An information processing device includes a selection unit and an embedding unit. The selection unit selects, in a case where a moving image obtained by photographing plural targets that are present in front of a display screen of a display device is displayed on the display screen, plural related targets that are related to each other from the plural targets, based on a frame image of the moving image. The embedding unit embeds a composite image obtained based on an image of at least part of the plural related targets and a presentation image into the frame image.

A process in which participants in different situations define in plural epistemological spaces can be easily accommodated. An epistemological space synthesizing part synthesizes different epistemological spaces to generate a new epistemological space, thereby juxtaposing therein business processes defined in each of the epistemological spaces. An accommodated activity extraction part extracts a combinable activity from the activities of the combined business process. A common resource extraction part extracts a combinable resource (common resource) used or produced by the extracted activity. A pre- and post-activity extraction part extracts pre- and post-activities to be accommodated. A combined business process generation part generates a business process which automatically synthesizes combinable parts from the juxtaposed business processes. An accommodating activity extraction selection part uses information acquired by the accommodation information extraction part to present an accommodating method. A user selects a suitable accommodating activity.

Device and method for accommodating business process

A process is described based on activities and dependence relationship between the activities. The dependence relationship is described based on resource and coordination method. An epistemological ground is set corresponding to the domain of the process and other components of the process are described for each epistemological ground. The epistemological grounds are classified according to abstract-concrete relationship, inclusion relationship, cluster relationship, etc., and are retrieved. The activity, dependence relationship, and resource also have classification structures. Setting an epistemological ground or using a global epistemological ground, the activity, dependence relationship, and resource are defined and the process is described and analyzed.

The invention provides an image formation device based on the electrophotographic system, whereby, when an outputted image varies from the halftone area to the background area in the sub-scanning direction, the density reduction of a rear end area of the halftone area that borders on the background area can be prevented, by means of simplified and small-scale processing. In this image formation device, a backward edge of the halftone area that borders on the background area is extracted, and an image data value of the background area including m pixels after this backward edge in the sub-scanning direction, of input image data Si, is modified to a setting value with correction data. The setting value is set to a value slightly lower than the threshold value corresponding to the dot area coverage of an image recurrence start point. If there is a halftone area whose image data value given by input image data Sib is greater than the threshold value, or a background area whose image data value is greater than the setting value, in an area including m pixels in the sub-scanning direction after the backward edge of the halftone area given by input image data Sia, the value of the image data with regard to that area will not be modified, and only the value of the image data with regard to the area from the backward edge of the halftone area to that area will be modified to the setting value.

Image formation device and image processing device

To equally assign processing to a plurality of processing units which perform drawing processing in parallel. The drawing data generating unit generates vectors from drawing data. The load estimated value calculating means obtains existence frequency of the vectors on each scan line as a load estimated value, and the processing responsibility range assignment unit assigns a drawing processing area within a page to each of the drawing processing units, on the basis of load estimated values and a reference value. The drawing data storage control unit transfers a vector required for drawing processing in a drawing processing area assigned to each of the drawing processing units to a corresponding drawing processing unit. Each of the drawing processing units performs drawing processing using the transferred vector. The processing result storage control unit synthesizes and outputs the results of drawing processing in the drawing processing unit.

Drawing processing apparatus

Described herein is an apparatus for and a method of performing image-drawing processing on image-drawn objects such as at least characters or graphics with the image-drawn objects as an input. The apparatus comprises a list generating device that generates a list of image-drawn factor elements constituting the image-drawn objects, an image-drawn factor elements sorting device that classifies the image-drawn factor elements by use of reference values constant to information about the lengths of the image-drawn factor elements constituting the list, an image-drawn factor elements storing device that stores the classified image-drawn factor elements therein so as to correspond to the reference values, a plurality of image-drawing processing devices that perform parallel image-drawing processing on the image-drawn factor elements, an image-drawing area allocating device that divides an image drawing area into pieces and assigning the divided image-drawing areas to the image-drawing processing devices, an image-drawn factor elements transfer controlling device that transfers the image-drawn factor elements from the image-drawn factor elements storing device to said image-drawing processing device in association with the reference values, and a synthesizing and outputting device that synthesizes results of the image-drawing processing on the image-drawn factor elements by the image-drawing processing device and outputting the result of synthesis therefrom.

Apparatus for and method of performing image-drawing processing

A drawing processing apparatus has a drawing data input section 2 for receiving the drawing data to be drawn. A drawing data determination section 3 determines the drawing data type from the drawing data input to the drawing data input section 2 and passes the drawing data having an outline shape to a vector generation section 4 and a drawing attribute processing section 5 and the drawing data having no outline shape to the drawing attribute processing section 5 according to the drawing data type. The vector generation section 4 prepares a vector representing an outline shape from the drawing data received from the drawing data determination section 3. The drawing attribute processing section 5 gets different drawing attributes for each drawing data type from the drawing data passed from the drawing data determination section 3 and performs processing as required.

An overlap judgment device writes job sequence divided by a job sequencing device to map memory constituted at coarser resolution than the resolution of a final generated image. At this time, if an image element where a job sequence number is already written is overwritten, the dependence of the job sequence upon processing order is extracted and if an image element is not overwritten, the independence of the job sequence is extracted. A number allocated to job sequence is written to the map memory, if an image element is overwritten, the number of the preceding job sequence is allocated to the overwritten job sequence and referred to when a final image is generated. To reduce overhead for preprocessing to judge overlap between image elements if an image formation instruction is processed in parallel as much as possible, the map memory is constituted by a plurality of planes different in resolution and overlap is judged by first writing to a plane with lower resolution and rewriting to a plane with higher resolution by one level if an image element is overwritten.

Image formation system

An apparatus and method for creating a drawing program used by a printer to print a document calculates the load on the printer for printing portions of the document, and embeds the calculated loads in the drawing program. Document data is converted into page description language commands that are used by a printer to print the document. Load parameters indicating the time and/or the memory capacity required by the printer to process each command of the page description language are stored in a memory unit. The load of the printer for each of the converted commands is calculated for each process unit of the document, which corresponds to a command string, based on the load parameters. A drawing program to be processed by the printer is then created from commands and the calculated loads.
