A disclosed vibration insulating mount is promptly disposed between a vibrating body and a mounting body. The mount comprises a fluid chamber filled with a fluid, an elastic support partly defining the fluid chamber and mounting the vibrating body, a movable member partly defining the fluid chamber and capable of being displaced so as to change a volume of the fluid chamber, a supporting member supporting the movable member, and an actuator opposed to the movable member and generating displacing force to displace the movable member. Here, thickness of an outer portion of the movable member is thinner than that of an inner portion of the movable member.

Vibration insulating mount

A disclosed vibration insulating device, which is interposed between a vibrating body and a mounting body, includes a fluid chamber fluid filled with fluid, an elastic support partly defining the fluid chamber, a movable member partly defining the fluid chamber, a supporting member supporting the movable member, an actuator opposed to the movable member, the actuator that generates displacement force to displace the movable member, and a gap holding member disposed between the supporting member and the actuator. The gap holding member maintains a gap between the actuator and the movable member. Also, according to a disclosed assembly method of the vibration insulating device, the movable member is supported so as to oppose the actuator by using the supporting member and the gap holding member such that it is capable of being displaced with respect to the actuator. Here, in the method, the gap holding member is positioned between the movable member and the actuator.

Vibration insulating device and assembly method thereof

A fluid sealed type vibration insulating device provided with an actuator for generating an active supporting force. The vibration insulating support device includes a main fluid chamber defined by a conical-shaped elastic support and a movable construction part. The movable construction part is constituted by a partition wall and a magnetic path member which is fastened to the partition wall through a clearance spacer. Therefore, a clearance is formed between the partition wall and the magnetic path and a plate spring is installed in the clearance to support the movable plate against the magnetic force of a permanent magnet. The partition wall has an internal thread hole to be bolted. The magnetic path has a hole with one opening diameter larger than another opening diameter for inserting a bolt. The bolt has a dish-shaped bolt head. If a center of the hole is off to the side of the center of the partition wall's hole, any edge point of the bolt head contacts any surface of the inner hole and pushes. Therefore, the center of the magnetic path member,is automatically put in alignment with the center of the partition wall,A by the bolt.

Vibration insulating device

A fluid sealed type vibration insulating device provided with an actuator for generating an active supporting force. The vibration insulating support device includes a main fluid chamber defined by a cylindrical elastic support and a movable plate connected to a non-linear type plate spring. The main fluid chamber is fluidly communicated with a variable-volume auxiliary fluid chamber through an orifice. The actuator moves the movable plate to change a dynamic spring characteristic and a damping characteristic of a fluid resonance system constituted by a mass of fluid in the orifice and a spring of an expanding direction of the elastic support and the plate spring. Therefore, a required output of the actuator is suppressed.

Described is a vibration isolator of a vibration actively reducing apparatus which achieves a more accurate detection of a residual vibration by means of a load sensor after an interference of a controlled vibration developed from a controlled vibration source constituting the vibration isolator against a vibration developed and transmitted from a vibration source such as a vehicular engine. In the vibration isolator, all vibration forces developed and transmitted from the vibration source are once concentrated onto a predetermined rigidity member such as a yoke of an electromagnetic actuator constituting the controlled vibration source and the load sensor is installed between the predetermined rigidity member and a lid member of the vibration isolator coupled to a supporting base member attached onto, for example, a vehicle body.

Vibration isolator of vibration actively reducing apparatus

A fluid sealed type vibration insulating device provided with an actuator for generating an active supporting force. The vibration insulating support device includes a main fluid chamber defined by a cylindrical elastic support and a movable plate connected to a plate spring. The actuator moves the movable plate to change a dynamic spring characteristic and a damping characteristic of a fluid resonance system constituted by a mass of fluid in the orifice, the elastic support, and the plate spring. The plate spring elastically supports the movable plate so that the movable plate is displaced to change the volume of the fluid chamber. The plate spring includes a plurality of rectangular plate spring portions which are radially arranged.

In apparatus and method for actively reducing a periodic vibration and/or noise, a divergence determinator is provided in which a presence or absence of a higher order divergence of a control of the reduction of the periodic vibration and/or noise is determined on the basis of a sum of two sampled values of at least one of either a drive signal y or a residual wave (vibration or noise) signal e, phases of the two sampled values being mutually deviated from each other by an approximately half period of a fundamental order of the corresponding drive or residual wave signal.

Apparatus and method for actively reducing vibration and/or noise

A fluid sealed type vibration insulating device which is interposed between a vibrating object and a structural member and generates controlled vibrations for reducing vibrations of the structural member caused by the vibrating object. The vibration insulating device includes a controller which judges whether the device goes abnormal according to signals from sensors and executes a counter process for meeting with the generated abnormality.

A vibration control apparatus for a vehicle equipped with a power unit and a vehicle body is comprised of an active engine mount disposed between the power unit and the vehicle body. A controller is connected to a vehicle body vibration detector, a passenger compartment vibration detector and a drive force detector. The vehicle body vibration detector detects a vibration transmitted from the power unit to the vehicle body through the active engine mount. The passenger compartment vibration detector detects a vibration of a member defining a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The drive force detector detects as to whether driving force of the power unit is transmitted to driving wheels. The controller controls the active engine mount to reduce the passenger compartment vibration when the driving force is transmitted to the driving wheels and to reduce the vehicle body vibration when the driving force is not transmitted to the driving wheels.

Active vibration control apparatus for vehicle

A vibro-isolating support includes an inner tubular member having a top portion, from which a conical wall extends downwardly and inwardly. An elastic support material is bonded to the inner surface of conical wall. The bottom portion of the conical wall curves radially outwardly so that the inner tubular member has a radially outwardly opening V-shape in an axial cross section, and includes a neck between the top and bottom portions. A main fluid chamber is located inside the inner tubular member, outside of which are located an orifice and an auxiliary fluid chamber. An actuator displaces a movable member and varies the volume of the main fluid chamber.
