A battery module includes; a plurality of battery cell packs; a plurality of heat dissipation plates and a cooler that absorbs heat radiated from the battery cell packs and absorbed by the heat dissipation plates. The battery cell packs and the heat dissipation plates being alternately stacked. Each of the heat dissipation plates has an interlayer plate portion that is in contact with corresponding two of the battery cell packs and side wall plate portions that extend in the stacking direction with respect to the interlayer plate portion on both end sides of the interlayer plate portion and that are in contact with the cooler at outer faces thereof, and each of the heat dissipation plates has a low thermal resistance region between the interlayer plate portion and each side wall plate portion, the low thermal resistance region having a lower thermal resistance than the interlayer plate portion.

Battery module

A stator provided with annular split stator cores, formed by stacking steel plates. Each plate includes a yoke and a stator tooth. The cores include a yoke portion a stator tooth portion. The stator is manufactured by arranging an electromagnetic steel plate between a first die and a second die. The first die has a hole shaped as a steel plate. The second die has a projection inserted into the hole and shaped as a steel plate. The steel plates are formed by the first and the second dies. In a gap between an inner surface of the first die that defines the hole and an outer surface of the projection, a gap at a part that forms the stator tooth portion is larger than a gap at a part that defines a circumferential end surface of the yoke portion located in a circumferential direction of the stator core.

Method of manufacturing a stator

Provided is a crossover module, which can facilitate the process of manufacturing a stator. The crossover module () is a module having crossovers () for connecting such coils () electrically with each other as are mounted on a stator core () of a motor (). The crossover module () is constituted such that its shape can be changed between a shape, in which it is mounted on the stator core (), and a shape, in which it is opened to the outer sides from the former shape.

Crossover module

A battery unit includes a casing, bipolar batteries as a plurality of stacked type batteries housed in the casing, and a plug. The bipolar battery is formed by stacking a plurality of battery elements each having sheet electrodes on opposite sides of an electrolyte, and has collectors. The plug is detachably inserted between the bipolar batteries, and electrically connects bipolar batteries.

Battery unit

In a rotating electrical machine, when a stator winding is wound in concentrated winding, an improvement in performance is achieved by reducing a magnetomotive force harmonic without reducing a fundamental wave magnetic flux generated by a stator. A rotating electrical machine () includes a rotor (), and two stators () opposed with the rotor () being interposed therebetween either on both sides of the rotor () in the axial direction or on both sides of the rotor () in the radial direction. Stator windings () provided in a plurality of portions in the circumferential direction of each stator () are wound in concentrated winding. The directions of magnetic fluxes generated by stator windings () having the same phase in the stators () are in mutually opposite directions with respect to either the axial direction or the radial direction. The stator windings () having the same phase in the stators () are arranged to be shifted from each other by 180 degrees in electrical angle in the circumferential direction.

Rotating electrical machine

There is provided a rotating electric machine capable of preventing a coolant from being retained at an outer surface of a rotor. This rotating electric machine includes a rotation shaft provided so as to be rotatable, a core body secured to the rotation shaft, a permanent magnet embedded in the core body, and an end plate provided so as to be opposed to an axial end surface of the core body. A first coolant channel is formed in the rotation shaft to allow a coolant to flow therethrough. A second coolant channel is formed between the end plate and the axial end surface of the core body to communicate with the first coolant channel. A partition wall that partitions the second coolant channel in a circumferential direction and a path wall that guides the coolant in the second coolant channel toward an outer peripheral edge region of the axial end surface where the permanent magnet is placed are formed inside the second coolant channel.

A rotating electric machine includes a rotation shaft arranged rotatably, a rotor having a storing hole capable of storing a permanent magnet, including the permanent magnet stored in the storing hole, and being fixed to the rotation shaft, a stator facing the rotor and including a coil, an end plate provided at an axial end of the rotor, a coolant passage formed in the end plate and running along an axial end of the permanent magnet for allowing a coolant to flow, and a discharge hole located at a radially inner side of the rotor with respect to a cooling target region including the permanent magnet and being located at an outer circumferential side of the rotor from a radially inner end of the permanent magnet, the discharge hole communicating with the coolant passage and being capable of discharging the coolant.

Heat discharging property of the stator coil end is improved effectively in a rotating electric machine. A motor as the rotating electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and resin mold coil ends provided on both axial ends thereof. Column-shaped projections projecting in the axial direction are provided on axial side surfaces of resin mold coil ends at a plurality of positions. Cooling oil supplied from above the resin mold coil ends effectively cools the resin mold coil ends.

Rotating electric machine and cooling system for the rotating electric machine

A connection line has a first bent portion bent toward a coil's main body in a vicinity of a stator core's axial length limit line. Furthermore, the connection line at a portion closer to the coil's main body than the first bent portion has a second bent portion bent away from the coil's main body. Furthermore, the connection line has a third bent portion bent away from the coil's main body to have a connection portion along an end surface of the terminal member in contact therewith generally parallel thereto.

A split stator for an electric motor includes a core having a tooth portion, a coil formed around the tooth portion, insulation spacers arranged between a surface of the tooth portion and an inner periphery of the coil, and holding the inner periphery of the coil with a space kept from the surface of the tooth portion, and a resin filler material having high thermal conductivity and filling the space. The resin filler material is configured to allow heat release from the inner periphery of coil to the core.

Split stator for electric motor and manufacturing method of the same

A drive device of a vehicle includes a motor generator, a lubricant circulating mechanism lubricating and cooling the motor generator, a power control unit controlling the motor generator, arranged on a circulation path of a lubricating oil and being in contact with the lubricating oil for transferring and receiving a heat to and from the lubricating oil, and a casing accommodating the motor generator, the lubricating mechanism and the power control mechanism, and provided with the circulation path. Preferably, the power control unit includes a power control element and a board () having a first main surface on which the power control element is mounted. The board () is provided on its second main surface side with a radiator fin (and) for contact with the lubricating oil in the circulation path.

Drive device of vehicle

An electric motor has a field pole formed by a field current passing through a field winding. A voltage booting converter converts output voltage of a battery and outputs the voltage between a power source line and a grounding line. Field winding is electrically connected onto an electric current channel between battery and power source line and formed so that voltage switched by a switching element is applied to both ends. A controller controls the field current so as to adjust density of magnetic flux between a rotor and a stator by performing switching control on switching element and a switching element connected in parallel to field winding and converts the output voltage of battery into voltage in accordance with a voltage command value.

Drive device of electric motor

A stator core includes: an assembled stator core formed of annularly arranged, divided stator cores; a fixing member disposed at an outer circumferential surface of the assembled stator core and capable of pressing the divided stator cores inward in a radial direction of the assembled stator core to annularly arrange and thus fix the divided stator cores; and a weak portion provided between the divided stator cores and the fixing member and deformable by a force exerted from the fixing member to press the divided stator cores.

A rotating electric motor includes a stator core, a rotational shaft capable of rotation, a field yoke allowing a flow of magnetic flux in an axial direction, first and second rotor cores fixedly installed on the rotational shaft, a first magnet fixedly installed between the first rotor core and the second rotor core, a first rotor teeth formed at the first rotor core, a second magnet provided alongside of the first rotor teeth in the circumferential direction of the first rotor core, a second rotor teeth formed at the outer surface of the second rotor core, protruding outwardly in the radial direction, a third magnet provided alongside of the second rotor core in the axial direction, and windings that can control the density of magnetic flux between at least one of the first rotor core and second rotor core and the stator core.

A trans axle includes motor generators with central rotation axes of respective rotors arranged coaxially, a power split device arranged coaxially with the central rotation axis of a crank shaft and between motor generators, and a power control unit controlling the motor generators. The power control unit is arranged such that a reactor is positioned at least on one side and a smoothing capacitor is positioned on the other side of the central rotation axis of motor generator. The motor generators, the power split device and the power control unit are housed and integrated in a metal case, and fixed on a body of a vehicle () by an engine mount.
