A skin locking clip that is firmly supported by a pad is provided. The skin locking clip () is disposed in a groove () of a pad () of a vehicle seat or the like, and fixes a locked portion () attached to a skin material. The skin locking clip () includes a base plate (), a locking piece () erected on the base plate () to lock the locked portion (), and an overhanging piece () erected on the base plate. Since the overhanging piece () is supported by the pad (), the skin locking clip () is firmly supported by the pad ().

Skin locking clip

A vehicle seat includes a pad having an air passage, a skin material, and a skin locking clip embedded in the pad and configured to tuck in a prescribed linear portion of the skin material. The pad includes a main body member in which the skin locking clip is embedded, an intermediate layer member arranged on the main body member, and a surface layer member arranged on the intermediate layer member. The main body member includes a linear bulging portion extending along the linear portion and bulging so as to define a plane substantially identical to a surface of the surface layer member, and the skin material is tucked in by the skin locking clip at a portion extending further from the surface layer member than the linear bulging portion.

Seat and assembling method therefor

A conveyance seat includes a large-capacity pocket formed on the rear surface of a seat back of the seat. The pocket has: a pocket forming sheet overlapping an outer surface of a back side skin material positioned on the rear surface of the seat back; and a pocket sewn portion. The pocket sewn portion has: right and left first sewn portions and right and left second sewn portions formed at positions sandwiching an opening portion in a seat width direction to form the opening portion of the pocket in an upper end portion of the pocket forming sheet; right and left third sewn portions forming right and left outer edge portions of the pocket; and a fourth sewn portion forming a lower edge portion of the pocket. The right and left second sewn portions are disposed inside the right and left third sewn portions in the seat width direction.

Vehicle seat and assembling method therefor

A stowable vehicle seat with improved operability is configured so that a stowing and restoring operation can be performed by rotating seat support parts and provided on the rear end part of a seat cushion in the front and rear direction around the rotating center. The seat support part is provided with a rotating shaft provided on the seat cushion side, a rotating shaft bracket pivotally supporting the rotating shaft on the vehicle body floor side, and spiral springs one end part side of which is always locked to the rotating shaft side and which urges in the restoration rotating direction. The other end part side of the spiral springs is locked to the vehicle body floor side at different predetermined angles of the seat cushion.

Stowable vehicle seat

A folding vehicle seat is adapted to be stored on a first portion of a vehicle body floor and retained on the first portion by a retaining belt arrangement which includes a belt attached at its lower end to a vertical wall extending upward from the floor and a hook attached to an upper end of the belt. The upper end is inserted through a ring attached to the wall. The seat includes a seat cushion pivotally supported on a second portion of the floor and a seat back pivotally supported by the cushion, the cushion and back being adapted to be put together as a single body which is adapted to be pivoted from the second portion toward the first portion and has an engagement mechanism with which the hook is adapted to be engaged at the time when the body is stored on the first portion.
