An electrophotographic transfer film comprising a transparent substrate having formed on at least one side thereof an image-receiving layer is disclosed, in which the image-receiving layer comprises a binder resin and at least one resistivity control agent selected from (a) conductive metal oxide fine particles having an average particle size of not greater than 0.1 .mu.m and (b) an nonionic surface active agent, and the image-receiving layer has a surface resistivity of from 1.times.10.sup.9 to 1.times.10.sup.13 .OMEGA. at 25.degree. C. and 65% RH. The electrophotographic transfer film is less liable to variation of surface resistivity with environmental changes, particularly a great change in humidity, and exhibits excellent transfer properties to provide a toner image of high density in a stable manner.

Electrophotographic transfer film

An electrophotographic film for receiving toner image comprising a transparent substrate having formed on at least one side thereof an image-receiving layer containing a matting agent and a binder, wherein the matting agent comprises at least two kinds of matting agents A and B which are different in shape, matting agent A comprising nearly spherical fine particles, and matting agent B comprising flat fine particles, with the average short diameter and average long diameter of each of matting agents A and B satisfying all of relationships (1), (2) and (3):

Transparent electrophotographic film

An electrophotographic transfer film is provided for use in an electrophotographic process in which a charged toner is adsorbed by an electrostatic latent image retaining unit and then transferred to a transfer film, in which a transparent resin layer which exhibits a compatibility with the binding resin for the toner to be fixed at the toner fixing temperature and a lower apparent melt viscosity than the toner biding resin at the toner fixing temperature is provided on at least one side of a plastic film having a heat resisting temperature of 100.degree. C. or higher.

Electrophotographic transfer film and process for forming image

A sheet straightening unit including a device for pushing a depressing roll against an endless belt, so that a curled sheet is straightened when passing between the endless belt and the depressing roll pushed against the latter. The depressing roll is provided with an amount-of-depression adjusting mechanism which includes a cam member and a cam follower member engaged with the former, in such a manner that the cam member is turned according to the kind and image density of the curled sheet, thereby to most suitably determine the extent to which depressing roll is pushed against the endless belt.
