A rubber plug holding structure for a terminal. The structure includes an electric wire that has a core wire and an insulating coating which coats the core wire; a rubber plug through which the electric wire is inserted and which seals a gap with the electric wire; and a terminal that has a first press-fastening piece which press-fastens an outer periphery of the rubber plug. The terminal also has a second press-fastening piece that is formed from a portion of the terminal which remains after cutting a connecting piece serving as a connecting portion of a carrier when the terminal is formed from a chain terminal. The second press fastening piece is press-fastened against a part of the outer periphery of the rubber plug.

Rubber plug holding structure for terminal

A connector includes a plurality of terminal receiving chambers arranged in parallel, a plurality of first tool insertion holes, and a plurality of second tool insertion holes. Each terminal receiving chamber is separated from an adjacent terminal receiving chamber by each of side walls disposed on both sides thereof. Each second tool insertion hole is formed to a side wall located at each of ends in a parallel direction of the terminal receiving chambers. In each second tool insertion hole, a lance unlock rib and a tool pressing rib are placed. The lance unlock rib is one of a pair of lance unlock ribs provided to a lance located at each of the ends in the parallel direction of the terminal receiving chambers. The tool pressing rib is provided to a side surface of the each second tool insertion hole, and protrudes in the each second tool insertion hole.

Connector

A connector with a grommet includes a housing and a grommet. A panel hooking portion, a flange, and a locking projection are formed on an outside of the housing. The grommet includes a panel contact part that comes into tight contact with an edge of a mounting hole of a panel. A flexible arm is formed on the flange so as to protrude from the flange. The locking projection is provided at a front of the flexible arm. A sensing part configured to sense whether the locking projection is locked to the panel, is provided at a rear of the flexible arm so as to protrude outward than the flange. The sensing part is received in a receiving part formed on the panel contact part. When the locking projection is not locked to the panel, the sensing part and the receiving part tilt.

Connector with grommet

A lever-type connector includes: a first housing; a second housing capable of fitted to and removed from the first housing; a lever rotatably supported by the second housing for fitted to and removed the first housing and the second housing by a rotation operation; a support shaft provided on the second housing; a bearing portion provided on the lever and comprising a shaft sliding groove for sliding the support shaft; a cam follower provided on the lever; a cam groove provided on the first housing, the cam groove to which the cam follower is engageable; a guide protrusion provided on the second housing, and a guide groove provided on the lever, the guide groove to which the guide protrusion is engageable. When the first housing and the second housing are completely fitted by the rotation operation of the lever, the lever becomes slidable with respect to the second housing.

Lever-type connector

A connector with a grommet includes a housing, a grommet, and a sensing member. A panel hooking portion, a flange, and a locking projection are formed on an outside of the housing. The sensing member includes a part received in a receiving part of the grommet and senses a locked state of the locking projection. The housing is provided with a flexible arm. The flexible arm is provided with the locking projection. The sensing member moves between the locking surface of the locking projection and a wall of the receiving part. When the locking projection is locked to the panel, the sensing member is pushed out by the panel in an anti-locking direction by a thickness of the panel.

A lever-type connector includes a first connector, a second connector, and a lever. The lever is mounted on the first connector, and is configured to pull the first connector and the second connector to each other so as to engage the first connector and the second connector with each other by fitting, due to a rotational manipulation of the lever from a lever rotation start position to a lever rotation completion position. The first connector has a support shaft. The second connector has a cam groove, and a temporary locking projection disposed at an inlet of the cam groove. The lever has a bearing portion which is rotatably supported on the support shaft, and a cam boss which engages with the cam groove. A projection having a tapered portion is formed on an outer side of the cam boss in a connector removal direction.

A connector includes a housing which is capable of holding one or more electric wires and a cover which is attached to an end part of the housing while sliding in a sliding direction and guides the electric wire extending from the end part of the housing in a predetermined direction.

In the connector, a female beak of a female housing includes a climbing surface formed on an end part at a removing direction side, and a tip end projection that protrudes in a removing direction from an end part at an upper direction side of the climbing surface. A male beak of a male housing includes a climbed surface formed on an end part at an inserting direction side, and that comes into contact with the climbing surface in a fitting direction. After connection of a male terminal housed in the male housing with a female terminal housed in the female housing is started, a tip end projection faces the male beak in a vertical direction. After the tip end projection faces the male beak, the climbing surface comes into contact with the climbed surface.

A locking structure LS includes: a locking protrusion provided on a front holder and formed to protrude in a vertical direction; locking arms provided on a female housing and formed to extend in a fitting direction; and regulating surfaces provided to face the locking protrusion in a width direction and regulate movement of the locking arms in the width direction. The locking arms are inserted between the locking protrusion and the regulating surfaces, have locking portions formed to partially overlap with the locking protrusions, and can be elastically deformed in the vertical direction with respect to the female housing.

A lock arm includes a pair of guide rails protruding toward side walls, extending in a detachment direction, and formed to have a part on the detachment direction side facing a direction away from a main body. A detection member includes a rib positioned on the detachment direction side of an abutment surface and positioned to be sandwiched between the main body and a locking protrusion, and is relatively movable with respect to a housing between a fixing position and the main locking position, the fixing position at which a distal end of a detection arm opposes a locking portion in the engagement direction, the locking protrusion is sandwiched between the rib and the main body while opposing the abutment surface in an insertion and removal direction, and a protruding body is positioned to oppose the part of the guide rail on the detachment direction side.

A connector () includes a terminal, a housing () that accommodates and holds the terminal and is engaged with a mating housing (Ch) by being releasably locked by causing a locking portion () to be locked to a locked portion () provided in the mating housing (Ch) when an engagement state with a mating connector (C) is a complete engagement state, and a detection member () that is assembled to the housing () and is relatively movable in an engagement direction and a detachment direction with respect to the housing () between a main locking position when the engagement state is the complete engagement state and a locking release position when the engagement state is an engagement release state in which the complete engagement state is released.

A backlash elimination structure of a connector includes a first contact point of a detection member contacting a first target sliding portion of a housing in a temporary locked state release operation direction of a detection member between a temporary locking position and a main locking position of the detection member, and a second contact point contacting a second target sliding portion of the housing in a direction opposite to the release operation direction therebetween. The first contact point and the second contact point are disposed to be displaced from each other in a relative movement direction of the detection member. The detection member includes a base body which is separated from a wall portion, a wall body which connects the base body and the first contact point to each other, and a first target locking body which is disposed to be separated from the wall portion.

A structure for connecting a crimp terminal and an electric wire includes: a crimp terminal that includes a conductor crimping portion and a coating crimping portion serially and includes an electric wire connector that is to be crimped to the electric wire; and a water stop sheet having an opening for bringing a conductor into contact with the conductor crimping portion, and laid between the electric wire connector and the electric wire. When a joint is swaged and crimped, the swaged and crimped joint has a second included angle &#x3b8;between the bottom plate and a second line that is larger than a first included angle &#x3b8;between the bottom plate and a first line in a cross section that is perpendicular to a bottom plate of the electric wire connector and that includes an electric wire axial line.

Connecting structure of crimp terminal and electric wire

A crimp terminal includes a terminal connecting portion, an electric wire connecting portion, and a coupling portion. The electric wire connecting portion is formed with a first barrel piece and a second barrel piece, the two facing each other, by bending processing on an electric wire side plate-shaped portion after two facing walls are formed by bending processing on a terminal side plate-shaped portion. The coupling portion is formed with two facing side walls by bending processing on a coupling side plate-shaped portion. Certain portions that will be the side walls later are formed with at least one tensile force absorbing portion that absorbs a tensile force between the terminal side plate-shaped portion side and the electric wire side plate-shaped portion side occurring during the bending processing on the terminal side plate-shaped portion.

Crimp terminal

A terminal fitting includes a terminal connecting portion and an electric wire connecting portion. A water stop member is affixed to an inner wall surface of the electric wire connecting portion before crimping process and suppresses entering of water between the electric wire connecting portion and a core wire of the electric wire after the crimping. The electric wire connecting portion is formed into a U-shape by raising the first barrel piece and the second barrel piece from both ends of the bottom. The distal end of the first barrel piece is bent toward the second barrel piece, to form a gap between a slide contact surface on a descending second die and the distal end of the first barrel piece.
