An imaging device support structure includes a master flange having an opening portion through which an optical axis passes, an imaging device which is directly or indirectly attached to the master flange and is positioned in the opening portion as viewed in an optical axis direction, and a shielding member which shields a gap between the master flange and the imaging device in the opening portion. The shielding member includes a slit or a groove and is pressed against an opening edge of the opening portion.

A torque limiter includes a first rotatable body rotatable around a rotation shaft as a center of rotation; and a second rotatable body rotatable around the rotation shaft as a center of rotation. The first rotatable body includes one of a magnet and a hysteresis plate. The second rotatable body includes the other of the magnet and the hysteresis plate. The magnet and the hysteresis plate face each other. The first rotatable body and the second rotatable body are in contact with each other. No wall is provided between the rotation shaft and a contact area at which the first rotatable body and the second rotatable body are in contact with each other.

A magnetic recording and reproduction apparatus includes a sub chassis unit on which a cassette is mountable and having first and second reel stands respectively engageable with first reel and second reels of the cassette; a main chassis unit combined with the sub chassis unit and including a rotatable head cylinder used for information recording to, and/or information reproduction from, a magnetic tape; and an idler mounted on the main chassis unit for driving the first and second reel stands. The sub chassis unit further includes a reel lock release member for unlocking a reel lock member of the cassette; a light emitting device for emitting light for detecting a leading end and a trailing end of the magnetic tape; and a section for allowing the idler to be mounted on the main chassis unit after the sub chassis unit is combined with the main chassis unit.

A reel driving device includes a reel stand for driving a reel to rotate; and a latch including at least one contact portion contactable with the reel. The reel stand includes a convexed and concaved portion. The latch includes a claw portion for, when contacting the convexed and concaved portion, stopping a rotation of the convexed and concaved portion. While the reel stand rotates in a first direction, the latch moves in such a direction that the claw portion contacts the convexed and concaved portion by a rotation of the reel stand being conveyed to the at least one contact portion. While the reel stand rotates in a second direction, the latch moves in such a direction that the claw portion is separated from the convexed and concaved portion by a rotation of the reel stand being conveyed to the at least one contact portion.

A torque limiter of the present invention includes: a first rotor and a second rotor, the first and second rotors rotatable about a single center of rotation; a yoke board integrally formed with the first rotor; a magnet which is provided so as to be in contact with the yoke board; and a hysteresis board provided so as to be opposed to the magnet with a space therebetween, the hysteresis board is integrally formed with the second rotor and a washer having depression portions, protrusion portions, holes, or a combination thereof is provided between the first and second rotors.

An apparatus of the present invention is a magnetic recording/reproduction apparatus for pulling out a magnetic tape from a tape cassette, forming a predetermined tape drive system with a group of tape guide posts while winding the magnetic tape around a rotary head cylinder, having a rotary head, for a predetermined arc, so as to perform recording/reproduction of the magnetic tape. The group of tape guide posts include at least one inclination adjustment tape guide post whose inclination angle can be adjusted.
