The present invention has an object to provide a seat for vehicles in which walk-in operation can be cancelled by simple operation. A seat for vehicles includes: a mechanism to shift a seat cushion () from a seating position to an escape position by operation of an operation part (); and a walk-in cancel mechanism () for cancelling walk-in operation which restrains a seat back () from rotating to a fully tilted-down position of the seat back () when the seat cushion () is shifted from the seating position to the escape position and the seat back () is rotated to a middle tilted position, and also switches a slide rail device in a locked state to an unlocked state, in which the walk-in cancel mechanism () is automatically operated in conjunction with operation of the operation part ().

Seat for vehicles

The present invention has an object to provide a seat for vehicles in which a seat cushion flip-up mechanism can be space-saving. In a seat for vehicles which has a flip-up mechanism to shift a seat cushion frame () disposed on a base part () from a normal seating posture (-) to a flipped-up posture (-), the flip-up mechanism includes: a support leg part () having one end connected to the seat cushion frame () rotatably around a first rotation shaft () and the other end connected to the base part () rotatably around a second rotation shaft (); a guide part () to be engaged with the one end of the support leg part () to guide the one end so as to lift the one end; and a coil spring () applying a biasing force so as to have the one end guided by the guide part () and flip up a portion () connected with the seat cushion frame ().

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a headrest to be infallibly locked when returned from a forward tilted position to a using position, without requiring high part accuracy and assembly accuracy. A vehicle seat headrest () according to the present invention, having: a stay () held on the seat back side; and a headrest main body (A) supported forward rotatably from a using position with respect to the stay (), includes: a locking mechanism () that fixes a rotation position of the headrest main body (A) with respect to the stay () in the using position; and a stopper mechanism () that is not engaged with a regulation part in the using position, but is engaged with the regulation part when the headrest main body (A) is tilted backward from the using position, to regulate backward tilting of the headrest main body (A).

Vehicle seat headrest

The object of the present invention is to provide a headrest capable of, when a user touches the headrest, preventing the user's finger from being inserted into the inner space of the headrest. The vehicle seat headrest according to the present invention includes: a stay () held on the seat back side; and a headrest main body (A) supported forward rotatably from a using position with respect to the stay (). The headrest main body (A) has: a main body frame () forming a strength member; hinge parts (), () which connect the main body frame () rotatably with respect to the stay (); a locking mechanism () which fixes the main body frame () in the using position with respect to the stay (); and cushion material () which covers the main body frame () and the hinge parts (), (). In the vehicle seat headrest, a resin lower cover (), having an opening () through which the stay () is inserted, covers a lower surface of the headrest main body (A).

To provide a seat for vehicles in which a seat cushion escape mechanism can be space-saving, the seat having an escape mechanism to shift a seat cushion frame disposed on a base part from a seating posture to an escape posture with the frame placed forward of the base part includes: a support leg part having one end rotatably connected to the frame and the other end rotatably connected to the base part; a guide part to be engaged with the one end of the support leg part to guide the one end so as to lift the one end; a coil spring biasing the support leg part so as to have the one end guided by the guide part and flip up a portion connected with the frame; and a second coil spring which is provided at the other end and applies a biasing force so as to rotate the one end of the support leg part forward with the other end as a center.

A vehicle seat with a child seat may have an engagement member, comprising anchors to hold the child seat. Each anchor may have a pair of left and right side bars and a front bar coupled to the side bars. The front bars are engaged with the engagement member. The side bars are secured by brackets to a connecting pipe of the seat cushion or the seatback. Each recess may be made in a pad. A trim cover may have openings each above the recess. The engagement member may have a bifurcated shape and has a groove engaged with the front bar. The connecting members, having one end connected to a trim cover terminal behind the opening and the other end engaged with the bracket, may be wound around the connecting pipe and stretched between the bracket and the trim cover terminal, each drawing the terminal into the recess.

Vehicle seat

A seating apparatus for a vehicle, in which a seat cushion supported on the vehicle body by a link member can be flipped up toward the front of the vehicle from a use position and which includes a locking mechanism that operates only when the seat cushion is acted upon by an inertial force greater than a predetermined force in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, to temporarily prevent the seat cushion from flipping up. The locking mechanism includes a locking plate supported on the seat cushion and rockable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between a normal position and a rocked position, and a spring for urging the locking plate toward the normal position. The locking plate locks the seat cushion to the link member when it is moved inertially to the rocked position against the force of the spring, to prevent the seat cushion from flipping up, and the locking plate unlocks the seat cushion when it is located in the normal position.

Seating apparatus for vehicle

A part of the planar member, which is defined by the slits and extends over the center groove made in a seat pad, serves as a bridge part. As the sewn part of a trim cover is pulled into the groove, the bridge part is pressed onto the sewn part of the trim cover and pulled into the groove, together with the sewn part, and is bend in the form like letter U and held in the groove. The groove defines a through hole penetrating the seat pad at the bridge part of the planar member. The bridge part is not pressed onto the bottom of the groove even if the seat pad undergoes compressive deformation and is pressed down in the groove, because the groove has no bottom at some parts.

In a frame assembly of an automotive seat, two lateral frame members of a seat back frame are respectively rotatably connected to two base frames via a reclining device, and a securing frame is connected between the two lateral frame members of seat back frame. Two hinge brackets are respectively disposed inwardly of and pivoted to two back end portions of a seat cushion frame. The two hinge brackets are then securely connected with the securing frame, whereupon the two back end portions of seat cushion frame are rotatably connected with the seat back frame via the two hinge brackets and securing frame.

Frame assembly of automotive seat

A forward and backward inclination adjustment device for a headrest provided with a headrest body frame section and a generally inverted-U-shaped frame having a horizontal columnar frame section and a pair of headrest stay portions. In the forward and backward inclination adjustment device, a leaf spring element of generally &ldquo;U&rdquo; shape is fixed to the headrest body frame, while embarcingly holding the horizontal columnar frame section, and a plurality of discrete flat surfaces are formed in the circumferential surface of the horizontal columnar frame section. Thus, each time a user inclines the headrest body frame section forwardly and backwardly relative to the headrest stay portions, the leaf spring element is contacted with one of the discrete flat surfaces, thereby imparting a clicking stepwise touch to a hand of the user.
