A radio-controlled timepiece in which its reception sensitivity is further enhanced. The radio-controlled timepiece includes: an antenna coremade of a magnetic material and formed as a single integrated body including a coiled portion () wound with a coiland extension portionsandwhich are located respectively on the end-portion sides; additional coresandmade of a magnetic material; magnetism-collection membersandmade of a magnetic material; a main plate(timepiece substrate) made of a non-magnetic material; a guide membermade of a non-magnetic material; and a liquid-crystal-panel supporting frame(magnetism-collection-member supporting members, pressing member) made of a non-magnetic material and having protrusionsand(pressing members) formed thereon. When the main plate, the guide member, and the liquid-crystal-panel supporting frameare assembled together, the protrusionsandpress the magnetism-collection members, respectively. Thus, the magnetism-collection membersandcome into contact respectively with the additional coresand, and, at the same time, the additional coresandcome into contact respectively with the extension portionsandof the antenna core. Accordingly an antenna-core body with a large single body is formed, which enhances the reception performance.

Radio-controlled timepiece and method of assembling the same

A pointer indication type timepiece, wherein three projecting portions () projecting from a shaft part () to an outer peripheral side and formed in such a shape that a cylinder is split into two parts along a central axis direction are disposed at a root portion () of the shaft part () of an hour wheel () at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the shaft part (). The projecting portions () engage with a circular hole () in a dial washer ().

Pointer indication type timepiece

A time keeping device of an electric timepiece comprising one motor that can rotate in the forward direction and the reverse direction, a branch mechanism, and a plurality of wheel trains that are branched by the branch mechanism, wherein the motor is rotated in the forward direction to drive one wheel train thereby to carry out a mechanical display, and is rotated in the reverse direction to drive the other wheel train thereby to carry out another mechanical display. The time keeping device further comprises a merge mechanism in addition to the branch mechanism, and a plurality of wheel trains that are branched by the branch mechanism and are merged by the merge mechanism. The motor is rotated in the forward direction to drive one wheel train thereby to carry out a mechanical display, and is rotated in the reverse direction to drive the other wheel train thereby to carry out another mechanical display.

Timer of electric timepiece

A time setting mechanism for a wristwatch having wheel train and time indicating hands driven by the wheel train, wherein first and second gear means are coaxially rotatable independently of one another, with the first gear means being drivably connected to a control stem and the second gear means being drivably connected to the wheel train. A shift gear is movable to engaging and disengaging positions by the action of a change-over means actuated by the control stem, to provide and interrupt drive connection between the first and second gear means.

An inspection machine for detecting flaws in the surface of cylindrical fuel pellets, which comprises a pellet infeed section for successively transporting pellets to be inspected, a conveyer section for successively conveying delivered pellets to a plurality of inspection points, a plurality of inspection stations for detecting, at each inspection point, flaws at the corners, peripheral surface and end faces of the pellets by utilizing variations in back pressure prevailing in a sensor caused by the contact of an air stream with said flaws, an unacceptable pellet rejection station for rejecting pellets assessed to be unacceptable at any inspection station, and an acceptable pellet outfeed section for successively collecting pellets assessed as being acceptable.
