A sensor apparatus includes: a display cover including an operation area that is pressed by an operator and a circumferential area located on the circumference of the operation area; a frame including an opening covered by the operation area and a fixing portion that fixes the circumferential area; a touch panel that is supported by the display cover to be positioned at the opening and detects a position at which the operator comes into contact with the operation area; and a pressure-sensitive sensor that is provided between the display cover and the frame, includes a first electrode and a second electrode opposed to the first electrode, and detects a pressing force with respect to the operation area based on a change of a capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode that corresponds to a deflection amount of the display cover.

An input apparatus includes an operation surface, a plurality of first electrodes, a plurality of second electrodes, and a detection unit. The operation surface is operated with an operation object. The first electrodes include first electrode units and second electrode units. The first electrode units and the second electrode units are alternately connected in a first direction parallel to the operation surface. This, the optical recording medium has compatibility with existing optical discs and has a recording density high enough to record a moving picture.

A magneto-optical recording medium includes a first magnetic layer (reproduction layer), a second magnetic layer (control layer), a third magnetic layer (blocking layer), and a fourth magnetic layer (recording layer) having respective Curie temperatures T, T, Tand T. The Curie temperatures of the layers satisfy the relationships T&#x3e;T&#x3e;Tand T&#x3e;T. In addition, the magnetic anisotropy of the third magnetic layer Kis greater than that of the second magnetic layer K. A magnetic domain wall in the first magnetic layer in front of the spot irradiated by the reproduction light in the direction of travel is displaced toward the peak temperature portion so that a recorded domain is expanded. Displacement in the spot direction of a domain wall in the first magnetic layer behind the reproduction light spot in the direction of travel is suppressed. The second and third magnetic layers control the magnetic exchange coupling between the first and fourth magnetic layers.

An optical recording medium having sufficient repetition recording durability and its manufacturing method. A first dielectric layer,is layered on a major surface,of a substrate,, and a recording layer,, made up of two layers, namely a first thin film,and a second thin film,having different crystallization start temperatures, is formed on the first dielectric layer,. A second dielectric layer,, a reflective layer,and a protective layer,are then sequentially formed. One of the first thin film,or the second thin film,preferably contains nitrogen or oxygen. It is more desirable that the first thin film,lying towards the substrate,contains nitrogen or oxygen. The difference between the crystallization start temperature of the first thin film,and that of the second thin film,be 20&deg; C. or more. It is more desirable that the crystallization start temperature of the first thin film,lying towards the substrate,be higher by 20&deg; C. or more than that of the second thin film,. The thicknesses of the first thin film,and the second thin film,are desirably each 3 nm or more.
