Electronic apparatus

An electronic device having a portable information equipment and an expansion unit is disclosed. The portable information equipment can be a tablet PC and the expansion unit is configured to expand a function of the tablet PC. The expansion unit includes an attachment part having a hook configured to be movable in an engagement direction from a non-engagement position to an engagement position, in the non-engagement position. The hook can be inserted into an engagement hole disposed at an attached part of the tablet PC in the engagement position. The hook can be further movable in a pulling direction of pulling the tablet PC towards the expansion unit, with the pulling direction being orthogonal to the engagement direction. A lever is utilized to move the hook in the engagement direction and in the pulling direction.

Methods and devices are provided for aligning a display with a keyboard. In one exemplary embodiment, a device is provided that includes a lid and a based hingedly connected together to allow the computing device to be opened and closed. When the device is opened, the lid can be configured to automatically move relative to the base. In this way, a display included in the lid can be moved relative to a keyboard included in the base to align to display and the keyboard in an optimal orientation relative to one another, e.g., with the display centered relative to a center of an alphanumeric portion of the keyboard.

Devices and methods for aligning a display with a keyboard

The invention provides large, vertically elongated keyboard keys strategically chosen and positioned above the alphanumeric section of a standard keyboard (e.g. a laptop PC keyboard) to provide a more ergonomic keyboard arrangement. The invention provides for keys that appropriately address the needs of touch typists when striking frequently used keys located above the alphanumeric section of the keyboard.

A drawer structure of a rod-shaped body, which does not require a complicated inner structure, is provided. In a present preferred embodiment, a structure draws a rod-shaped body out of a housing for housing the rod-shaped body. A guide for holding the rod-shaped body so that the rod-shaped body can be rotated about an axis and slid in the direction of the axis, and an encasing surface which crosses at a predetermined angle to the axis of the rod-shaped body are formed on the housing side. Portable computer

A portable computer having a decorative cover is disclosed. The portable computer includes a main housing and a display side housing. The display side housing is openably and closably attached to the main housing. Several apertures for forced air cooling are formed in a bottom and a side of the main housing. The decorative cover is configured to cover surfaces of the display side housing and the main housing. A tray having a flat plate member and a spacer are attached to the bottom of the main housing. The spacer is configured to secure a predetermined space between the flat plate member and the bottom of the main housing to form an air flow passage for allowing outside air to pass through the apertures. The spacer is arranged between the decorative cover and the bottom of the main housing.

The objective of the present invention is to provide a washing machine capable of removing earth/sand, waste thread, dust and the like stuck to the washing.
