A cannula device including: a nasal cannula having nasal pipes; respiration-gas flow tubes connected to the nasal cannula; an adaptor pipe communicated with the respiration-gas flow tubes; a connector pipe removably attached to the adaptor pipe; and a respiration-gas supplying tube connected to the connector pipe, in the cannula device, one of the adaptor pipe and the connector pipe is a female member having a receiving part and the other is a male member having an inserting part; and the male member is removably inserted into the female part, and the cannula device further including: a ring-shape part formed on a base-end part of the inserting part as a protruding ridge or a recessed groove extending on whole circumference of the inserting part; and a lock piece formed on the receiving part, having a projection part locking the ring-shape part of the inserting part inserted in the receiving part.

Cannula device

An incubator having a cassette tray accommodation space which allows for a cassette tray to be readily stored in or taken out of the space through one of a plurality of tray loading or unloading ports. The cassette tray accommodation space includes at least two of the following: a front tray loading or unloading port, a rear tray loading or unloading port, a left tray loading or unloading port, and a right tray loading or unloading port.

A gas supply mask apparatus comprises a mask main body which can be put on a mask wearer relatively simply and relatively reliably by extending a head-worn band such as an elastic bandage relatively simply and relatively reliably over the head of the mask wearer even when there is no head-worn string such as a rubber string at hand. A string attaching short hole and band attaching long hole are formed in each of the left and right end portions of the outer peripheral portion of the mask main body.

Gas supply mask apparatus

A gas supply mask apparatus allows a mask wearer to inhale a gas such as oxygen gas such that air in a mask main body does not much mix in the gas approaching substantially lower ends and the vicinities of the nostrils of the mask wearer in the mask main body. In this gas supply mask apparatus, a gas introduction opening for introducing a gas such as oxygen gas and water vapor into the mask main body includes a first gas introduction opening capable of introducing the gas in, e.g., a bundle-like state into the mask main body, and a second gas introduction opening capable of introducing the second gas into the mask main body so as to surround, in a substantially ring-like state, the above-mentioned, first gas in a bundle-like state introduced into the mask main body from the first gas introduction opening.

An incubator is provided that prevents damage to the arm of an operator when an arm abuts against the upper end segment of a baby guard relatively hard while inserting the arm into an infant accommodation space. The walls of the baby guards around the infant accommodation space have bent segments that are sufficiently strong to serve as a guard structure on the periphery of the infant accommodation space. Each of the bent segments in the upper end segments of the walls includes an inclined segment and a substantially horizontal segment integrally connected to a distal end of the inclined segment. At least some of the walls can pivot between upward and downward positions, thereby closing or revealing cassette trays.

A gas supply mask apparatus has low possibility that a gas rising in a mask main body will flow out from the upper end and the surrounding vicinity of the mask main body and give discomfort to the eyes of a mask wearer. In this gas supply mask apparatus, an angle formed between a direction in which a gas introduction opening faces and a virtual vertical plane facing right frontways falls within the range of 30&#xb0; to 60&#xb0; (preferably, the range of 35&#xb0; to 55&#xb0;, and more preferably, the range of 40&#xb0; to 50&#xb0;) when the mask main body is viewed right sideways.

A light-beam therapeutic apparatus for ensuring patient safety. The light-beam therapeutic apparatus includes an apparatus body portion having a light source; a light guide rod that guides light from the light source, a connecting socket, a cooling fan, an electronic component that performs control required for a therapy, and a control display panel that displays contents of the therapy; a therapeutic portion including a light guide portion including a plurality of bundled optical fibers, and a pad portion formed of the optical fibers spread out adjacently to one another into a flat-panel shape. The therapeutic portion is formed into a light-receiving plug that is insertable into a connecting socket of the apparatus body portion. The light-receiving plug is configured to be kept in a coupled state by an attracting action of a permanent magnet provided on a side of the connecting socket.

Light-beam therapeutic apparatus

A light-beam therapeutic apparatus used for a therapy for neonatal hyperbilirubinemia is disclosed, which includes an apparatus body portion having a light source; a light guide rod that guides light from the light source, a connecting socket, a cooling fan, an electronic component that performs control required for a therapy, and a control display panel that displays the contents of therapy; a therapeutic portion including a light guide portion including a plurality of bundled optical fibers, and a pad portion formed of the optical fibers spread out adjacently to one another into a flat-panel shape, and the therapeutic portion is formed into a light-receiving plug insertable into a connecting socket of the apparatus body portion, and the optical fibers positioned on the pad portion are subjected to exposing processing and have a protecting surface layer portion formed of a bag member filled with transparent and highly flexible high-molecular gel.

An infant incubator including: a left-side treatment door, a right-side treatment door, and an end-side treatment door which are rotatably held, and door-locking devices which fixes the left-side and right-side treatment doors on the end-side treatment door; the door-locking devices are formed from: open-close knobs each mounted rotatably on the left-side and right-side treatment doors and each having a hook-shaped distal end, and knob brackets each mounted on side of the end-side treatment doors having a hollow-shape, the infant incubator in which the treatment doors are fixed in a stand state by inserting the open-close knob into the knob bracket.

A light-emitting diode (LED) therapeutic apparatus includes a body portion formed of a light-weight resin material into a rectangular housing; a printed circuit board including a plurality of LEDs having different emission colors mounted linearly in a plurality of rows at required intervals; a thermal radiating plate provided with a plurality of thermal radiating studs formed of a light-weight thermally conductive material; and a transparent plate mounted on an opening surface of the body portion. The thermal radiating plate is mounted in tight contact in the body portion, and the printed circuit board is mounted in tight contact with the heat radiating studs. The heat generated by the LEDs is radiated from the surface of the body portion via the thermal radiating plate from the thermal radiating studs. The LEDs may be maintained to a junction allowable temperature or lower so that a long life span without noise is achieved.

An infant incubator including: an infant chamber in which an infant is placed; an air-supply passage for supplying supply-air to the infant chamber; and a heater equipment for heating the supply-air having a mount base which is mounted in the air-supply passage and a heater which is held to the mount base rotatably, wherein the heater has: a support part provided at a base end of the heater and supported by the mount base rotatably; and a heating part provided at a top end of the heater and heating the supply-air, and the heating part is formed by winding a heating-wire into a coil-shape and disposed so that an axial direction of the coil-shape is orthogonal to a flow direction of the supply-air passing through the air-supply passage.

An infant incubator including: an infant chamber isolated from external air; a conditioning bath communicating with the infant chamber; an air-conditioning equipment circulating air in the infant chamber through the conditioning bath; a fan provided at the air-conditioning equipment and moving air in the conditioning bath; a heater provided at the air-conditioning equipment and heating the air in the conditioning bath; a humidifier provided at the air-conditioning equipment, removably installed on a constructional member of the conditioning bath, and supplying water-vapor to the air in the conditioning bath; and a channel member for supplying water-vapor removably installed on a water-vapor introduction port penetrating the constructional member of the conditioning bath, and connecting the humidifier and the conditioning bath, in this infant incubator, the channel member for supplying water-vapor closes the water-vapor introduction port when the humidifier is removed, and opens the water-vapor introduction port when the humidifier is installed.

An infant incubator including: a bed of an infant; a first supporting-shaft disposed obliquely above the bed, extends substantially horizontally, and rotatable back and forth at a predetermined extent around an axis; a rotation stay fixed to and rotated with the first supporting-shaft; a second supporting-shaft provided with the rotation stay and parallel to the first supporting-shaft; and a heater disposed obliquely above the bed, attached to the rotation stay rotatably back and forth at a predetermined extent around the second supporting-shaft, and configured to emit a heat ray obliquely to an upper surface of the bed, wherein a position of the heater can be varied between a heating position for emitting the heat ray and a folding position for moving away from above the bed; and at the heating position, an emission angle of the heat ray from the heater is further varied.

A hand insertion door board is attached to the peripheral portion of each hand insertion window formed in an outside portion of a newborn infant container of an incubator. A holding portion is formed on one side portion of the hand insertion door board in the lateral direction. A bracket which pivotally supports a support shaft having a vertical axis is attached to the holding portion. A latch lever is pivotally supported by the support shaft of the bracket. A press lever which releases latching operation of the latch lever is pivotally attached by using the support shaft of the bracket. When the press lever is pressed against the biasing force of a compression coil spring, the press lever presses projecting pieces of the latch lever to make the latch lever pivot about the support shaft to the release position.

According to the present invention, a movable wall portion for forming the outer circumference of an infant accommodation space can pivot forward about a portion of a region including the lower end portion and its vicinity of the movable wall portion from a substantially erect position to the outside of the infant accommodation space. The movable wall portion can move backward from a midway position in forward movement to the final backward moving position by its own weight while abrupt backward movement is suppressed by a damper. The present invention can provide a movable wall portion attachment mechanism of an incubator which does not produce a large sound or a large vibration when closing the movable wall portion, with a small chance that wall portions such as wall portions on the incubator base side, the movable wall portion or the like will be damaged.
