An imaging apparatus includes: an imager configured to capture a subject image to generate image data; a controller that records an image file based on the image data on the recording medium; and an operation interface that inputs a user operation for selecting a file system from first and second file systems different from each other, the file system managing the image file in the recording medium, wherein in accordance with the user operation input in the operation interface, the controller switches a folder for storing the image file between a first folder corresponding to the first file system and a second folder corresponding to the second file system in the recording medium.

An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image to generate image data; a recorder that records the image data into a recording medium; a controller that controls a moving image shooting operation in which the image data indicating a moving image based on a result of imaging by the image sensor is recorded into the recording medium by the recorder; and a display interface that enables to display a measured value of at least one parameter sequentially for each measurement time, the parameter indicating a factor that hinders the moving image shooting operation.

An imaging apparatus, for capturing a subject image and recording image data on a recording medium, includes: a recording medium connector configured to attach the recording medium detachably; a communication host connected to the recording medium connector via a first communication bus, configured to access the recording medium via the first communication bus to write data to the recording medium or read data from the recording medium; and a processor configured to control power supply, wherein in a case where a period in which the communication host does not access the recording medium is equal to or longer than a predetermined period, the processor stops power supply to the recording medium and the recording medium connector, and stops power supply to the communication host.

An imaging apparatus includes: an imager that captures a subject image to generate image-capturing data; a memory that temporarily stores the image-capturing data; an image processor that performs image processing on the image-capturing data to generate image data; an interface detachably connected to an external non-volatile recording medium; and a controller that records the image data in the recording medium. The controller saves the image-capturing data from the memory by writing, in the recording medium, the image-capturing data as an incomplete file being a file format defined to manage, in the recording medium, the image-capturing data as a saving state where the image processing is not completed on the image-capturing data. The controller reads the saved image-capturing data from the recording medium into the memory, causes the image processor to perform the image processing, and records obtained image data by the image processing into the recording medium.

Imaging apparatus with image-capturing data and management information thereof saved as an incomplete file

The present disclosure provides an imaging apparatus that shoots a video. The imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit that generates image data based on optical information input through an optical system; an image processor that generates video data based on the image data; and a controller that, when a shooting period in which a video is shot has a first shooting period from a start of first recording till an end of the first recording and a second shooting period from a start of second recording till an end of the second recording, generates a single file using, out of the video data, first video data corresponding to the video shot during the first shooting period and second video data corresponding to the video shot during the second shooting period.

Imaging apparatus for generating a single file of two shooting periods

A cascode circuit () is provided with a switching element (Q) which is normally off by default, a switching element (Q) and a clamp circuit (). A source of the switching element (Q) is connected to a drain of the switching element (Q). The cascode circuit () engages in a normally-off operation through a gate driving circuit () connected to a gate of the switching element (Q). The clamp circuit () is provided between a power source terminal (P) of the gate driving circuit () and the drain of the switching element (Q). A power source (E) is connected to the power source terminal (P). When the gate driving circuit () operates to turn off the switching element (Q) and the switching element (Q), the clamp circuit () clamps a voltage between the drain and the source of the switching element (Q) to a power source voltage (V) supplied from the power source (E).

Cascode circuit

A multilevel inverter includes an inverter arm. The inverter arm is provided between a highest electric potential point and a lowest electric potential point, and includes (i) a second switching element group to which switching elements that are connected in series belong, the switching elements being connected to respective diodes which are connected in an opposite polarity and in parallel and (ii) a diode for each power supply connection point. One of connection points at which the switching elements belonging to the second switching element group are connected to each other and a U phase output terminal are connected, the one connection point being located such that at least one of the switching elements provided between the one connection point and the highest electric potential point is equal in number to the other switching elements which belong to the second switching element group and are provided between the one connection point and the lowest electric potential point.
