The present invention provides a method of measuring a vitamin D. Specifically, the present invention provides a method of measuring a vitamin D, comprising: (1) treating a sample with a surfactant having a steroid skeleton; and (2) detecting the vitamin D in the treated sample. The present invention also provides a kit for measuring a vitamin D, comprising: (1) a surfactant having a steroid skeleton; and (2) an affinity substance for a vitamin D and/or a vitamin D standard. Examples of the surfactant having the steroid skeleton may include a bile acid or a derivative thereof or a salt thereof.

The present invention provides a means and a method for specifically measuring a substance such as a small substance with high sensitivity by a sandwich method. Specifically, the present invention provides an antibody capable of specifically binding to an affinity complex and a method of measuring of the affinity complex comprising measuring the affinity complex using the antibody capable of specifically binding to the affinity complex. The antibody of the present invention may be a full-length antibody. The antibody of the present invention may also have a region derived from an immunoglobulin from an animal having an ability of gene conversion (e.g., a complementarity-determining region, a framework region, or a variable region). Examples of at least one factor that constitutes the affinity complex include a small substance or a protein (e.g., antibody).

The present invention enables to realize a convenient determination of a therapeutic effect of an anticancer agent on a cancer. Specifically, the present invention provides a diagnostic marker for an effect of an anticancer agent on a cancer, comprising a substance having an affinity for a fragment of an extracellular domain of c-MET; a diagnostic reagent for an effect of an anticancer agent on a cancer, comprising a substance having an affinity for a fragment of an extracellular domain of c-MET and the fragment of the extracellular domain of c-MET; and a method of testing an effect of an anticancer agent on a cancer, comprising (a) measuring a concentration of a fragment of an extracellular domain of c-MET in a biological sample from a subject, and (b) comparing the measured concentration of the fragment of the extracellular domain of c-MET with an indicator which presents a relationship between a concentration of the fragment of the extracellular domain of c-MET and the effect of the anticancer agent on the cancer.

Specifically, the present invention provides a method for establishing an artificial cell, comprising treating a cancer cell with an expression vector for a foreign oncogene and then culturing the cancer cell treated with the expression vector under a condition which inhibits an expression or function of an oncogene that is inherent to the cancer cell, and an established artificial cell; a method of screening an anti-cancer drug, comprising evaluating whether or not a test substance inhibits a proliferation of the artificial cell; as well as a method for identifying an oncogene, comprising treating a cancer cell with an expression vector for a test gene and then culturing the cancer cell treated with the expression vector under a condition which inhibits an expression or function of an oncogene that is inherent to the cancer cell.
