To optimize an arrangement route for a tube arranged between an ink tank and a carriage, when arranging the ink tank outside an ink jet printer main body. A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting apparatus main bodyejecting a liquid onto a recording medium from a liquid ejecting head mounted on a carriage; a liquid containing bodyarranged inside the liquid ejecting apparatus main body; and a liquid supply tubearranged between the liquid containing bodyand the carriage, in which an inner space S is provided which is formed from the liquid ejecting head and a discharge port including a region where the recording medium is discharged, and the liquid containing bodyis arranged in the inner space S.

Liquid ejecting apparatus

Provided is a recording apparatus allowing for a reduction in size of an ink jet recording apparatus. An ink jet recording apparatus includes a head unit that has a recording head which ejects ink and a relay adapter which relays an ink accommodating portion where ink is accommodated with the recording head, and is movable in a scanning direction of the recording head, and an ink tube that is connected to the relay adapter, guides ink which is sent from the ink accommodating portion to the relay adapter, and has flexibility, in which a height difference is formed in an upper portion of an adapter accommodating portion, where the relay adapter is accommodated, of the head unit, and the ink tube extends outside the head unit by using a space between a high position and a low position of the adapter accommodating portion.

Ink jet recording apparatus

The liquid ejecting apparatus further includes a paper discharge frame that is arranged along a scanning direction of the liquid ejecting head on a further forward side than the liquid ejecting head. A part of the liquid supply tubesis fixed to a frame member paper discharge frame.

An ink jet recording apparatus includes a head unit, a discharge port including a region where a recording medium on which a recording is performed by the recording head is discharged and an ink tube having flexibility, that is connected to the head unit and leads the ink from an ink containing unit. The ink tube protrudes to the outside of the apparatus from discharge port side of the front surface.
