Laser ultrasonic testing includes a laser apparatus; a splitting unit that splits a pulsed laser from the laser apparatus into first and second lasers; a first pulse width conversion unit that converts a pulse width of the first laser; a first optical system that guides the first laser having the converted pulse width to a test object; a second pulse width conversion unit that converts a pulse width of the second laser; a pulse propagation time adjustment unit that adjusts a propagation time of the second laser having the converted pulse width; a second optical system that guides the second laser having the converted pulse width and adjusted propagation time to the test object; and a detection unit that detects a surface displacement change of the test object caused by an ultrasonic wave generated by the first laser when the second laser is reflected by the test object.

Laser ultrasonic testing

A laser measuring device includes a light source, a first splitter, a second splitter, first photodetection units, and second photodetection units. The light source emits laser light. The first splitter splits the laser light into light to be incident on a specimen and reference light that travels in a predetermined direction. The second splitter is where a combined wave formed by combining signal light reflected off the specimen and the reference light traveling in a direction different from the predetermined direction enters. The first photodetection units detect one part of the combined wave that has been transmitted through the second splitter. The second photodetection units detect another part of the combined wave that has been reflected off the second splitter. The first splitter has an asymmetric splitting ratio set such that power of the reference light becomes larger than power of the light to be incident on the specimen.

A laser displacement meter includes: a laser array beam source unit including a plurality of lasers emitting beams with different wavelengths; a lens array unit including a plurality of lenses for focusing laser beams; a reflected beam lens array unit including a plurality of focusing lenses for focusing the beam reflected on the surface of the object; an optical filter array unit including a plurality of optical filters through which the reflected beam is selectively transmitted; and a photodetector array unit including a plurality of photodetectors for detecting the beam transmitted through the optical filters.

Laser displacement meter and laser ultrasonic inspection apparatus using the same

There is provided a photoelectric conversion module that can be mounted two-dimensionally over a device board in a high-density, low-height manner and cooled efficiently with an easy-to-install collective-type radiator. In the photoelectric conversion module mounted over the device board, an optical connector is attached to that surface of an optical subassembly facing the device board. An electric connector has at least two sides thereof opened so that the optical transmission medium is threaded therethrough and extended through at least two facing sides of the optical subassembly. The optical transmission medium is thus extended between the optical subassembly and the device board in a vertically stacked manner.
