing member and an inward-side pressing member each of which can be removably attached to a column. The outside surface panel has a width which is less than a distance between the two mutually adjacent columns. The outward-side pressing member and the inward-side pressing member cooperate with each other to assist in holding the outside surface panel from both sides.

Storage structure

An article transport device includes a transport mechanism which is configured to support, from below, a container being transported and to transport the container along a transporting path, and a housing which forms an accommodating space in which at least a part of the transport mechanism is housed. The housing has one or more support plates, a plurality of brackets, and a housing panel. Each of the one or more support plates is a plate-shaped member extending along the transporting path and is configured to support the transport mechanism from below. A lower end portion of each of the plurality of brackets is attached to a corresponding one of the one or more support plates such that the plurality of the brackets are spaced apart from one another along a direction along the transporting path, outside the accommodating space along the lateral width direction. When the housing panel is not attached to the at least one of the plurality of brackets, the housing is provided with a communicating opening for allowing communication between a space inside and a space outside the accommodating space. The vertical dimension of the communicating opening is set to be a dimension that corresponds to a vertical dimension of the at least one of the plurality of brackets.

Article transport device and article transport facility including same

A storage rack including a plurality of storage sections further includes a plurality of columns with one column provided at each end along the right and left direction and a column provided at a position between two mutually adjacent storage sections, a transverse beam member extending along the right and left direction, and a support portion for supporting a stored object. Each column includes a pair of divided column members which are spaced apart from each other. The transverse beam member fixed at a location between a pair of divided column members. The support portion is supported by two mutually adjacent columns in a cantilever manner such that the support portion is in contact with the transverse beam member.

Storage rack

A cleaning apparatus for a ceiling transport vehicle is provided which can be advantageously installed in a clean room. A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a ceiling transport vehicle includes an air blower for blowing air to the ceiling transport vehicle when the ceiling transport vehicle, which can travel along a travel rail provided on a ceiling side in a clean room, is stationary in a closed off space which is closed off from exterior space.

Cleaning apparatus

An article storage facility includes a measuring jig for measuring an amount of tilt of a support body. A controller for controlling operation of an article transport device performs a tilt measurement control for controlling operation of the article transport device to transport the measuring jig sequentially to each of a plurality of measurement target storage sections which is all or part of the plurality of storage sections.
