To present a liquid detergent of a high cleaning power and an excellent storage stability while maintaining the ease of use. A liquid detergent composition comprising, at a specific ratio individually, (a) water, (b) a builder composed of a water-soluble inorganic salt of which solubility in distilled water is 0.5 g/15 g (25&#xb0; C., distilled water) or more, and (c) a substance liquid at 25&#xb0; C. containing at least one selected from the group consisting of surfactant (c1) and water-miscible organic solvent (c2) in which part of (b) is present in solid state in the composition, and its electric conductivity measured by a specific method is within a specified range.

Liquid detergent composition

The present invention provides a laundry detergent sheet with significant improvements in solubility. That is, the invention provides a sheet of laundry detergent comprising a layer containing a detergent composition and a water-soluble substrate provided on both sides of the layer, wherein said layer comprises a water-soluble or disintegrating-in-water particle group, having an average particle diameter of 60 to 2000 &mgr;m, consisting of a particle group. The water-soluble or disintegrating-in-water particle group means less than 0.025 g of residue on a screen after 0.5 g of the particle group is introduced into 1 L water at 10&deg; C., stirred at a revolution rate of 800 rpm for 10 minutes, and sifted through a screen of 200 mesh size.

Article for use in washing in sheet form

An economical sheetlike article for laundry whose flexibility is excellent, of which sprinkling and loss of the content are small and wherein a water-soluble substrate having a low basis weight is used. Thus, the present invention provides a sheetlike article for laundry in which a layer containing at least one composition selected from the group consisting of a detergent composition, a fiber softener composition and a bleaching agent composition, is connected with a water-soluble substrate on the both sides of the said layer, and of which the flexibility parameter calculated by a specific method is from 3 to 6.

The present invention provides a liquid detergent being excellent in detergency for persistent sebum smears such as smears in or on collars and cuffs and for denatured-oil smears in kitchens, etc., and further having a good smell as a detergent. That is, the present invention provides a liquid detergent comprising glycerol ether compounds represented by each of the formulas (1), (2), and (3) and a surfactant, R&mdash;O&mdash;CH &mdash;CH(OH)CH X (1), R&mdash;O&mdash;CH(CH X)CH Y ( ), and R&mdash;O&mdash;CH &mdash;CH(Z)CH W (3), wherein R, X, Y, W and Z are defined in the specification.

A detergent composition, which exerts sufficient detergency and foaming power even in the presence of oily stains comprising an amide ether carboxylate component (a) and an amide ether component (b), wherein the weight ratio of the content of the component (a) to the content of the component (b) is from 0.1 to 100; the molar ratio of the total divalent metal salt ions (X) in the whole composition and to total anionic surfactants (Y) including the component (a) is from 0.025 to 10; and the composition contains substantially no glycerol or glycerol ether component (z) or the content of said component (z) is not more than 10% by weight based on the sum of the contents of the components (a), (b) and (z) as defined in the specification.
