A mower unit configured to be supported to a work vehicle at a position between front wheels and rear wheels, comprises a mower deck; at least one blade supported by the mower deck; a climb-up assist member in which an inclined surface is formed for assisting the wheels in climbing over the mower unit; and a connecting device for detachably connecting the climb-up assist member to the mower unit in a service position in which the inclined surface assists the wheels in climbing over the mower unit.

A riding mower comprises a raising and lowering mechanism (), the raising and lowering control lever (), and a PTO mechanism () operated by a clutch lever (). When the raising and lowering mechanism () reaches a predetermined height, a operatively connecting mechanism () transmits, to the raising and lowering control lever (), a return-to-neutral displacement for returning the raising and lowering control lever () to the neutral position, and transmits, to the clutch lever (), a disengaging displacement for returning the clutch lever () to the disengage position. A first adjusting operation member () adjusts a triggering displacement at which the raising and lowering displacement is transmitted to the raising and lowering control lever () as the return-to-neutral displacement. A second adjusting operation member () adjusts a triggering displacement at which the raising and lowering displacement is transmitted to the clutch lever () as the disengaging displacement.

Riding mower

A rear discharge type mower apparatus includes: a blade housing having a top plate, a front wall and at least one side wall and a first front guide plate and a second front guide plate. Each of the first and second front guide plates are located rearwardly of the front wall and have a shape extending substantially along a rotation path of a corresponding blade. The mower apparatus also includes a first auxiliary plate and a second auxiliary plate. A portion of the second auxiliary plate and the first auxiliary plate extend parallel to each other such that an opening that is opposed to a mowed grass discharge opening is formed by the rearward ends of the linear portion and the first auxiliary plate. The lower edges of the first and second auxiliary plates are closer to the top plate than the corresponding blade.

A rear discharge type mower apparatus comprising a blade housing having a top plate, a front wall and at least one side wall; a support shaft supported by the blade housing and extending vertically; a rotatable blade supported by the support shaft, a tip end of the blade forming a rotation path; and a guide plate located rearwardly of the front wall and having a shape extending along the rotation path of a corresponding blade, and forming an opening for ejecting cut grass rearwardly. The guide plate has a first end located in an upstream position with respect to a rotating direction of the corresponding blade, and a second end located in a downstream position with respect to the rotating direction of the corresponding blade; and an auxiliary plate extending from an area of the first end into inside the rotation path of the corresponding blade.

Rear discharge type mower apparatus

A mulching mower unit comprising a mower deck having a top plate, and a plurality of rotary blades arranged side by side inside the mower deck. A mulching baffle for providing at least part of boundary walls of a plurality of mulching chambers is detachably attached to the interior of the mower deck. A vertical guide wall constituting the mulching baffle has an inclined surface. A terminal end guide surface is formed in a terminal end portion of the vertical guide wall with respect to a direction of rotation of the rotary blade in a region around an opening for allowing the adjacent mulching chambers to communicate with each other, whereby grass clippings are deflected inwardly of the mulching chamber with which the terminal end guide surface is associated.

A mower tractor includes a vehicle body supported by a plurality of wheels; an engine mounted to the vehicle body; a mower suspended from the vehicle body; at least one grass collector bag for collecting grass cut by the mower; a grass collector bag holder supporting said at least one grass collector bag at a position on one side with respect to the engine; and a stopper portion for abutting against the grass collector bag so as to prevent the grass collector bag supported by the grass collector bag holder from moving toward the vehicle body.

A side discharge mower comprises, a mower deck having a top wall, a front wall depending from the top wall, at least one side wall, a rear wall depending from the top wall, and a discharge opening formed laterally of the mower deck, a first shaft supported by the mower deck and extending vertically, and a second shaft disposed closer than the first shaft to the discharge opening, a first blade rotatable about an axis of the first shaft so that distal ends thereof define a first circular path, a second blade rotatable about an axis of the second shaft so that distal ends thereof define a second circular path, a rear baffle disposed in a rear region of the mower deck, and an intermediate baffle extending from the rear baffle forward through an area adjacent a boundary between the first circular path and the second circular path, the intermediate baffle extending from the rear baffle forwardly beyond a line connecting the first shaft and the second shaft.

Side discharge mower

A riding-type mower includes a plurality of wheels, a body supported by the plurality of wheels, at least one draft link couplable at one end to the body, a pair of support links coupled at one end to the body and arranged rearwardly from the at least one draft link, and a mower unit whose front is supported from the body via the at least one draft link and whose rear is supported from the body by the pair of support links. The mower unit includes a mower deck having a front wall and a rear wall that extends substantially vertically, a plurality of blades housed in the mower deck each operable to rotate about a vertical axis, a balance arm coupled at two laterally spaced locations to the support links, and a shaft extending in a fore-and-aft direction and arranged at a position rearwardly of the rear wall of the mower deck within a vertical width of the rear wall, with the balance arm being swingably supported via the shaft about an axis of the shaft relative to the mower deck, such that the mower deck is rollably supported by the body about the axis of the shaft.

A grass collecting apparatus includes a grass collecting container support; at least one grass collecting container mounted on the container support and having an upper end opening edge for receiving mowed grass or the like through a conduit, a guide hood for covering the grass collecting container from the above, a support portion for supporting the guide hood while allowing its displacement from a closed position to an opened position; a fixed sealing plate provided to the grass collecting container support in the vicinity of the support portion; and a movable sealing plate provided to the guide hood in the vicinity of the support portion. The movable sealing plate is disposed in opposition to the fixed sealing plate, and a free end of the movable sealing plate displaceable in association with opening/closing displacement of the guide hood approaches the fixed sealing plate at least when the guide hood is at the closed position or the opened position.
