The present invention relates to a copper-based sintered slide member comprising 0.5 to 20% by weight of tin, 0.1 to 35% by weight of manganese, 2 to 25% by weight of a solid lubricant and the balance essentially consisting of copper; and a multilayer copper-based sintered slide member comprising a copper-based alloy sintered layer and a metal backing plate which are formed into an integral multilayer structure, wherein the copper-based alloy sintered layer comprises 0.5 to 20% by weight of tin, 0.1 to 35% by weight of manganese, 2 to 25% by weight of a solid lubricant and the balance essentially consisting of copper. The above slide members are in the form of a lead-free copper-based sintered slide member. The copper-based sintered slide member can exhibit sliding characteristics similar to or higher than those of lead-containing copper-based sintered slide members and can be suitably used as an oil-containing sintered slide member, and can also be suitably used even under conditions in high-temperature ranges and/or under dry frictional conditions in which it may be difficult to use a lubrication oil, and a multilayer sintered slide member capable of exhibiting excellent sliding characteristics even under high-load conditions.

Copper based sintered slide member

A synthetic resin bearing comprised of synthetic resin-made upper and lower bearing cases and a synthetic resin-made bearing member having a disk-shaped thrust bearing piece and a hollow-cylindrical radial bearing piece with a radially extending slit. The bearing member is disposed such that the radial bearing piece is kept in sliding contact with an outer peripheral surface of a hollow cylindrical portion of the lower bearing case, and the thrust bearing piece is kept in sliding contact with a bottom of an annular recess formed in the lower bearing case. The upper bearing case is assembled to the lower bearing case such that an annular engaging hook portion is snappingly fitted over an annular engaging projecting portion of the lower bearing case. Hermetically sealing portions due to labyrinth action are formed between the upper and lower bearing cases, respectively at the snappingly fitting portion, at an engaging portion between an annular suspended portion of the upper bearing case and an annular groove in the lower bearing case, and at an engaging portion between an annular groove in the upper bearing case and an annular projection of the lower bearing case.

The character recognition equipment according to the present invention is composed of an input unit group which processes in image in a plurality of window regions that are set on a character image, a feature unit group which performs calculation on values obtained by adding thresholds to the output values therefrom, and an output unit group which performs calculation on values obtained by multiplying output values from the feature unit group and adding the thresholds to the sum total thereof. Here, the thresholds and the weights can be adjusted automatically with an actual object image.
