An optical path deflecting prism for endoscope which is used for observing an object in an oblique direction, includes a first prism and a second prism, and the first prism and the second prism are cemented. The first prism has a first polished surface and a second polished surface. The first reflecting surface is a mirror surface having a mirror coating applied to a polished surface of a flat plate, and is fixed by gluing to the fifth polished surface of the second prism upon adjusting an angle so as to correct an optical-axis shift which occurs due to a manufacturing error of the first prism and the second prism.

There is provided a camera head for endoscope which enables to achieve a favorable fluorescent image in any wavelength band when the observation is switched over from a normal white-light image observation to an observation of fluorescent images of different wavelength bands. An endoscope optical system unit includes an endoscope illuminating optical system and an endoscope objective optical system. The endoscope illuminating optical system includes a light-emitting section and a first optical-path deflecting prism group, which includes a first prism, a second prism, and a third prism. The endoscope objective optical system includes a lens group and a second optical-path deflecting prism group, which includes a fourth prism, a fifth prism, and a sixth prism. A direction of irradiation of illumination light by the endoscope illuminating optical system, and a visual field direction of the endoscope objective optical system, are variable by rotation of the prisms.

Endoscope optical system unit

An endoscope objective optical system includes an optical-path deflecting prism group and a lens group. A visual-field direction of the endoscope objective optical system is variable by moving a prism in the optical-path deflecting prism group. The optical-path deflecting prism group includes, in order from an object side, a first prism, a second prism, and a third prism, which are disposed to be in mutual proximity. The visual-field direction is variable to a first direction by the first prism undergoing a rotational movement with respect to the second prism, and the visual-field direction is variable to a second direction which differs from the first direction, by the first prism and the second prism undergoing rotational movement integrally with respect to the third prism.

Provided is an endoscope objective optical system that allows close-up observation while ensuring sufficient image brightness. Provided is an endoscope objective optical system consisting of a front group, an aperture stop, and a back group disposed in order from an object side; and a meniscus lens that can be inserted in and removed from an optical path between the aperture stop and the front group or the back group, with a convex surface thereof facing the aperture stop side.

There is disclosed an operation microscope in which an observing and displaying system of an operating instrument are selected, and an endoscope image for observing a dead angle of the microscope and a navigation image are selectively displayed in a microscope observation field, so that a tomographic image, three-dimensionally constructed image, and the like can be selectively displayed in a display screen in accordance with a treatment position displayed in a monitor or an observation position of the operation microscope.

A stereoscopic observation system includes a stereoscopic image pick up apparatus to pick up left and right images at an inward angle, a stereoscopic image display apparatus to transmit the left and right images picked up by the stereoscopic image pick up apparatus to an observer so that the images are stereoscopically observed at a convergence angle, a convergence angle change portion provided in the stereoscopic image display apparatus and to change the convergence angle, a recognition portion to recognize the stereoscopic image pick up apparatus, and a control portion to control the convergence angle change portion on the basis of the result of the recognition in the recognition portion so that the convergence angle is substantially equal to the inward angle.

Stereoscopic observation system

A surface mount-type vibration motor and an installation structure for a surface mount-type vibration motor, where soldered portions are prevented from separating from a circuit board without requiring any design change in a vibration motor body. A section where a motor holding section of a motor holder and motor support sections of the motor holder are connected is bent in an arc shape having elasticity to form the motor holder, the motor holding section holding a vibration motor body to which an elastic holder is attached, the motor support sections being arranged along a circuit board. First contact sections and second contact sections are formed in the connection section such that distal ends of the first and second contact sections are of a band-like shape projecting toward the inside of the vibration motor body. The motor holder reduces a load applied to portions where the surface mount-type vibration motor is soldered to the circuit board and also improves bonding strength.

A medical stereo observation system includes a stereo imaging unit producing a first image for a left eye and a second image for a right eye that mutually have parallax and a stereo display unit capable of displaying stereoscopically the images produced by the stereo imaging unit. The stereo imaging unit has a first imaging optical system producing the first image for the left eye and a second imaging optical system producing the second image for the right eye, and focal positions of these imaging optical systems are located far away from the intersection of optical axes of the imaging optical systems, viewed from the stereo imaging unit. Whereby, a large-depth space can be comfortably observed in a wide range and a viewer can observe an observation object without bringing about a feeling of fatigue.

Medical stereo observation system

The present invention provides a system including a stereoscopic endoscope having left and right image pickup units for picking up parallactic images of an object through objective lenses laterally arranged at a distance from each other and CCDs laterally arranged at a distance from each other. In the stereoscopic endoscope, the focal distance is variable by moving focusing lenses. A display control unit is constructed so as to mask image pickup areas in left and right images display in left and right display elements on the basis of information regarding the distance to an object, the image pickup areas being picked up-only by one of the left and right image pickup units. Thus, images corresponding to an area that is picked up in common by both the left and right image pickup units are displayed.

Stereoscopic-endoscope display control apparatus and stereoscopic endoscope system

A fixing structure capable of adjusting the dimensions in the vertical direction of a vibration generating device including a circuit board in combination with the circuit board without reducing the size or the diameter of the vibration generation device. A fixing holder in a holder shape for holding or including at least a part of the outer circumference of a vibration generating device has an inner circumferential surface substantially identical to the external shape of the vibration generating device. Groove-like rail parts are provided partially in the outer circumferential surface of the holder at the opposite ends thereof in the same linear direction, and the side end part of a notched circuit board or a part on the housing side of the apparatus is inserted into each of the groove-like rail parts, thus holding and securing the vibration generating device at an arbitrary vertical position against the surface of the circuit board in the apparatus.

The three-dimensional observation system of the present invention comprises an image picking-up part which has a parallax with respect to the object of observation and captures two images of the object of observation, an image display part which respectively displays the two images of the object of observation captured by the image picking-up part, and an optical system which is used to guide the two images of the object of observation displayed by the image display part to respective position in front of the left and right eyes of the observer facing the object of observation, such that the parallax direction of the image picking-up part and the parallax direction of the observer coincide, thus causing a three-dimensional image to be displayed.
