An electronic device capable of measuring the blood flow speed in a retina blood vessel or the like of an eye is provided. The electronic device includes a display portion, a sending portion, a receiving portion, and a control circuit. The sending portion has a function of generating a first ultrasonic wave with a first frequency and a function of sending a first electric signal corresponding to the first frequency to the control circuit. The receiving portion has a function of receiving a second ultrasonic wave, which is the first ultrasonic wave reflected by an object, with a second frequency, a function of generating a second electric signal corresponding to the second frequency, and a function of sending the second electric signal to the control circuit. Note that the object is one or more selected from a retina blood vessel and a blood vessel included in a retina of a user's eye. The control circuit has a function of calculating the blood flow speed in one or more selected from the retina blood vessel and the blood vessel with the use of the first electric signal and the second electric signal and a function of sending a third electric signal corresponding to the blood flow speed to the display portion. The display portion has a function of receiving the third electric signal and displaying the blood flow speed.

Electronic device

A display apparatus having a wide range of threshold voltage compensation function is provided. In the display apparatus, a p-channel transistor is used as a driving transistor of the light-emitting device. Discharging is performed through a source-drain path while constant voltage is supplied to a gate so that Vth is extracted between the gate and the source. In addition, when a drain potential is set to the sum of forward voltage and a cathode potential of the light-emitting device or a potential sufficiently lower than the sum, it is possible to continue the discharging even when Vth is positive voltage. That is, compensation can be performed even in the case where Vth variation occurs from positive voltage to negative voltage.

Display apparatus, its operating method, and electronic device

A display device includes a liquid crystal element, a transistor, a scan line, and a signal line. The liquid crystal element includes a pixel electrode, a liquid crystal layer, and a common electrode. The scan line and the signal line are each electrically connected to the transistor. The scan line and the signal line each include a metal layer. The transistor is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. A semiconductor layer of the transistor includes a stack of a first metal oxide layer and a second metal oxide layer. The first metal oxide layer includes a region with lower crystallinity than the second metal oxide layer. The transistor includes a first region connected to the pixel electrode. The pixel electrode, the common electrode, and the first region are each configured to transmit visible light. Visible light passes through the first region and the liquid crystal element and exits from the display device.

Display device, display module, and electronic device

A display device with an imaging function is provided. A high-resolution imaging device or display device is provided. The display device includes first to third switches, first and second transistors, a capacitor, first and second wirings, and a light-emitting and light-receiving element. One electrode of the first switch is electrically connected to the first wiring, and the other electrode is electrically connected to a gate of the first transistor and one electrode of the capacitor. One electrode of the second switch is electrically connected to one of a source and a drain of the first transistor, one electrode of the light-emitting and light-receiving element, and the other electrode of the capacitor, and the other electrode of the second switch is electrically connected to a gate of the second transistor and one electrode of the third switch. The other electrode of the third switch is electrically connected to the second wiring. The light-emitting and light-receiving element has a function of emitting light of a first color and a function of receiving light of a second color.

A semiconductor device capable of performing authentication in a short time can be provided. The semiconductor device includes a light-emitting unit and an imaging unit. The imaging unit includes a row driver circuit, and the row driver circuit includes first to m latch circuits (m is an integer greater than or equal to 2) and first to m register circuits. A first start pulse signal is input to a first latch circuit and second start pulse signals are input to first to m latch circuits. Scan signals output from the first to (m−1)-th register circuits are input to the second to m-th latch circuits, respectively. The first latch circuit has a function of outputting one of the first start pulse signal and the second start pulse signal to the first register circuit on the basis of data held, and the second to m-th latch circuits have a function of outputting one of the scan signal and the second start pulse signal to the second to m-th register circuits on the basis of data held.

Semiconductor device, method for driving semiconductor device, and electronic device

A display apparatus includes a data generation circuit, a source driver circuit, and a pixel. The source driver circuit is electrically connected to the pixel through first and second wirings. The pixel includes a display device that is a liquid crystal device, a potential of one electrode of the display device can be a potential of the first wiring, and a potential of the other electrode of the display device can be a potential of the second wiring. The image data generation circuit has a function of generating digital image data including first and second data. One of the first and second wirings is made to have a potential corresponding to first data, and the other of the first and second wirings is made to have a potential corresponding to the second data. The potential of the first wiring and the potential of the second wiring are interchanged.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus including a pixel circuit that generates a PWM signal is provided. In the display apparatus, a pixel has a function of generating a PWM signal. The PWM signal can be generated by an operation of comparing gate-source voltage or on-state resistance of each of two transistors provided in the pixel. Light emission of a light-emitting device such as a micro LED or an organic EL element is controlled with a duty ratio using the generated PWM signal. The PWM signal is generated in a circuit formed of a small number of transistors, which is effective in increasing the definition and the area of the display apparatus.

Display apparatus and electronic device

A novel display is provided. A display having a small change in chromaticity of a micro light-emitting diode in proportion to current density is provided. A display capable of reducing power consumption in the driver circuit when displaying a still image is provided. The display includes a plurality of pixels each including a display element and a microcontroller. The microcontroller includes a first transistor, a triangular wave generator circuit, a comparator, a switch, and a constant current circuit. The first transistor has a function of retaining a potential corresponding to data written to the pixel by being switched off. The triangular wave generator circuit has a function of generating a triangular wave signal. The comparator has a function of generating an output signal corresponding to the potential and the triangular wave signal. The switch has a function of controlling whether or not to make a current flowing in the constant current circuit flow to the display element in accordance with the output signal.

Display and electronic device including the display

A display device with high display quality is provided. A display device with low power consumption is provided. In the display device, a first transistor, a second transistor, a first conductive layer, and a light-emitting diode package are included in a pixel. The light-emitting diode package includes a first light-emitting diode, a second light-emitting diode, a second conductive layer, a third conductive layer, and a fourth conductive layer. The first light-emitting diode includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The second light-emitting diode includes a third electrode and a fourth electrode. One of a source and a drain of the first transistor is electrically connected to the first electrode through the second conductive layer. One of a source and a drain of the second transistor is electrically connected to the third electrode through the third conductive layer. The first conductive layer is electrically connected to each of the second electrode and the fourth electrode through the fourth conductive layer. A constant potential is supplied to the first conductive layer.

To increase the detection sensitivity of a touch panel, provide a thin touch panel, provide a foldable touch panel, or provide a lightweight touch panel. A display element and a capacitor forming a touch sensor are provided between a pair of substrates. Preferably, a pair of conductive layers forming the capacitor each have an opening. The opening and the display element are provided to overlap each other. A light-blocking layer is provided between a substrate on the display surface side and the pair of conductive layers forming the capacitor.

Touch panel

A display apparatus with low power consumption is provided. The display apparatus includes a circuit for boosting a signal voltage output from a gate driver. The signal voltage from the gate driver can be boosted and then supplied to a pixel, which is suitable for driving a display device with a high threshold voltage. Furthermore, by utilizing a boosting function, output of the gate driver can be reduced, and power consumption can also be reduced. By combination with a pixel having a boosting function of image data, a display apparatus with lower power consumption can be achieved.

A semiconductor device including a biometric recognition function and a touch sensor or near touch sensor function is provided. The semiconductor device includes a light-emitting device and an imaging device. The imaging device includes a gate driver circuit and m rows of pixels (m is an integer more than or equal to 2). The gate driver circuit includes a plurality of first register circuits and second register circuits whose number is less than that of the first register circuits. The first register circuits are connected with each other in series and the second register circuits are connected with each other in series. The gate driver circuit has a function of operating in the first mode and the second mode. In the first mode, the first register circuits are in the on state and the second register circuits are in the off state, and in the second mode, the second register circuits are in the on state and the first register circuits are in the off state.

Semiconductor device

A flip-flop circuit is provided. A driver circuit is provided. The flip-flop circuit includes first to fifth input terminals and first to third output terminals, the first input terminal is supplied with a first trigger signal, the second input terminal is supplied with a second trigger signal, the third input terminal is supplied with a batch selection signal, the fourth input terminal is supplied with a first pulse width modulation signal, and the fifth input terminal is supplied with a second pulse width modulation signal. The first output terminal supplies a first selection signal in response to the first pulse width modulation signal in a period from supply of the first trigger signal to supply of the second trigger signal, the first output terminal supplies the first selection signal in a period during which the batch selection signal is supplied, the second output terminal supplies a second selection signal in response to the second pulse width modulation signal in the period from the supply of the first trigger signal to the supply of the second trigger signal, and the third output terminal supplies a third trigger signal.

Flip-flop circuit, driver circuit, display panel, display device, input/output device, and data processing device

A laser processing system includes: a first light irradiator including: a first light emitter to emit first laser light; and a first light scanner to scan a first region of a workpiece with the first laser light emitted from the first light emitter; a second light irradiator including: a second light emitter to emit second laser light; and a second light scanner to scan a second region different from the first region of the workpiece with the second laser light emitted from the second light emitter. The first light irradiator emits the first laser light to the first region of the workpiece in a first irradiation direction, the second light irradiator emits the second laser light to the second region of the workpiece in a second irradiation direction opposite to the first irradiation direction.

Laser processing system and light irradiator

A display apparatus having a photosensing function is provided. The display apparatus includes a first pixel circuit and a second pixel circuit. The first pixel circuit includes a light-receiving device, a first transistor, and a second transistor. The second pixel circuit includes a light-emitting device. The light-receiving device includes a first pixel electrode, an active layer, and a common electrode. The light-emitting device includes a second pixel electrode, a light-emitting layer, and the common electrode. The active layer is positioned over the first pixel electrode and includes a first organic compound. The light-emitting layer is positioned over the second pixel electrode and includes a second organic compound different from the first organic compound. The common electrode includes a portion overlapping with the first pixel electrode with the active layer therebetween and a portion overlapping with the second pixel electrode with the light-emitting layer therebetween. The first transistor includes low-temperature polysilicon as a semiconductor layer and the second transistor includes a metal oxide as a semiconductor layer.
