A refrigerant supplied from a refrigerant supply pipe flows into a first space, being a passage of the refrigerant, from a space between first stage and second stage rotor disks. The refrigerant supplied to the first space is guided to second, third and forth spaces through a gap between a spindle bolt and a bolt hole, during which the rotor disks are warmed up or cooled. In the second stage rotor disk, a refrigerant through hole axially penetrating this rotor disk is provided near the center thereof. The refrigerant flowing into the first space passes through the refrigerant through hole to flow into the second space, to thereby promote the convection in the first, second, third and fourth spaces and equalization of temperatures in the rotor disks.

A combined cycle gas turbine system is improved to enhance a gas turbine efficiency and a combined efficiency by effecting steam-cooling of a combustor transition piece and a turbine blade. The combined cycle system has a gas turbine () having a generator (), a compressor (), a combustor (), a blade cooling air cooler () and a turbine (), a steam turbine () having a high pressure turbine (), an intermediate pressure turbine () and a low pressure turbine (), and a waste heat recovery boiler (). Saturated water of a high pressure pump () is partially led into a demineralizer () and a water sprayer () for cooling steam to be supplied into a moving blade (). The steam, after being used for cooling, is recovered into a reheater (). Outlet steam of the high pressure turbine () is led into a stationary blade () for cooling thereof and the steam is then recovered into an inlet of the intermediate pressure turbine (). Also, steam of an intermediate pressure superheater () is led into a combustor transition piece () for cooling thereof and the steam is recovered into the inlet of the intermediate pressure turbine (). Thus, moving blade cooling steam is reduced and the combined efficiency is enhanced.

Combined cycle gas turbine system

The blade has such a shape that the diameters of circles inscribing the belly and back sides at different positions of adjacent blades decreases as one goes from the front edge to the rear edge. Since the blade has such a shape, even if the influent angle and effluent angle of gases are increased, a deceleration passage is not formed in the passage between the adjacent moving blades.

The pressure ratio &Dgr;P4S of a final stage moving blade is reduced. As a result, the Mach number in the final stage moving blade can be suppressed, and in the gas turbine operating at a pressure ratio of 20 or more, therefore, decline of turbine efficiency due to shock wave loss can be prevented securely.

Gas turbine

A tube seal is fitted with a spherical spring, being an elastic member, at one end of a tubular barrel. The end where the spring is fitted to the tubular barrel is inserted into a steam supply pipe outlet, which is a coolant passage provided in a rotor disk. The other end of the barrel is formed into a spherical shape, and this end is inserted into a steam supply port in a dynamic blade, being another coolant passage port, and abuts against the internal surface of the steam supply port.

A shaft structure of a rotor tail end of a gas turbine in which a steam passage for supplying and recovering a steam for cooling rotor blades of the gas turbine extends along a center axis of the rotor assembly of the gas turbine is provided, wherein a center hole of the rotor tail end coaxial to the center axis of the steam passage is formed in the rotor tail end. Provision is also made of a thermal sleeve between the steam passage and the inner surface of the center hole of the rotor tail end, so that a thermal insulation gas layer is formed between the inner surface of the center hole of the rotor tail end and the thermal sleeve. The thermal insulation gas layer is isolated gas-tightly and liquid-tightly from the outside.

Further, the outlet steam from the high pressure turbine ( ) is led into the turbine ( ) for cooling blades thereof. The steam used for cooling the stationary blade is supplied to the inlet of the intermediate pressure turbine ( ), and the steam used for cooling the moving blade is supplied to a reheater ( ). Thus, the efficiency is enhanced.

Combined cycle power plant

There is provided a steam-cooled gas turbine with a plurality of blades cooled by a steam supplied from an external steam source. The rotor of the steam-cooled gas turbine is composed of a plurality of rotor disks connected by a plurality of spindle bolt extending through the rotor disks. The rotor includes a steam supply passage extending in the rotor, a steam supply chamber for distributing the steam to the respective blades, a steam recovery chamber for equally receiving the steam used for cooling the blades, and a steam recovery passage for directing the steam from the steam recovery chamber to the outside of the steam-cooled gas turbine. A sealing member in the form of substantially a ring, for sealing the steam leakage between the rotor and the spindle bolts, is disposed about each of the spindle bolts. The rotor includes recesses, disposed coaxially with the respective spindle bolt holes, for receiving the sealing members. A plurality of holding members holds the sealing members in place within the respective recesses by axially clamping the sealing members and engaging with the inner walls of the recesses.

Arrangement for sealing a steam-cooled gas turbine

A combined cycle power plant has a gas turbine and an exhaust heat recovery boiler to which exhaust gas from the gas turbine is supplied. The exhaust heat recovery boiler is configured to generate steam for cooling. The combined cycle power plant has several elements: a cooling steam supply pipe; a cooling steam recovery pipe; and a cooling steam connecting pipe. The cooling steam connecting pipe has a cross-sectional area larger than cross-sectional areas of the cooling steam supply pipe and the cooling steam recovery pipe so that a pressure drop thereacross, as a whole, is small.

Gas turbine for combined cycle power plant

A combined cycle power plant includes a combination of a gas turbine plant and steam turbine plant. The gas turbine cooling steam temperature is adjusted appropriately so that the gas turbine can be made of easily obtainable material. Steam supplied from the intermediate pressure evaporator is mixed into the cooling steam supply passage for supplying therethrough exhaust steam from the high pressure steam turbine into the gas turbine high temperature portion as cooling steam. Thus, cooling steam temperature is lowered without lowering of the entire efficiency, and material of less heat resistant ability becomes usable as material forming the gas turbine high temperature portion to be cooled. Thus, design and manufacture of the gas turbine may be satisfied by less expensive and easily obtainable material.

Combined cycle power plant and cooling steam supply method for gas turbine therein

A mixture of H and CO as fuel added with O is burned to generate high temperature gas, which works in high temperature turbine , flows through heat exchangers and returns partly to the compressor and enters partly low pressure turbine of a bottoming system to work. Condensed water from condenser of the bottoming system is pressurized by pressure pump and flows through the heat exchangers to become high temperature steam and to work in high pressure turbine . Exhaust gas thereof is mixed into the combustor . A mixture of methanol and water is supplied into reformer to absorb heat from the heat exchanger to be reformed into H and CO , which is supplied into the combustor . A high temperature portion of the high temperature turbine is cooled by cooling medium extracted from the compressor outlet and high pressure turbine outlet thereby reliability of the high temperature turbine is enhanced.
