A mobile terminal used in a wireless communication system including a first wireless base station where a handover is not allowed between the same type of wireless base stations and a second wireless base station where a handover is allowed between the same type of wireless base stations, the mobile terminal includes a handover executing unit which executes first handover processing that switches a communication destination of the mobile terminal from the first wireless base station to the second wireless base station while communicating with the first wireless base station and a disconnecting unit which disconnects communication between the mobile terminal and the second wireless base station when the communication destination of the mobile terminal has not returned from the second wireless base station to the first wireless base station within a predetermined time.

Mobile terminal and communication method

A wireless communications devicecomprising a wireless control function unit, a Bluetooth control function unit, and a user interface unit, wherein the device has, as the Bluetooth, at least one of a (i) Hands-Free Profile, (ii) Dial-up Networking Profile/Personal Area Network Profile, and (iii) Generic Object Exchange Profile. This deviceoptimally implements the Bluetooth low-consumption mode in accordance with the contents of the profiles of the foregoing items (i) to (iii) in view of the system efficiency by (a) invalidating the low-consumption mode or (b) validating the low-consumption mode so as to reduce the number of data transmissions per unit time in the case of (i), make the time parameters of each of the Hold, Sniff, and Park modes variable or alternatively make the manner of implementation of the low-consumption mode variable depending on whether the channel of the data transmission is a dedicated physical channel or a common physical channel in the case of (ii), and shift to the low-consumption mode only in a single-data transfer mode and prohibit it in an all-data transfer mode in the case of (iii).

Mobile terminal

A communication terminal having a wireless communication facility including sending and receiving a message which is sent to a receiving terminal without a send request from a receiving terminal through a message center, including: a message sending/receiving unit sending and receiving the message; a time control unit controlling current time; a message analysis unit analyzing a message which is sent by a message center, received by the message sending/receiving unit, and includes time information assigned by a message center, and retrieving the time information; and a time setting unit setting in the time control unit a time indicated by the time information retrieved by the message analysis unit as a current time.
