Examples of a relay are described, with which the characteristics of the relay such as the operating voltage can be prevented from changing, even when impact is applied to the relay. The relay has an electromagnet, an armature which pivots about a pivot axis by excitation of the electromagnet, a pressing member attached to a tip of the armature, and a terminal which is pressed by the pressing member, wherein the armature comprises a plate-like insertion part which extends in a direction parallel to the pivot axis, and a guide groove provided in the insertion part and which extends in a direction parallel to the pivot axis, and the pressing member comprises an enclosure which is open on one end, and a part of the enclosure is inserted into the guide groove.

Relay

Provided is a relay, with which an insulation distance can be maintained while preventing an increase in size of the relay. The relay has a coil, an iron core, an armature which moves by excitation of the coil, a contact terminal which displaces in accordance with the movement of the armature, a pressing member which is attached to the armature and which presses the contact terminal, and a base block having a wall arranged between a first area in which the coil and the iron core are arranged, and a second area in which the contact terminal and the pressing member are arranged, wherein the armature comprises a first portion arranged in the first area and a second portion extending from the first portion and arranged in the second area, and the pressing member is affixed to the second portion.

Relay having insulation distance between electromagnet and contacts

Provided is a terminal of a relay constituted by an assembly of a plurality of members, with which plastic deformation can be prevented, and a relay including the terminal. A movable terminal of the relay is constituted by an assembly of a first member having two legs, and a second member having a contact, wherein the second member has at least three holes, the first member has at least three protrusions which are individually inserted into and crimped in the at least three holes, and an intermediate hole among the at least three holes is arranged so as to be positioned on the side opposite the contact with respect to a straight line that contacts the edges of the outermost holes on the side close to the contact.

Terminal and relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a movable terminal including a movable contact, a fixed terminal including a fixed contact that faces the movable contact, first irons disposed on one of the fixed terminal and the movable terminal, and a second iron disposed on another one of the fixed terminal and the movable terminal such that the second iron at least partially overlaps both of the first irons.

An electromagnetic relay including: an electromagnet; a movable spring having a movable contact; a first terminal to which one end of the movable spring is connected; a second terminal having a fixed contact opposite to the movable contact; an actuator that rotates by excitation of the electromagnet, rotates the movable spring, and causes the movable contact to come in contact with the fixed contact or to separate from the fixed contact; a nonmagnetic card to be attached to the actuator; a plurality of magnetic members that sandwich the movable contact and the fixed contact, and apply a magnetic flux to the movable contact and the fixed contact to extend an arc; and a permanent magnet attached between the magnetic members.

An electromagnetic relay including: a fixed terminal that includes a fixed contact; a movable spring that includes a movable piece on which a first through-hole is formed; a conductive plate that includes a second through-hole; a movable contact that includes a head part that is in contact with and is separated from the fixed contact, and a leg part that is inserted into the first through-hole and the second through-hole; wherein the conductive plate is disposed between the head part and the movable spring, in a radial direction of the first through-hole and the second through-hole, the head part does not protrude from an outer edge of the conductive plate but protrudes from the outer edge of the movable piece.

An electromagnetic relay includes a base, a fixed contact terminal including a fixed contact, and fixed to the base, a movable contact terminal including a movable contact that contacts the fixed contact, an electromagnet that generates a magnetic field when an electric current flows through a coil wrapped around an iron core, an armature connected to the movable contact terminal, and moved by a magnetic force generated in the electromagnet, a yoke including a vertical part, and a horizontal part connected to the iron core, and a bottom plate formed of an insulator, and covering a surface of the horizontal part facing away from the iron core. The bottom plate includes a yoke insertion part into which the horizontal part is inserted in a direction parallel to the horizontal part.

An electromagnetic relay includes a spool in which a coil is wound around its outer peripheral surface, and a magnetic core is inserted in its inside; a yoke arranged along the spool; and an insulating member provided between a first member including the coil, and second members including a fixed contact portion, a movable contact portion, an armature and the yoke to contribute to insulation between the first member and the second members, wherein the insulating member is provided with an opening portion at a portion that does not face the second members, and the spool is inserted in the insulating member from the opening portion to be placed in the insulating member.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact portion including a fixed contact; a movable contact portion including a movable contact that contacts the fixed contact; and an electromagnetic device that operates the movable contact portion so that the movable contact contacts the fixed contact, and includes an armature that adsorbs to a magnetic core surface of the electromagnetic device and operates the movable contact portion by rotating with respect to a fulcrum, a hinge spring that pushes a part of the armature at an opposite side of the magnetic core surface while interposing the fulcrum therebetween so that the armature moves away from the magnetic core surface, and a fixed member that fixes an end portion of the hinge spring while having outside of a side surface of the armature as a fixed position, and wherein the fixed member is configured to fix the end portion of the hinge spring by moving the hinge spring from an upper side to a lower side of the armature, when attaching the hinge spring.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact having a fixed contact plate and a fixed contact point mounted to the fixed contact plate, a movable contact having a movable contact plate and a movable contact point mounted to the movable contact plate, and an electromagnet device configured to move the movable contact so as to bring the movable contact point in contact with the fixed contact point, wherein a contact plate that is at least one of the fixed contact plate and the movable contact plate has a contact area, the contact area being thinner than other areas of the contact plate and having a penetrating hole formed therethrough, and the contact point of the contact plate has a head and a shaft, and wherein while the shaft is placed in the penetrating hole such that the head is mounted on a first surface of the contact area, an end of the shaft is deformed with a force at a second surface opposite the first surface to mount the contact point to the contact plate.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact corresponding to the fixed contact, a movable element that retains the movable contact and moves in a contacting direction and a separating direction relative to the fixed contact, an axial core coupled to the movable element, a movable core coupled to the axial core to move in the contacting direction and the separating direction relative to a movement of the axial core, a driving part that drives the movable core in the contacting direction, an urging part that exerts force to the axial core in the separating direction, and a constraining part that constrains the relative movement of the axial core in the separating direction.

An electromagnetic relay includes: a pair of fixed contact terminals, each of which has a fixed contact; a movable contact spring having a pair of movable pieces and a coupler coupling the pair of movable pieces, each of the movable pieces having a movable contact that contacts and is separated from the fixed contact; an armature having a flat plate to be adsorbed to an iron core and a hanging portion bent from the flat plate and extending downward, and moves the movable contact spring by a rotation operation; and an electromagnetic device driving the armature, wherein the hanging portion has a projection to fix the movable contact spring on a face thereof facing the electromagnetic device and a pulling portion that extends downward more than the projection and pulls the movable contact spring when a current flows between the fixed contact and the movable contact.

A polarized electromagnetic relay including an electromagnet; a pair of magnetic pole pieces driven by the electromagnet; a permanent magnet attached to the magnetic pole pieces; a contact section including a first fixed contact member with a normally open fixed contact, a first movable contact member with a normally open movable contact, a second fixed contact member with a normally closed fixed contact, and a second movable contact member with a normally closed movable contact; and a transmission member to which the magnetic pole pieces is attached. In accordance with a rectilinear movement of the magnetic pole pieces in parallel to a coil center axis, the transmission member rectilinearly moves in parallel to the center axis and thereby causes the normally open and closed movable contacts to perform an opening or closing operation in a mutually interlocked manner.

Polarized electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a contact part including a fixed contact and a movable contact, the movable contact being displaceable in an approaching/separating direction with respect to the fixed contact; a drive part including a coil, a movable core, and a fixed core, the movable core being connected to the movable contact via an axial core, and the fixed core including a first plate member having a through hole through which the axial core is inserted and a second plate member that encapsulates the coil; and a permanent magnet polarized in a direction substantially perpendicular to the approaching/separating direction. The first plate member or the second plate member includes an extension part that extends toward the contact part, the extension part being configured to hold the permanent magnet.

An electromagnetic relay includes a contact that includes a fixed contact and a movable contact, a permanent magnet provided on the peripheral side of the contact, and a non-magnetic body. The movable contact is displaceable in a first direction to move toward the fixed contact and in a second direction to move away from the fixed contact. The permanent magnet has a polarity direction perpendicular to the first and second directions. The non-magnetic body faces toward the direction of a Lorentz force that acts based on the permanent magnet in a direct electric current flowing through the contact.
