There is provided a drive power transmitting mechanism that can transmit drive power losslessly and can be used in environments where silence is required. The drive power transmitting mechanism includes a rotor having a first outer circumferential surface and rotatable about a first rotational axis, a rotor having a second outer circumferential surface pressed against the first outer circumferential surface and rotatable about a second rotational axis due to a frictional force produced between the second outer circumferential surface and the first outer circumferential surface, a gear rotatable in unison with the rotor about the first rotational axis, and a gear rotatable in unison with the rotor about the second rotational axis, in which the gear and the gear are brought into mesh with each other when the second outer circumferential surface slips against the first outer circumferential surface.

Fluorescent probe

Fluorescent probe for the quantitation of zinc

A luminescent lanthanide complex using a photo induced electron transfer as the luminescence controlling principle is presented. The complex comprises a substituted 2-quinolinol containing a sensor group and a complex group and lanthanide ion (Ln). This complex is allowed to be co-present in a liquid phase with a material to be measured, and the luminescence of said complex is measured.

Diaminorhodamine derivative

A cable connector has a shroud including an elongated recess and provided with an internal grounded shield which extends within and substantially along the entire length of the elongated recess. The cable connector further has a cable receptacle including an elongated housing for cable conductors and a housing shield surrounding the housing. The housing and shroud shield are juxtaposed with one another along the entire length of the recessed inner surface of the shroud to form a double shield cover protecting the cable connectors within the shroud when of the cable receptacle is attached to the shroud. The shroud shield may be formed as separate plates located on each inner shroud wall and may include springs for engaging a metal panel. The shroud bottom wall may include compressible tubular parts which form openings in the shield bottom wall to secure contacts.

A connector contact has a main body portion, a pair of elastic pieces extending like beams on the same side from two sides of the main body portion, and contact portions respectively formed at distal ends of the elastic pieces, to come into contact with a male contact inserted between the contact portions. The pair of elastic pieces have, at their distal ends, protrusions at which the contact portions are to be arranged and each of which projects in a lateral direction opposite to the other elastic piece. The pair of elastic pieces are deformed by twisting or bending, so that the contact portions oppose each other.

Connector contact and method of manufacturing the same

The object of the present invention is to provide a general purpose connector with which development costs can be reduced and inventory can be easily controlled even when a plurality of terminal arrangements are required. In order to achieve this object, a general purpose connector according to the present invention includes: a connector housing-having a base including a terminal mounting portion; at least a pair of walls formed on the base; and a plurality of partitions being inserted into the connector housing, thereby forming a receiving space with the connector housing for receiving a mating connector, the receiving space being suitable for the terminal arrangement of the mating connector, wherein mis-insertion prevention groups are formed on the partitions to prevent either incorrect insertion as a result of receiving the wrong mating connector having the same terminal arrangement or reversed insertion as a result of receiving a corresponding mating connector in a reversed orientation.

General purpose connector and connecting method therefor

A connector contact includes a pair of contact arms, a contact support, and an external connecting terminal. The pair of contact arms are made of strips having a predetermined thickness and opposing end faces. The contact arms have flat contact surfaces, on inner sides of their distal end portions, which are formed by crushing the strips toward their end faces. The contact support supports the contact arms. The external connecting terminal projects from the contact support. A method of manufacturing a connector contact is also disclosed.

A locking and unlocking mechanism of a cable connector, consisting of a connector and a housing, and a method for locking and unlocking the cable connector capable of providing a reliable connection of a cable even when a cable connecting operation is carried out by holding the cable. The connector is unlocked from the housing by sliding the lock release mechanism from the set position to the release position when the connector is fitted in the housing. At the time of connecting the cable, when the cable holding member is inserted into the housing while holding the cable, the elastic beam portion of the housing is pushed to open by the protrusion of the lock release member, and the engaging hole formed in the elastic beam portion is engaged with the engaging pawl of the cable holding member, and the connector is installed into the housing by moving the lock release member to the set position by the elastic energy of the lock release member from the elastic deformation caused by being pushed by the cable holding member.

Locking and unlocking mechanism of cable connector and method for locking and unlocking

A connector is composed of a plurality of contacts, a housing and a locator. The plurality of contacts are formed to have nearly L-shaped forms. One end of each of the plurality of contacts is inserted along a contact inserting direction and is fixed in the housing such that the other end of the contact is held along a direction orthogonal to the contact inserting direction. The locator has a plurality of slits in which the other ends of the plurality of contacts are inserted. Also, the locator has a plurality of through-holes consecutive to the plurality of slits such that the other ends of the plurality of contacts penetrate the plurality of through-holes. The locator is mounted on a surface of the housing on which the plurality of contacts are fixed, from a direction orthogonal to the contact inserting direction.
