An image display device includes a display element, an optical member for imaging, a circuit board, an optical case configured to accommodate the display element and the optical member, a metallic frame configured to support the circuit board from below, and an exterior case configured to accommodate the optical case and the metallic frame, wherein the metallic frame is disposed above the optical case, and the exterior case includes an upper case and a lower case, and includes a first seal member at a first facing portion between the upper case and the lower case.

Image display device

A display element including a light emitting portion of imaging light, an optical system configured to emit imaging light from the display element, a resin-made cover member configured to cover the optical system, and a heat dissipation material attached from the cover member to the display element and configured to conduct heat of the display element to the cover member are included.

A wearable image display device includes a display unit that displays an image and a wearing unit attached to the display unit. The display unit includes a first positioning portion and a first rotation mechanism that rotates relative to the wearing unit in a rotational direction with a first direction serving as a rotation axis. The wearing unit includes a second positioning portion brought into contact with the first positioning portion and a first fitting mechanism fitted to the first rotation mechanism. The first positioning portion and the second positioning portion are brought into contact with each other either at a first position or at a second position different from the first position in the rotational direction.

Wearable image display device

A head-mounted display apparatus includes a support member that supports a first display unit and a second display unit that display images, an extension member extending in a second direction intersecting a first direction along a direction from the first display unit to the second display unit, and a coupling member coupling the support member to the extension member, in which the support member has a first coupled portion coupled to the extension member, the extension member has a second coupled portion coupled to the support member, and a thickness (width) of the first coupled portion is thicker (wider) than a thickness (width) of the second coupled portion in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction.

Head-mounted display apparatus

Head mounted display having left and right frames with coupling mechanisms

A display unit including an optical system configured to emit imaging light toward a pupil position, and a frame configured to support the optical system, an exterior member configured to accommodate the optical system of the display unit in an internal space and partially exposes the frame, and a sheet-shaped sealing member having flexibility configured to seal the internal space of the exterior member are included, wherein the sealing member includes an outer first sealing portion configured to perform sealing between the sealing member and the exterior member, and an inner second sealing portion configured to perform sealing between the sealing member and the frame.

A right temple member and a left temple member are provided, close to a display unit, at inner side faces of a right case member and a left case member that store at least a part of the display unit. A right support member and a left support member are provided at the right temple member and the left temple member. Accordingly, the provision of the right support member and the left support member enables to adjust a degree of opening and an inward repulsive force of the right temple member and the left temple member.

The present disclosure includes a first optical member (light-guiding member) and a second optical member (light-guiding member) that are included in a first display device and a second display device configured to display images corresponding to left and right eyes and are configured to guide the images, a central member serving as a coupling member configured to couple these light-guiding members, and a protruding portion provided on the central member and extending in a lateral direction (&#xb1;X direction) in which these light-guiding members are aligned.

Optical device, wearable display device, and light-guiding unit

A head-mounted display includes a frame having conductivity, a first display device and a second display device supported by the frame, a cable shielded by a conductive cloth, and a screwing structure configured to interpose the cable between the frame and the first and second display devices. The screwing structure holds a conducting region of the frame and the conductive cloth in a state where the conducting region of the frame and the conductive cloth are electrically coupled.

A wearable display device includes a display element, a circuit board, an outer case including a first case member and a second case member, the first case member being configured to dissipate heat generated by the circuit board to outside, the second case member being disposed farther to a wearer side than the first case member is and configured to dissipate heat generated by the display element to the outside, and a heat insulating structure disposed in a region where the first case member and the second case member face each other.

Wearable display device

A wearable display device includes an optical device configured to form a virtual image, and a support device configured to support the optical device. The support device includes a first side support including a first temple, a second side support including a second temple, and a front frame extending between tip portions of the first side support and the second side support. The support device includes a flexible member between the tip portion of the first side support and a first end of the front frame and between the tip portion of the second side support and a second end of the front frame. The flexible members cause an interval between the tip portion of the first side support and the tip portion of the second side support to be changeable.

A wearable display device includes a display element, a first circuit board, a second circuit board, and an outer packaging case housing the display element, the first circuit board, and the second circuit board, wherein the second circuit board has a larger calorific value than the first circuit board, and is disposed at a further outer side, which is an opposite to a wearer than the first circuit board, in the outer packaging case.

A wearable display device includes a display element, an outer packaging case configured to house the display element, and a heat dissipation sheet configured to conduct heat from the display element to the outer packaging case, and the heat dissipation sheet extends outward through an opening provided in the outer packaging case, and is stuck at a side surface of the outer packaging case.

Provided is a head-mounted display apparatus including a frame extending in a first direction, a display unit configured to emit image light in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a casing attached to one end, in the first direction, of the frame and housing a part of the display unit, and a temple portion arranged on a center side of the head-mounted display device, in the first direction, with respect to the casing. The casing includes a side surface positioned on a side on which the temple portion is arranged, and a first recessed portion, in the side surface, opening in the second direction to form a first gap with the temple portion that is arranged along the side surface.

The present disclosure includes a display element configured to emit imaging light, a main circuit board and the like being a circuit board configured to process a video signal, a board holder being a circuit board holder configured to fix the main circuit board and the like, and a harness coupled to the main circuit board, and the board holder fixes an end portion of the main circuit board in a state where the end portion protrudes to an optical path upstream of the display element. As a result, a space for avoiding interference is provided on the optical path upstream of the display element, namely, on a back surface side of the display element, while suppressing an increase in size of the device toward a lateral side and the like.
