An optical layered product has a translucent substrate having at least an optically functional layer, containing translucent microparticles, provided directly or via another layer onto one or both sides of the substrate. The standard deviation of area dispersion variability of the translucent microparticles in the optically functional layer is in the range of 0.04 to 0.20.

Optical layered product

The present invention provides a Fresnel lens sheet capable of successfully avoiding the 'collapse', 'abrasion' and &#x201c;moir&#xe9;&#x201d; problems. A Fresnel lens sheet constitutes, together with a lenticular lens sheet, a rear projection screen, which is mounted in the frame of a rear projection type display. The Fresnel lens sheet includes, on one surface of its substrate, a Fresnel lens part containing a plurality of lenses concentrically formed on one plane. The apexes of the lenses situated in the area between the center and the outer edge of the Fresnel lens part are flattened to give flat faces, and the widths of the flat faces of the lenses on the outer edge side are made greater than the widths of the flat faces of the lenses on the center side. The widths of the flat faces of the lenses are from 0 to 30 &#x3bc;m.

Anti-glare film

An anti-reflection material and a polarization film which exhibit superior anti-reflection properties by preventing external light such as sunlight, fluorescent light, etc., from being reflected on a display, which yield a clear image without sparkling and reduces image contrast, and which exhibit superior wear resistance, chemical resistance, and contamination resistance, as well as exhibit optical stability. A hard coat layer is provided on one surface or two surfaces of a transparent substrate directly or via another layer, and an anti-reflection film having a lower refraction index than the hard coat layer is further provide on the hard coat layer. The hard coat layer consists of at least {circle around (1)} a polymer polymerizing (metha)acrylate compound having a fluorene structure; {circle around (2)} a polymer polymerizing urethane (metha)acrylate compound and ultrafine particles having a high refraction index; and {circle around (3)} radiation and/or thermosetting resin and surface-treated titanium oxide ultrafine particles.

Antireflection material and polarizing film using the same

The present invention provides an anti-reflection material, and a polarization film employing the anti-reflection material, having superior anti-glare properties, anti-reflection properties, and anti-static properties. In the anti-reflection material, an anti-glare layer is provided on the surface of a transparent substrate directly or via another layer, a low reflection layer having lower reflective index than that of the anti-glare layer is provided on the surface of the anti-glare layer, and the frontmost surface of the anti-reflection material is subjected to a surface hydrophilizing treatment.

Anti-reflection material, polarization film, and production methods therefor

The present invention provides an anti-reflection material and a polarizing film which can exhibit excellent anti-reflection properties and can obtain a visible image without glittering and without reducing an image contrast while exhibiting an excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance, as well as, exhibiting an excellent stain resistance. A surface-roughened layer (,) is provided on one surface or double surfaces of a transparent substrate (,) directly or via another layer, and the surface-roughened layer (,) comprises an ultraviolet-curing resin comprising at least an epoxy compound and a photo-cationic polymerization initiator.

Anti-reflection material and method for producing the same

The invention provides an antiglare material which exhibits excellent antiglare property by preventing shining of external light in a display and is suitable for display of vivid and high-definition images free of any glare, and a polarizing film using the same. The antiglare material includes a transparent substrate provided with a roughened surface layer on one or both sides thereof. The roughened surface layer is formed from an ultraviolet curing resin containing at least an epoxy compound and a photo-cationic polymerization initiator, and beads of a crosslinked acrylic resin. The polarizing film is constructed by laminating a first protective material, which is provided with a roughened surface layer formed from an ultraviolet curing resin containing at least an epoxy compound and a photo-cationic polymerization initiator, and beads of a crosslinked acrylic resin on one side thereof, on one side of a polarizing substrate, and laminating a second protective material on the other side of the polarizing substrate. The crosslinked acrylic resin beads include at least 60 wt. % of particles having a particle size ranging from 0.5 to 6.0 .mu.m and less than 20 wt. % of particles having a particle size greater than 6.0 .mu.m. The HAZE values of the transparent substrate and first protective material fall within a range of 3-30.
