Providing a metal mold repair method and a metal mold repair paste agent which are capable of repairing cracks with simple work. A repair paste agent containing components that become an alloy is directly applied to a surface of a metal mold having a crack so as to cover the crack part, subsequently a surface of the repair paste agent is coated with an oxidation inhibitor and the repair paste agent is made to penetrate the inside of the crack by heating and becomes an alloy, thereby filling up the crack.

An apparatus is disclosed for forming planar sheets into containers for containing a flowable food or like product. The container-forming apparatus has an apparatus frame with a plurality of treating stations including a planar sheet feed station. The apparatus also has a rotary body having radial mandrels which are rotatable so as to stop at each of the plurality of treating stations. A holding device is provided on each of the mandrels for holding the planar sheets to the mandrel, and a feeder, preferably having suction cups, is provided for feeding the planar sheet to the holding device at the sheet feed station. The various treating stations along the path of movement of the mandrels are for forming the sheet into a tube and closing one end of the tube to form a bottom of the container.

Apparatus for forming containers

A packaging machine comprising a rotary body having blank bottom forming radial mandrels so arranged as to be successively stoppable at a plurality of process stations including a blank feed station, a feeder for fitting a tubular blank having a square or rectangular cross section around the mandrel stopping at the blank feed station to feed the blank to the mandrel, and a collector for collecting paper particles adhering to the blank to be fed by the feeder. The feeder has a pair of guide rails positioned on opposite sides of and extending in parallel to a phantom line extending outward from the mandrel stopping at the blank feed station. The collector has a tubular collecting cover enclosing the guide rails. The cover is formed with an air outlet covered with a filter. A suction device applies suction to the air outlet.

Packaging machine

A packaging machine for use with a paper-base laminate serving as a packaging material and having a thermoplastic synthetic resin layer on each surface of a paper layer comprises a container forming unit for forming a content-filled tube into baglike containers after the web is made into a tube and contents are filled thereinto. The unit has jaws for clamping the content-filled tube at regular lengthwise intervals each corresponding to one container to heat-seal the tube over a required width and cut the tube at the midportion of the seal width, and the jaws are provided with a high-frequency coil for heat sealing. The machine further has a unit for affixing a tape of aluminum foil for high-frequency induction heating to the web at the portion thereof to be heat-sealed before the web is made into the tube.

A packaging machine for filling a fluid food or like contents into containers fed to a conveyor and each coated with a thermoplastic synthetic resin over the outer surface thereof and thereafter closing the containers while the containers are being transported by the conveyor. The container transport path has at an intermediate portion thereof a station where hot air is applied to each container, for example, for heat sealing. The conveyor is provided with rails for guiding the container by supporting the bottom thereof. If the rails are heated with the hot air, the resin is likely to adhere to the rails on melting. The rails are provided with a cooling water channel for cooling the rails to eliminate this drawback.

An apparatus for filling a specified amount of liquid comprising a metering cylinder having a piston therein, a vertical filling nozzle having an opening at its lower end and forcibly chargeable with a liquid from the metering cylinder by the operation of the piston, a damper for opening and closing the opening of the filling nozzle, a spring biasing the damper so as to hold the damper closed against the gravity acting on the liquid filling the nozzle while the damper is closed with the charging discontinued although permitting the damper to be opened with the pressure of the liquid forcibly charged into the filling nozzle from the metering cylinder, and a closing device adapted to act on the damper in its open state to close the damper when the charging of the liquid is discontinued and adapted to be brought out of action transmitting relation with the damper so as to permit the spring only to hold the damper closed before the charging of the liquid is subsequently started. The closing device includes bumper for mitigating the impact acting on the damper and a damper operating member when the damper is closed.

Apparatus for filling specified amount of liquid

An easily openable sealed container comprising a rectangular parallelepipedal main body and a caplike reinforcing cover fitted over the top end of the main body. The top wall of the main body is provided with an opening forming thin wall portion. The cover has a top wall provided with an aperture opposed to the thin wall portion and an externally threaded spout projecting upward from the aperture-defining edge portion of the wall. A cap nut screwed on the spout has integral therewith a cutter for cutting the thin wall portion.

Easily openable sealed container

A sealed paper container filled with contents has a trunk of square to rectangular cross section. The trunk has a horizontal breakable portion formed in its three side walls close to their upper ends and removable by tearing by hand. The remaining side wall is provided at the same level as the breakable portion with a portion for forming a joint between the container body and the closure to be formed by removing the breakable portion. The breakable portion and the joint forming portion serve as a boundary to provide a closure forming portion thereabove and a container body forming portion therebelow. The container body forming portion has an engaging member secured to the inner side of its upper end, extending along the three side walls and projecting upward therefrom for engaging the closure to be formed by removing the breakable portion. The upward projection of the engaging member extends along the lower end of the closure forming portion on the inner side thereof.

Sealed paper container

A sealed container comprising a body having a rectangular to square cross section, and an upper reinforcement frame, an intermediate reinforcement frame and a lower reinforcement frame fitting around the body and spaced apart from one another, each of the frames being in the form of a ring conforming to the outer periphery of the body. The intermediate reinforcement frame comprises segments removably joined to one another and including one or two handle forming segments. The handle forming segment is approximately U-shaped when seen from above. The upper reinforcement frame has an upper segment attaching portion, and the lower reinforcement frame has a lower segment attaching portion positioned below the upper attaching portion, so that the handle forming segment(s) can be attached to and interconnect the upper and lower reinforcement frames.

Sealed container

A packaging machine comprising an endless conveyor, a mandrel wheel disposed above the starting end of the path of transport of the conveyor and having mandrels, a closed main chamber enclosing the conveyor and the mandrel wheel entirely, a series of devices arranged on the top wall of the main chamber from the rear to the front in succession for making tubular blanks into containers by closing one end of each blank to form the bottom of the container, filling contents into the bottomed blank and thereafter closing the other end of the blank to form the top of the container, the series of devices having portions operative on the blank and extending into the main chamber, and a closed subchamber disposed to the rear of the main chamber and communicating therewith, the subchamber having installed therein a blank sterilizer and a blank transfer assembly for transferring tubular blanks from a blank shaping-feeding unit to the blank sterilizer and for transferring sterilized tubular blanks from the sterilizer to the mandrel wheel. The device for filling contents into the bottomed blank includes a filling nozzle and a liquid conduit disposed therebelow which is rotatably mounted so as to be able to be positioned to receive contents passed through the filling nozzle.

A pressure relief valve for a blood pressure measuring instrument which is provided with a discharge mechanism for selectively discharging a small or large amount of compressed air. The discharge mechanism of simple structure is constituted from a small number of members including a valve member, a spring, an adjustment screw plug and a push button. A cuff pressure is automatically reduced at the predetermined reducing rate by rotating the adjustment screw plug during the measurement of blood pressure. Pushing of the push button also makes it possible to discharge at once the remaining cuff pressure after the measurement of blood pressure.

Device for use in measurement of blood pressure, according to the intermediate blood pressure measuring method of RIVA ROCCI, which detects negative signals of Korotkoff sound pulses comprised in asymmetrical alternating current signal waves coming from a ceramic microphone through a band pass filter and a half-wave rectifier, and indicates the presence of the Korotkoff sound after shaping the negative signals in a monostable multivibrator.

Device for measuring blood pressure

A sphygmomanometer cuff adapted to be easily applicable to any limb of a patient by himself. The cuff comprises an elongated flexible double layered fabric strap holding an inflatable pouch with tubes to be connected at the outside of the strap to a sphygmomanometer and to an air pump, and having a length sufficient to wrap by about one and a half to two turns round the patient's limb. A loop shaped rigid member is fitted at one longitudinal end of the strap, and received in the other longitudinal end thereof is a resiliently compressible rod like member. The rod like member can be forced through the loop shaped rigid member and prevents the strap from withdrawing from the loop shaped rigid member. A pair of female and male adhesive tapes are provided on the strap and are spaced apart by a distance permitting superimposing for fastening when the strap is wrapped round a patient's limb so as to stop the flow of blood through the arteries.
