Embodiments of the present invention provide a data storage system that reduces a load of a data bus for connecting a HOST system with the data storage system. A method for applying the above-described two-part curable adhesive composition to a dental area is provided, comprising: dissolving said radical polymerizable acrylate or methacrylate monomer in said solvent to form said solution (i); applying said solution (i) to a dental area; removing said solvent from said applied solution to form a coated area; mixing said components (P), (Q) and (R) with said component (S) to form said composition (ii); applying said composition (ii) to said coated area immediately after mixing to form a coating, and curing said coating.

An optical character reader apparatus is provided to optically read characters written on a document card to extract as a word a character group compared with previously registered words. Such a word is compared for each character constituting that word. When the number of constituent characters constituting the extracted word is greater than a prescribed number, a judgement is made as to whether or not each constituent character is a vowel, and, if so, is removed and, if otherwise, subsequently compared with respect to characters other than vowels. As a result, a word which is found to have the largest number of coincident characters to previously registered words, is selected as a candidate word and delivered as the word read from the document card.

A miniature tape cassette comprises an integral one-piece drawn sheet metal casing having an upper wall, a lower wall and side walls, one side of the casing being opened. Aligned holes are provided in the upper and lower walls of the casing rotatably to receive hub portions of tape spools on which a magnetic tape is wound. The upper wall is provided with integral spring strips which extend from the holes toward a central portion of the open side of the casing. These spring strips flex outwardly to permit the insertion of the tape spools into the casing and then spring back into the plane of the upper wall so as to retain the tape spools in place. Guide rollers adjacent opposite ends of the casing and near the open side have axle portions that are received in slots provided in the upper and lower walls of the casing. Pads for pressing against the tape are provided at opposite ends of a leaf spring which is positioned in the casing by means of a pin having end portions received in the upper and lower wall. Small tab portions of the upper and lower walls at the open side of the casing are bent at right angles to provide guide elements for the tape.

An indicating device for use in an electronic watch circuit indicating visually on the dial of the watch that the power cell in the circuit is operating properly and the circuit itself is operating properly. Cessation of the visual signal indicates that the cell should be replaced. The device uses a light-emitting element energized intermittently by pulses generated in the watch's electronic driving circuit. The threshold voltage of the light-emitting element is higher than the voltage necessary to adequately drive the driving circuit for keeping time accurately. A drop of the voltage below this threshold results in absence of light emissions and this indicates the cell is near exhaustion and must be replaced.
