Looseness of a rotary connector and lifting of the rotary connector which occurs depending on a harness wiring state are prevented, to reduce inconvenience such as generation of an abnormal sound due to the rotary connector contacting a steering wheel. In a fixing structure of a rotary connector, which includes a projecting pieceto fix the rotary connector to a combination switch and a locked portionto be locked by the projecting pieceand in which a laterally protruding locking clawis formed in a tip portion of the projecting piece, the locking clawof the projecting pieceis integrally provided with a flexible urging portionthat displaces and urges the locking clawin a locking direction. A contact surfaceis formed on the locking claw, the contact surfaceobliquely coming into contact with a locking side cornerof the locked portionfrom the opposing side.

Rotary connector and fixing structure of rotary connector

A rotator, which is configured by an annular top plate and a cylindrically shaped inner peripheral portion, and a stator, which is configured by assembling an annular stator main body and a cylindrically shaped sub stator, are assembled to be relatively rotatable in both a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction. An SRC that houses a flat cable being wound inside of a housing space formed therein is provided with a stator locking portion that enables a frame-shaped locking portion that extends from the stator main body to lock with a protruding locking portion that is formed on the sub stator; and a recess-protrusion fitting portion that suppresses the entry of foreign matter into the housing space. The recess-protrusion fitting portion is disposed on an opposing portion that corresponds to the stator locking portion.

Rotary connector device

A rotatable connector device includes a steering roll connector that accommodates a flat cable in an accommodation space in the state where the flat cable can be wound and unwound. Also, a plurality of rotatable rollers are located on a top surface of a retainer concentrically with the retainer at an equal interval in a circumferential direction of the retainer. A regulation section on which a reversed part is allowed to be pressed is provided on the top surface of the retainer at a position away from one of the plurality of rotatable rollers, namely, a rotatable roller, on the side of a part of the rotatable roller along which the reversed part can be wound. The regulation section is away from the part of the rotatable roller by a gap which allows the reversed part to contact or detached from the rotatable roller.

Rotatable connector device

A rotary connector device includes a stator and a rotator which rotates with respect to the stator concentrically with a steering; an accommodating space having a ring shape in a plan view, which is formed inside the stator and the rotator, and which accommodates a cable for electrically connecting the rotator and the stator in a wound state; and a retainer which is located on a bottom surface of the accommodating space so as to be able to guide the cable to rotate concentrically circle with the steering. The rotator includes an inner peripheral tube portion which forms an inner peripheral surface of the accommodating space. A rotator side abutting portion which abuts an upper surface inner peripheral portion of the retainer in a slidable manner is formed on a lower portion of the inner peripheral tube portion.

A steering roll connector includes a rotator, a sleeve, and a fixed casing. The rotator includes a claw and an inner cylindrical part, and is mounted to a steering shaft such that the rotator is rotated integrally with the steering shaft inserted in the inner cylindrical part. The sleeve includes a projection connectable with the claw, and is mounted to the rotator such that the sleeve is rotated integrally with the rotator. The fixed casing includes an outer cylindrical part, and is mounted such that the fixed casing does not follow rotation of the steering shaft inserted in the outer cylindrical part and such that the fixed casing is in contact with the sleeve. A combination of materials of the claw and the projection is such that occurrence of a squeak caused when the claw and the projection are rubbed against each other is suppressed.
