Provided is a piezoelectric element capable of reliably performing an electrical connection to an electrode layer. A piezoelectric element includes a piezoelectric layer, electrode layers formed on both sides of the piezoelectric layer, and a protective layer laminated on a surface of the electrode layer opposite to a surface on the polymer composite piezoelectric body side. The protective layer has a hole that penetrates from the surface to the electrode layer. The piezoelectric element further includes a filling member consisting of a conductive material, which is formed from the inside of the hole to a part of a surface of the protective layer and is electrically connected to the electrode layer, a conductive member which covers at least a part of the filling member and is electrically connected to the filling member, and a fixing member for fixing the conductive member.

Piezoelectric element

Provided are a laminated piezoelectric element and an electroacoustic transducer capable of obtaining high piezoelectric characteristics and easily ensuring an electric contact to an electrode layer. A plurality of layers of piezoelectric films, each of which is formed by laminating a first protective layer, a first electrode layer, a piezoelectric layer, a second electrode layer, and a second protective layer in this order, are laminated. Each of the piezoelectric layers is polarized in a thickness direction. In each of the piezoelectric films, the first electrode is disposed on an upstream side in a polarization direction of the piezoelectric layer, and the second electrode is disposed on a downstream side. Each of the plurality of piezoelectric films has a cemented portion which is cemented to an adjacent piezoelectric film and a protruding portion which is not cemented to the adjacent piezoelectric film and in which at least the first electrode layer and the first protective layer or the second electrode layer and the second protective layer protrude from the cemented portion toward the outside in a plane direction. At the protruding portion of each of the piezoelectric films, at least one of a first contact, to which the first electrode layers of the piezoelectric films are electrically connected to each other, or a second contact, to which the second electrode layers of the piezoelectric films are electrically connected to each other, is formed.

Laminated piezoelectric element and electroacoustic transducer

Provided is a piezoelectric element capable of preventing the occurrence of poor connection to an electrode layer. A piezoelectric element includes a piezoelectric layer, electrode layers formed on both sides of the piezoelectric layer, and a protective layer laminated on a surface of the electrode layer opposite to a surface on a piezoelectric layer side, in which the piezoelectric element includes a conductive foil laminated on a surface of the protective layer opposite to the electrode layer, the protective layer has a hole that penetrates from a surface to the electrode layer, the conductive foil includes an opening portion at a position that overlaps with the hole of the protective layer in a surface direction, the piezoelectric element includes a filling member consisting of a conductive material, which is formed on at least a part of a surface of the conductive foil from insides of the hole of the protective layer and an opening portion of the conductive foil and is electrically connected to the electrode layer and the conductive foil, and a covering member that covers the filling member and the conductive foil, the covering member has a through-hole at a position that does not overlap with the filling member in the surface direction, and the piezoelectric element includes a conductive member, which is inserted into the through-hole of the covering member and electrically connected to the conductive foil.

A recording tape cartridge of the present invention includes: a reel formed with an engagement portion on a bottom portion of a reel hub; a resin brake member moving toward and away from the bottom portion of the reel hub, and selectively adopting a rotation locked position and a rotation permitted position; a resin release member being capable of movement in a reel axial direction and rotating as a unit with the reel; and a projection portion that projects out in the reel axial direction from an axial center portion of either the brake member or the release member, that is formed with a housing portion housing a spherical member that contacts the other out of the brake member or the release member, and that is formed with a lip portion jutting out from an opening end portion of the housing portion toward a reel radial direction inner side.

Recording tape cartridge and brake member provided thereto

A recording tape cartridge capable of keeping position error signals during running of a recording tape small. A recording tape cartridge is provided with a reel hub, a magnetic tape that is wound round the reel hub, and a lower flange and upper flange that are disposed to oppose one another at each of the both axial direction ends of the reel hub. In a state in which the magnetic tape is completely wound on the reel hub, the magnetic tape is offset toward the upper flange. A space of an edge clearance between a lower end of an outermost periphery portion of the magnetic tape and the lower flange is at least 0.18 mm and at most 0.46 mm. A rate of widening of a facing distance between the lower flange and the upper flange increases toward the outer periphery side.

Recording tape cartridge

There is provided a tape guiding member including: a hub around which a recording tape is wound or is trained; a flange main body that is provided at the hub, and that restricts a position in a transverse direction of the recording tape; a tape contacting layer that is formed in a shape of a sheet of a material that is different from a material that structures the flange main body, and that is superposed on a surface, at the recording tape side, of the flange main body; and a holding portion that is provided at the flange main body, and covers an outer peripheral edge portion of the tape contacting layer from the recording tape side, and holds the tape contacting layer at the flange main body.

Tape guiding member

There is provided a drive device including: a hub around which a recording tape is wound; a pair of flanges that are provided at both axial direction sides of the hub so as to be able to rotate relative to the hub, and that restrict a position, in a transverse direction, of the recording tape; a connecting member that connects outer peripheral portions of the pair of flanges together at least at a portion other than a traveling path of the recording tape; and a casing having, at an interior, a space in which the hub and the pair of flanges are accommodated and in which the recording tape travels, a fixing portion, that is provided at at least one of the pair of flanges or at the connecting member, being fixed to the casing.

Drive device

A reel includes a hub formed in a cylindrical-tube-shape with a base portion, on an outer peripheral surface of which a recording tape is wound; a base side flange portion that projects-out to a radial direction outer side of a base portion side of the hub; a flange member configured in a disc-shape or an annular-plate-shape of a material with an elastic modulus at least equal to a material that constitutes the hub, the flange member being coaxially joined to an opening end portion of the hub; a metal plate formed in a circular-plate-shape or an annular-plate-shape, which is fixed coaxially to the base portion of the hub; and a groove wall that is formed integrally with the base portion of the hub and forms a groove portion which is continuous around the entire periphery between the groove wall and an outer peripheral surface of the metal plate.

Reel and recording tape cartridge

A recording tape cartridge is provided with a case rotatably accommodating a reel around which a tape is wound and including an opening from which the tape may be drawn out, a leader portion including guard portions disposed at both ends thereof in a width direction of a tape, recessed housing portions formed in the case as a vertical pair that face the opening and that allow the guard portions to be inserted, and a pair of leader holding members that form part of respective pin receiving portions together with the recessed housing portions. Each leader holding member includes, integrally, a fixed portion fixed to the inside of the case, a retaining spring that engages with one of the guard portions in one of the recessed housing portions from the opening side thereof, and an overhanging portion that covers the guard portion in one of the recessed housing portions.

A reinforcement ring is insert-molded as an insert body on a reel hub of a reel around which recording tape is wound. The reinforcement ring includes a metal ring at least whose inner peripheral surface is covered by a resin layer. The clearance between the reinforcement ring and a mold during reel molding can be reduced, and the amount of eccentricity of the insert body with respect to the reel hub can be reduced.

Insert body, reel, and recording tape cartridge

A recording tape cartridge can prevent release of rotation locking of a reel with respect to a case accompanying dropping of the recording tape cartridge. The tape recording cartridge is configured to rotatably accommodate within a case a reel that has magnetic tape wound on a reel hub. Within the reel hub, external teeth of a brake gear, of a brake member that is supported so as to be non-rotatable with respect to the case, mesh with an engaged gear having internal teeth, preventing rotation of the reel with respect to the case. Lock portions of lock members are inserted between the reel positioned biased to a bottom panel side by a compression coil spring, and a top panel, thereby preventing movement of the reel with respect to the case in the reel axial direction.

Outer diameters of upper and lower flanges of a reel are formed equal to each other irrespective of a diameter of a hub, and a cylindrical wall having the same inner diameter as the hub of the reel having the small diameter hub is provided in the reel having the large diameter hub. Thereby, there is provided a low-capacity type recording tape cartridge, in which other parts can be used both as the reel having the small diameter hub and the reel having the large diameter hub only by changing the reels and a displaced angle of a recording tape does not vary with respect to a case sidewall of a leader member.

A recording tape cartridge is provided that includes a leader pin attached, directly or through a leader tape, to an end portion of a recording tape, and includes flange portions formed at both ends thereof, an opening formed at a case, and from which the leader pin is pulled out; holding portions formed at an upper case and a lower case respectively, and holding respectively the flange portions of the leader pin in the vicinity of the opening; an overhang portion formed at at least one of the holding portions, and overlaping with the flange portion at an inner surface side thereof when the leader pin is held at the holding portions; and an elastic deformable engaging portion formed at at least one of the holding portions to urge the flange portion in an axial direction of the leader pin when the leader pin is held at the holding portions.

A recording tape cartridge which includes a case, a reel including a hub accommodated in the case, a locking member supported to be non-rotatable relative to the case and disposed within the hub, and a switching member disposed in the case. The hub is provided with an engaging portion therein. The locking member can attain a rotation-locking position, at which the locking member engages with the engaging portion and fills a gap between the reel and the case in an axial direction of the reel, and a rotation-enabling position, at which the state of engagement with the engaging portion is released and the locking member being withdrawn from the gap. The switching member retains the locking member at the rotation-locking position at times of non-use of the recording tape, and moves the locking member to the rotation-enabling position when operated in a predetermined direction by a drive device.

A recording tape cartridge includes a leader member that is attached to an end portion of recording tape and on both ends of which flange portions are formed, and holding portions that are formed in an upper case and a lower case and hold the leader member in the vicinity of an opening. Projecting portions are formed on the holding portions and overlap the flange portions on inner surface sides of the flange portions. Through holes are formed in the upper case and the lower case, whereby undercut portions are not present in the projecting portions. The case of the recording tape cartridge can be molded without complicating the configuration of the mold.
