A leaf switch may include a cam body formed with a plurality of cam parts in a multistage shape and a plurality of leaf contact pieces which are extended toward the cam body and whose tip end sides of the plurality of leaf contact pieces are respectively abutted with the plurality of cam parts, and base end sides of the plurality of leaf contact pieces are held at the same height position. Further, an ice making device may include a water supply leaf switch for controlling water supply from a water-supply part to an ice tray, and a water supply amount adjust mechanism which includes an operation member that causes a leaf contact piece to deform to adjust a timing when the water supply switch is turned on or off. Further, an ice making device may include an ice detecting lever and a lever position detecting mechanism which detects ice amount in an ice storage part by detecting a position of the ice detecting lever.

Leaf switch and ice making device using leaf switch

A torque limiter may include a first member provided with a circumferential face, a second member provided with a base plate part and a cylindrical drum part which is extended from the base plate part so as to surround the circumferential face of the first member, and an urging member for urging the cylindrical drum part of the second member to the circumferential face of the first member. The cylindrical drum part is formed with a plurality of cutout parts to be divided into a plurality of elastic plate parts. The cutout part is extended from a tip end of the cylindrical drum part to a middle position in a radial direction of the base plate part and the elastic plate part is formed of the cylindrical drum part and the base plate part.

Torque limiter

A closing device for a toilet unit includes a slave member connected to a toilet cover, a motor, and a switching mechanism that mechanically connects or disconnects the motor from the slave member during closing of the cover. When the motor rotates to move the toilet cover from an open position to a partially closed position, the switching mechanism allows the slave member to move in response to rotation of the motor. After the toilet cover reaches the partially closed position, the mechanical link between the slave member and the motor provided by the switching mechanism is released such that the toilet cover falls freely under its own weight to the closed position independent of the motor. Preferably, the device includes a driving member coupled between the motor and the switching mechanism and operable to move the slave member. The motor rotates in the reverse direction to return the driving member to a position corresponding to the open position of the toilet cover such that during opening of the toilet cover by a user, the slave member is mechanically disconnected from the driving member to reduce the amount of force required to open the toilet cover.

Refrigerator

An automatic ice making machine 1 includes an ice tray 2 for making ice cubes, ice separating means 5 for separating ice cubes from the ice tray 2 by turning the ice tray 2, and an ice storage container for storing separated ice cubes. A stepping motor 13 is used for a drive source for the driver unit 5. The automatic ice making machine further includes detecting means for detecting a predetermined position of the ice tray 2; and control means for controlling a drive of the stepping motor 13. When the ice tray 2 is returned to the water supply position, the control means determines a predetermined position of the ice tray 2 by use of a signal from the detecting means, and determines other positions of the ice tray 2 by the utilization of the number of steps of the motor counted from the predetermined position. When the ice tray 2 is returned to the water supply position, the control means turns the ice tray 2 beyond the ice making position and the water supply position in the opposite direction to the ice separation position, and then turns the ice tray 2 toward the ice separation position and returns the ice tray 2 to the water supply position. Therefore, the amount of water to the ice tray 2 is increased.

Ice making device and method of controlling the same

In an opening/closing member driving method in which the rotation of a motor rotatable in two directions is transmitted through a transmission member to an opening/closing member to thereby drive a baffle 4 in an opening direction A and in a closing direction B, when driving the transmission member from an intermediate position to an original position which is set at a position where the transmission member is moved to the full in one direction or in the other direction, the transmission member is once driven in the opposite direction to the original position and is stopped at such opposite position or in the neighborhood of the opposite position and, after then, the transmission member is driven in the original position direction by an amount equivalent to the normal movement thereof and is thereby returned to the original position.

A vibrating device for an electric refrigerator contains an ice making tray for making an ice from a water which is supplied to the ice making tray; a fulcrum member mounted on the ice making tray rotatable about the fulcrum member; an ice storing chamber for storing the ice which has been made in the ice making tray by rotating the ice making tray about the fulcrum member; rotation device for rotating the fulcrum member to perform an ice removing operation applied to the ice making tray; reciprocation device for supporting the fulcrum member in a horizontal direction which is orthogonal to an axis direction of the fulcrum member and for reciprocating the fulcrum member in the horizontal direction which is orthogonal to the axis direction of the fulcrum member.
