A rustproofed metal member of a metal member having a predetermined shape, a zinc composite film formed on a surface of the metal member, and a coating film formed by applying and drying a coating paint on the zinc composite film. The coating paint includes a coating base containing an organic solvent and a resin material dissolved in the organic solvent, and an extender pigment and an antirust pigment dispersed and retained in the coating base. The antirust pigment includes aluminum flakes having been subjected to no leafing process.

Rustproofed metal member and coating paint

The present invention relates to a rust-preventive metallic component part in which a steel wire to which wire-drawing processing is performed is adapted into a substrate and which comprises a rust-preventive coating film being free from chromium on a surface of the substrate, and to a manufacturing method for the same; and its object is to provide a rust-preventive metallic component part whose rust-preventive coating film exhibits such good adhesiveness to substrate that it is not come off by elastic deformations in service, by sliding contacts at the time of transportation, and the like, and to provide a manufacturing method for the same. A rust-preventive metallic component part according to the present invention is characterized in that: it comprises a first coating film, which is formed on a surface of a substrate and which comprises an inorganic-compound-containing coating film being free from chromium; and a residual proportion of zinc phosphate coating film or manganese phosphate coating film, which has been formed on the surface of the substrate at the time of wire-drawing processing, is less than 25% of a surface area of the substrate. Consequently, the first coating film is coated after removing the zinc phosphate coating film or manganese phosphate coating film, which covers the surface of the substrate, with a strongly-alkaline degreasing liquid.

Rust-preventive metallic component part

A metallic member, which is subjected to rust-preventive treatment, includes a metallic substrate, a zinc composite coating film, and a coating layer. The metallic substrate is formed as a predetermined configuration. The zinc composite coating film is disposed on the metallic substrate. The coating layer is made by coating and drying a coating composition on the zinc composite coating film. The coating composition includes a coating vehicle, a body pigment, and a rust-preventive pigment. The coating vehicle includes an organic solvent, and a resinous material being dissolved in the organic solvent. The body pigment is dispersed in the coating vehicle. The rust-preventive pigment is dispersed in the coating vehicle.

An electroconductive resin composition which exhibits excellent moldability and electric conductivity, and is produced at low costs. The electroconductive resin composition contains a zinc-based metal powder, low melting metal which melts upon molding, and thermoplastic resin. The zinc-based metal powder having a large surface area captures the molten low melting metal to prevent the phase separation thereof from both the resin and zinc-based metal powder. The zinc-based metal powder has a round configuration, as compared to that of fiber so as not to damage the fluidity of the resin greatly. Thus, the resultant electroconductive resin composition is excellent in moldability, and can be produced at low costs.

Electroconductive resin composition

A corrosion preventive material contains zinc and is applied to the surface of a metal product for preventing corrosion of the product. The material consists essentially of a base material of synthetic resin and 65% or more zinc powder by weight dispersed in the base material, the zinc powder containing 25% or more zinc powder by weight having a grain diameter of or above 150 .mu.m. Alternatively, the corrosion preventive material consists essentially of a base material of synthetic resin and 45% or more zinc powder by weight dispersed in the base material, the zinc powder containing 90% or more zinc powder by weight having a grain diameter of or above 150 .mu.m. A method of corrosion prevention includes the steps of bonding a first metal product to a second metal product with an adhesive corrosion preventive material consisting essentially of a mixture of metal powder for sacrificial corrosion prevention which is baser in a galvanic series than the first metal product and an adhesive resin, and applying an electrodeposition coating to surfaces of the first metal product and the adhesive corrosion preventive material subsequently to the bonding step.
