A medicine dispensing apparatus fills a vial having a polygonal cross-sectional shape with medicines to dispense the medicines. The apparatus contains a stocker, a first vial transporting unit, a vial orienting unit, a labeling unit, a second vial transporting unit, a medicine filling unit, and a vial discharging window. The stocker stores the vial. The first vial transporting unit transports the vial from the stocker to the labeling unit. The vial orienting unit adjusts an orientation of the vial. The labeling unit labels the vial. The second vial transporting unit transports the vial from the labeling unit to the medicine filling unit. The medicine filling unit fills the vial with the medicines. The second vial transporting unit further transports the vial from the medicine filling unit to the vial discharging window, where the vial is discharged through the vial discharging window.

Medicine dispensing apparatus

The medicine packing machine is equipped with a loading unit that is capable of receiving and delivering vials retrieved from a stocker, and a supplying unit that is capable of delivering the vials from the loading unit in an upright position. A control unit is also disposed between the loading unit and the supplying unit. As a result of the presence of the control unit, the transfer of vials received by the loading unit is controlled by the control unit in such a manner that the vials are not ejected towards the supplying unit. The vials are also controlled so as to be in an upright position once loaded into the loading unit. As a result of these actions, the vials received by the loading unit are reliably delivered to the supplying unit without being ejected or jamming at unanticipated locations.

Upright vial discharge unit

This invention aims at providing a medicine filling device which can supply the vial container in a smooth manner without getting caught in the vial supply means designed to supply the empty vial container, before filling the drug. The supply meanshas the structure that the vial container can pass in it and the vial container passage. The vial container passagehas the passage width goes on tapering from the region on the upper end side towards the region on the lower end side. The vial container passagealso has the inner wall surfaceand. The vial container passagehas the passage portionbeing steeper than the inclination of the inner wall surfaceand the taper ratio of the passage portionbeing smaller than the taper ratio of the passage width in the receiving portion. Therefore, the center of gravity of the vial container exceeds the border of the receiving portionand the passing portion, the posture of the vial container switches to the standing state.

Medicament filling machine

A medicine filling device for filling empty vials of different shapes and sizes with medicine without having to replace any members or having to perform any special operations is disclosed. More specifically, the medicine filling device is provided with a first transfer means to transfer an empty vial B stored within a stocker while the vial B is positioned on a side, a vial lifter (second transfer means) to hold the transferred vial B in an upright position and to move said vial B towards a medicine filling unit, and a vial orientation detection means to detect the orientation of the vial B which was removed from the stocker by the first transfer means. The first transfer means is provided with a reversal mechanism and the vial B is supplied to the vial lifter from the first transfer means while the bottom of the vial B faces a vial guiding means.
