An electronic photography system which displays an image shot by an electronic image capturing unit. The electronic image capturing unit includes an optical path, an image pickup for converting a focused image to electronic image data, an information inputting device for adding attribute data to the image data, and a storage for storing the image data and attribute data in mutually associated relationship. The system further includes the unit for classifying the image data on the basis of the attribute data for grouping the image data into album groups, and selecting, the album group to display the image data included in the selected album.

Electronic photography system

An optical beam scanning apparatus comprises means of modulating the optical power of a laser beam produced by a laser beam source, means of shaping the laser beam profile, and means of deflecting and focusing the shaped laser beam on a scanning plane. The optical power of the laser beam is varied in synchronism with the variation of the optical power distribution so that the peak level of optical power of the laser beam is kept constant. The optical power of the laser beam on the photosensitive drum is kept constant irrespective of the beam diameter, and printed dots of intended diameters can be produced, whereby fine multi-tone images can be printed stably.

Optical beam scanning apparatus

The present invention relates to a laser diode and a highly precise light information processor using the same, particularly a laser diode which controls the diameter of a current flowing through an active layer and changes the emitting area of the active layer, a laser printer which is suited to half tone expression with high image quality by using the above semiconductor laser device, and an optical disk device which can record data surely.
