A seat device includes a massage mechanism configured to massage a first muscle and a vibration generation mechanism configured to administer a vibratory stimulus having a frequency that causes muscle tone to a second muscle, the second muscle being an antagonist muscle of the first muscle.

Seat device

A seat device is provided with: a first air bag expanding and contracting inside a seat surface skin; a holding member for holding the first air bag and movable along the inner surface of the seat surface skin; a drive device for moving the holding member so as to change the arrangement of the first airbag; and a second air bag independent of the first air bag, the second air bag expanding inside the seat surface skin so as to press the seat surface skin to separate the seat surface skin from the first air bag.

A massage apparatus includes: a base; a first air bag and a second air bag, the first air bag and the second air bag vertically overlapped with each other, the first air bag being disposed on an upper side of the second air bag, and the first air bag and the second air bag being joined to each other at an overlapped site; an air injection and discharge section connected to the first air bag for injecting air into and discharging air from the first air bag; a coupling section including a through hole arranged to communicate the air bags with each other is provided at a site where the air bags is joined to each other; and a fixing section rotatably fixing the first air bag to the base provided on a portion of the first air bag, the portion being not overlapped with the second air bag.

Massage apparatus

Airbags each belonging to one of first and second control blocks are arranged below the thighs of an occupant seated on a seat seating surface (S). Specifically, the first and second control blocks are arranged such that the airbags belonging thereto are adjacent to one another in the seat width direction. Further, a seat device controls the airbags belonging to the first control block and the airbags belonging to the second control block to alternately expand and contract.

The present invention provides a multi-stage vacuum pump which includes: a housing in which a plurality of pumping chambers are formed, the pumping chambers being arranged in series and being in fluid communication with one another, one of the pumping chambers which is at one end of the series acting as an initial stage pumping chamber, another of the pumping chamber which is at the other end of the series acting as a final stage pumping chamber, the housing being provided with an inlet port for sucking a gas from a space to be evacuated into the initial stage pumping chamber, the housing being provided with an outlet port for exhausting the gas from the final stage pumping chamber; Roots-type pump sections occupying the respective pumping chambers, each of the Roots-type pump sections having a pair of intermeshed Roots-type profile rotors; and a pair of shafts adapted for rotation within the housing about their lengthwise axes in contra-rotational direction, the pair of shafts being secured to the respective Roots-type profile rotors in each of the Roots-type pump sections, one end of each of the shafts being made immovable in its lengthwise direction, the other of each of the shafts being made expandable in its lengthwise direction.
