A heat transport device includes a container having a hollow structure including a fluid channel, at least one thermal-receiver heat exchanger and one thermal-radiator heat exchanger arranged side-by-side on an outer wall of the container along the fluid channel, and driving heat exchangers at respective terminal portions of the container. In this heat transport device, both ends of the fluid channel are closed to prevent intrusion of external air, and a liquid and a gas are sealed in the fluid channel. The driving heat exchangers cause the liquid to oscillate in the container along the internal fluid channel. The heat transport device provides low acoustic noise performance, improved temperature controllability, high heat transportation and heat radiating capacities, and improved heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics.

A communication device includes a communication circuit mounted on a printed substrate and having a heat generating element; a shield casing covering the communication circuit and shielding electromagnetic waves; a housing accommodating the shield casing and the printed substrate; a heat diffusing member mounted along an inner wall of the shield casing diffusing heat in a planar direction; and a heat insulating layer disposed between the shield casing and an inner wall of the housing.

Cooling structure of communication device

A heat and mass transfer device for transmitting heat between a fluid flowing within a pipe and a solution flowing on the outside of the pipe. The device comprises at least one vertically upright tubular pipe and a U-shaped folded metal fin strip twisted helically around the periphery of the pipe. The spacing of the fins on the pipe is such that a pulsating flow of the solution flowing on the outside of the pipe is achieved.

Heat and mass transfer device

The boiling cooling apparatus is comprised of a heat generating device which is completely immersed in a liquid coolant which partially fills a sealed container. At least one vertically extending passage is provided through the heat producing device whereby ascending bubbles formed in the passage by the heat transfer from the heat generating device to the liquid medium cause an upward current flow through the passage. A plurality of current flow control plates are provided for diverting the upward flow of liquid coolant laterally and downwardly along the sides of the container to provide convection cooling of the liquid and directing the downward flow of liquid coolant into the lower end of the passage in the heat generating device to provide a cyclic flow of the cooling liquid.

Boiling cooling apparatus

An improved mass transfer heat exchanger in which heat transmission surfaces are more effectively used and having excellent mass transmission characteristics. Heat transmission pipes are arranged vertically in a tank, extending through a partition board dividing the tank into upper and lower chambers. A solution lead-in pipe supplies a high-density solution to be subjected to heat exchange to the upper chamber, and a pump draws a low-density solution obtained by mass exchange out of the lower chamber and delivers a part thereof to the upper chamber. The upper and lower chambers are communicated through a return pipe which delivers to the lower chamber an intermediate-density solution obtained by mixing the high-density solution and a surplus of the low-density solution in the upper chamber. A vapor lead-in pipe supplies vapor to the lower chamber. The intermediate-density solution flows down the heat transmission pipes, passing through gaps between the partition boards and heat transmission pipes.

Mass transfer heat exchanger

A steam generating and condensing apparatus having a steam generating chamber in which a diluted solution flowing from an absorption device and containing a refrigerant absorbed therein flows outside of the pipes of a steam generating heat exchanger to evaporate the refrigerant from the diluted solution with a hot fluid flowing through the pipes of the steam generating heat exchanger, and a steam condensing chamber in which the refrigerant steam supplied through a partition from the steam generating chamber is condensed by a steam condensing heat exchanger. A double-cylinder assembly is provided composed of outer and inner cylinders, with the inner cylinder being divided by a dispersing end plate into upper and lower chambers serving as a dispersing diluted solution chamber and the steam generating chamber, respectively. The inner and outer cylinders jointly define a space in which the steam condensing chamber is disposed. The partition has eliminators on an upper portion thereof. The dispersing diluted solution pool is provided with a diluted solution inlet pipe. The steam generating chamber has a concentrated solution outlet pipe in a lower portion thereof.
