To provide an immunochromatographic test device capable of accurate diagnosis even when an excess sample is introduced. Provided is the immunochromatographic test device consisting: a test strip; a lower housing including a plurality of support bases that support the test strip; and an upper housing including a dropping hole for dropping a sample into the test strip and a detection window in a direction in which the sample introduced from the dropping hole develops on the test strip, wherein a width of the support base that supports portion of the test strip exposed from the detection window is smaller than a width of the test strip, or wherein among the plurality of support bases, the width of the support base arranged on the lower housing between a position corresponding to the detection window and a position corresponding to the dropping hole is larger than the width of the test strip.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method of reducing interference to a measurement system from water-soluble silicone and/or surfactant contaminating the measurement system in a latex agglutination immunoassay. The execution of a latex immunoagglutination reaction in the presence of a silicone compound can reduce the interference to the measurement system from a component derived from a micro blood-collection tube (water-soluble silicone) and/or surfactant mixed from outside of the measurement system.

The match lines are used as horizontal bit line pair, or signal lines for accessing the horizontal port. As the first and second data storage portions are used, it becomes possible to store ternary data, and accordingly, a write mask function of inhibiting a data write at a destination of data transfer is realized. Further, as the CAM cell is used, an arithmetic/logic operation following a search process can be executed selectively, and high speed data writing/reading becomes possible.

The present invention provides a screening method by which a prediabetic state can be more accurately determined and many test samples can be treated without physical burden on patients, and a diagnostic reagent used for it. By measuring a D-mannose concentration, preferably a D-mannose concentration and a glucose concentration, in a body fluid collected from a subject, and comparing them with their respective standard values, a patient in a prediabetic state can be detected. Further, the measurement of the mannose concentration is conducted by allowing an enzyme having an oxidizing activity on mannose by dehydrogenation to react on the mannose in a sample in the presence of an electron acceptor, and quantitatively determining the formed reductant of the electron acceptor.

The compound of the present invention is very useful as a substrate for determining .alpha.-amylase activity, and .alpha.-amylase activity can be easily measured accurately in a short time by using the reagent without affection of the other ingredients contained in the sample.
