A tape autoloading device includes a tape leading-end processing device, which forms the leading end of a carrier tape into a predetermined shape, and a transfer device, which carries the carrier tape in a first direction different from the tape longitudinal direction and transfers the carrier tape to the next step. Tape leading-end processing device includes a feeding device for conveying the carrier tape along a conveyance path formed in a groove in a guide member, a pressing device for pressing the upper surface of the carrier tape, and a cutting device for cutting the leading-end of the carrier tape. The transfer device includes a guide device for guiding the carrier tape having a leading end formed into a predetermined shape, a gripping device for gripping the leading end of the carrier tape, and a moving device for moving the carrier tape in the first direction.

Tape autoloading device

A tape auto-loading device for loading a carrier tape including a cover tape gripping device configured to grip a distal end of the cover tape which is peeled off from the base tape, a linking device configured to link the temporary tape held by the temporary tape laying device to a distal end portion of the cover tape gripped by the cover tape gripping device, and a transfer device configured to transfer the temporary tape linked to the distal end portion of the cover tape from the temporary tape laying device to the tape feeder. The linking device includes a tape support member and a heating member each having respective shapes for pinching the predetermined portion in such a state of the predetermined portion being bent at a halfway position along a length in a tape's longitudinal direction.

Tape auto-loading device and tape linking method therefor

An automatic splicing unit (ASU) is arranged in a production line configured to include multiple mounters. When an operator performs splicing work of each mounter by using the ASU, each time a component shortage is predicted, a priority is determined so as to perform the splicing work giving priority to those for which a distance to the ASU is shorter from multiple work target mounters having a mounted feeder which has not completed the splicing work yet (Sto S). In this manner, it is possible to minimize the movement of the ASU when splicing work is performed for all of the work target mounters, and it is possible to quickly and efficiently perform splicing work.
