In a vehicle handle locking apparatus, a locking member that can operate between a locked position and an unlocked position and a holding member that operates together with the locking member are resiliently urged toward the unlocked position side; and an engaging member that engages with a holding member in the locked position and holds the locking member in the locked position is operated by operation of an electric actuator toward the side to release the engagement with the holding member. Forced unlocking drive device forcibly drives the holding member toward the unlocked position side in response to the operation of the electric actuator in a state in which the locking member is in the locked position. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a vehicle handle locking apparatus that releases, even when a force in a rotating direction is applied to a steering handle, engagement of a locking member with the steering handle or a linkage member so that an unlocked state is reliably achieved.

Vehicle handle locking apparatus

A handlebars locking apparatus for locking and unlocking of the handlebars on the basis of a code collation is provided. A collation ECU releases a restriction of a rotor latched by a latch by driving a solenoid if an ignition switch is turned OFF while a lock pin is retracted. After releasing the restriction, rotation of the rotor is restricted by the latch and a code collation with a code stored in a portable key is carried out if a lock pin is in a protrusion state after the release of the restriction and the protrusion state is detected by a lock side switch. If the code collation is correctly carried out, the protrusion of the lock pin is maintained to lock the handlebars. If the code collation is not correctly completed, the restriction of the rotor is released so as to be returned into an unlocked state.

Steering means locking apparatus

The keyless engine starting system includes a turning shaftconnected to a handle lock for locking and unlocking. The keyless engine starting system also includes a knobhaving a cylindrical support portion which is turnably fitted along an outer periphery of the shaft. The shaftis in engagement with a pawlwhen the knobis in a predetermined lock position to limit the turning motion of the shaft. The engagement of pawlwith respect to the shaftis released in response to a releasing signal from outside. The keyless engine starting system also includes a click ball, a springand a recesswhich form a torque limiter mechanism for connecting the knobwith the shaft. Vehicle locking apparatus

A cylinder lock capable of normal unlocking operation by an authorized key to a locking mechanism which has been illegally operated by an unauthorized key or the like, the cylinder lock comprising an engaging portion that engages a rotor in the rotational direction only when the cylinder moves toward the unlocking member is disposed to a cylinder to engage the rotor and the cylinder thereby rotating the rotor upon subsequent insertion of an authorized key to connect the rotor and the connection member thereby enabling normal unlocking operation.

Cylinder lock

A vehicle outer handle system includes a handle main body formed from a synthetic resin and having a hollow grip part, and an electrode for detecting a change in capacitance. One end of the handle main body is swingably supported in a door outer panel, and the electrode is housed within the grip part. A grounded electrostatic shield plate is disposed with the grip part outwardly of the electrode, thereby preventing an erroneous determination of a user's intention of opening the door.

Vehicle outer handle system

In a sensor device in which an IC module having a sensing portion at its top end is housed and fixed in a housing made of a synthetic resin, and a pair of leads are connected at one end of them to the IC module in the housing, the sensor device including a holder assembly comprising a first holder having a containment recess for containing the IC module while retaining the top end of the IC module, and an insert hole leading to the containment recess for allowing the IC module to be inserted to the containment recess, and a second holder having a partition wall disposed between the pair of leads connected to the rear end of the IC module, inserted in the insert hole of the first holder, and retaining the rear part of the IC module in cooperation with the first holder, the IC module being contained in the containment recess and the holder assembly being covered by the housing, whereby it is possible to simplify the structure of assembling the second holder to the first holder, and simplify the operation of assembling the IC module to the holder assembly, thereby enabling to easily manufacture the sensor device.

Sensor device

A sensor device comprising a housing, an IC module having a detection portion contained in the housing and a cord having a plurality of signal lines covered with an insulative covering material, one end of the covering material being joined to the rear end of the housing, and the signal lines extended from the covering material being connected with the IC module, wherein the housing is composed of an inner core molded from a soft synthetic resin so as to cover the covering material, the signal lines extended from the covering material, the IC module and connection portions between the signal lines and the IC module, and an outer shell made of a rigid synthetic resin and molded to the outer periphery of the inner core. A protector for protecting the IC module is previously attached to the inner core. The number of parts for constituting the sensor can be reduced and troublesome fabrication can be facilitated.

An electromagnetic sensor formed by integral resin molding of a sensing device in which a pointed protrusion and an apertured protrusion for positioning capable of complementally engagement to each other are provided one at an axial end face of the sensing device and the other at an inner surface of a molding die. A plurality of circumferentially spaced apart axially extending portions in an intimate contact with an inner circumference of the molding die are provided to the outer circumference at a lower portion of a bobbin of the sensing device. The positioning protrusion on an axial end face of the sensing device is shaped such that the size in a direction perpendicular to a streamline of the resin is gradually decreased as it is away from a resin injection gate. The sensing portion is positioned stably in the molding die, resin molding can be applied as far as the top end of the pole piece to provide protection, and water proofness of the sensor is improved by intact contact with the resin.

Electromagnetic sensor and molding method for manufacturing the same

Various component parts of a sensor main body are integrally insert molded, and are mounted to a mounting bracket member which is adapted to be securely attached to an external member such as a vehicle body. The sensor mount member defines a recess closely receiving an end of the molded casing, and these two parts are securely joined together by ultrasonic welding. Simultaneously, necessary electric connections are effected when the sensor main body is fitted into this recess via pin and socket connectors. Thus, both the reliability and the mechanical strength of the magnetic sensor can be ensured without involving the use potting material and the process of making electric connections which are known to complicate the fabrication process.

Magnetic sensor with molded casing having an insert molded coil

A bobbin unit comprising a cylindrical bobbin with reeled coil, a pole piece set in the bobbin, a magnet disposed at the edge of the poll piece, and a terminal connected to the terminal, is mounted on a stay with an engaging extrusion of the bobbin, and the bobbin unit and the stay are covered together with a body molded with resin. An 'O' ring is installed between the pole piece and the bobbin.
