Stop member for slide fastener includes: a main body having first and second surfaces; a first superficial region formed at a side of the first surface of the main body; and a slit or interface interposed between the first and second surfaces of the main body. The first superficial region extends over and covers the slit or interface, and has a thickness defined between the first surface and an end of the slit or interface at the side of the first surface.

Fastener stringer includes a fastener tape provided with a fastener element; and a stop part arranged at an end of the fastener tape. The stop part includes: a magnetic body; an encapsulating member encapsulating the magnetic body; and an injection-molded portion that at least partially covers or surrounds the encapsulating member encapsulating the magnetic body. At least the encapsulating member hinders heat from being transferred to the magnetic body while the injection-molded portion is formed.

Fastener stringer, method for manufacturing same, and slide fastener

A slide fastener chain includes a first tape and a second tape. A row of coupling elements is fixed along an inner edge of the first tape. A row of coupling elements is fixed along an inner edge of the second tape. The coupling elements of the first and second tapes being arranged such that the coupling elements of the first tape interdigitate with coupling elements of the second tape so as to secure the first and second tapes together. The chain includes a bottom stop. At least one of the tapes is provided with an extension portion which extends beyond a bottom stop portion of the tape. A width of the extension portion is less than a width of a portion of the tape which does not form part of the extension portion.

Slide fastener chain

A top end stop is provided to adjoin a fastener element row, and a projecting portion is formed on an inner side face of a main body such that the projecting portion projects sideway, so as to form a concave portion in which a flange of a slider invades. A projecting piece thinner than the projecting portion is located in the concave portion such that the projecting piece extends from a contact face of the projecting portion to the inner side face of the main body in a triangular shape while its front end is inclined. Consequently, the flange presses the top end stop against a tape face by sliding of the slider, the top end stop itself is reinforced, the longitudinal pulling strength is improved, and a step between the main body and the projecting portion is smoothed, whereby a top end stop favorably tactile to the skin is produced.
