An object owner determining unit generates object owner information by determining an owner of an identified object identified by an object identification unit, out of the occupants identified by an occupant identification unit, using occupant identification information and object identification information. When getting out of an occupant is detected by the occupant identification unit, an object misplacement determining unit determines whether or not an object owned by the occupant who gets out is misplaced in the vehicle using the object owner information about the occupant who gets out. When the object misplacement determining unit determines that an object owned by the occupant who gets out is misplaced in the vehicle, the warning unit provides a warning.

A spring seat is interposed between a spring and a suspension arm supporting the spring. The spring seat includes a support portion for supporting the spring, and an upright partition portion disposed on one side of the spring seat in a lateral direction of the spring seat. The upright partition portion is formed integrally with the support portion for covering a side surface of the spring. The suspension arm includes a recessed portion supporting the spring, and the partition portion has a height equal to or greater than a height of the recessed portion. The partition portion includes a guide surface for upward or laterally guiding foreign matters coming from an outside of the spring seat in the lateral direction of the spring seat.

An electronic endoscope apparatus includes a connection unit for selectively connecting a plurality of machine types of electronic endoscopes which use different color information obtainment methods and a plurality of replacement tables which are provided for the plurality of machine types of electronic endoscopes respectively, and each of which stores a correspondence between values representing colors which can be obtained by each of the electronic endoscopes by photographing an observation object and values representing the true colors of the observation object. The electronic endoscope apparatus distinguishes the machine type of the electronic endoscope and replaces the values of obtained colors by using the replacement table for the distinguished machine type. Further, the electronic endoscope apparatus stores setting information for each purpose of examination, and further performs image processing, based on selected setting information, on the image of which the values of the colors have been replaced.

Electronic endoscope apparatus

An electronic endoscope apparatus having a scope and a processor. The processor includes a plurality of image processing means and a first setting means. Each of the image processing means performs different image processing. ON/OFF of functions and/or parameters used for the processing are set individually with respect to each of the image processing means. The scope includes a memory having at least one area configured to store ON/OFF setting of the function of each of the image processing means and/or a value of the processing parameter used for each processing. The first setting means of the processor reads information stored in the area of the memory of the scope to set the function of each of the image processing means to ON or OFF and supply a predetermined parameter to each of the image processing means based on the information.

An endoscope having a color space conversion circuit performs a matrix calculation according to RGB signals and matrix data respectively corresponding to signals in wavelength ranges is provided with a wavelength memory section having a default data memory area, which stores a default value representing a wavelength range selected by a wavelength selection section, and a changed-wavelength saving area that stores a wavelength range selected by the wavelength selection section after changed from the wavelength range represented by the default value. Subsequently, at least a part of the wavelength range stored in the changed-wavelength saving area is rewritten by a reset section into the default value stored in the default data memory area.

Endoscope apparatus

A brightness image is produced from a frame image input from a scope and a high brightness pixel group including pixels next to one another, of which the brightness values exceed a predetermined value, and of which the number exceeds a predetermined value, is detected. Only when the pixel group is detected, a microcomputer performs light amount adjustment. When no high brightness pixel group is detected any more, a brightness blurred image is produced from the brightness image. If the value of a pixel forming the brightness blurred image is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, the value is replaced with zero. If the value is less than or equal to a predetermined value, the value is replaced with a greater value as the value is smaller. Then, brightness conversion is performed on the brightness image by adding the brightness blurred image after replacement to the brightness image.

Electronic endoscopic apparatus

An electronic endoscope system comprises an electronic endoscope and a processor. The electronic endoscope includes a parallel/serial converter which encodes a vertical synchronizing signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal to synchronization codes representing ON/OFF states thereof expressed by several maximum and minimum signal levels for representing the digital image signals, and uses a maximum and a minimum signal levels except the signal levels representing the synchronization codes to express the digital image signals which would normally be represented by the signal levels representing the synchronization codes, while the image signals whose levels are not in the signal levels representing the synchronization codes are not subject to change. The processor includes a synchronizing signal decoder for decoding the vertical synchronizing signal and the horizontal synchronizing signal based on the synchronization codes.

Electronic endoscope system

A video signal selector has a selector switch for selectively outputting one of an endoscopic video signal and an ultrasonic video signal, and a selector control circuit for controlling the selector switch. The selector switch selects the endoscopic video signal by default. The selector control circuit switches the selector switch to the ultrasonic video signal in response to input of an ultrasonic image capture command for commanding to save an ultrasonic image.

An electronic endoscope has a light guide for leading a light and a solid-state image sensor for capturing an image of a human body cavity during illumination. In inspecting the number of broken optical fibers in the light guide, a cap is attached to a distal portion of the electronic endoscope. The cap has a test chart. The solid-state image sensor captures an image of the test chart which is illuminated with the light transmitted through the light guide. A photometric circuit calculates an average luminance value 'Y' of the test chart from a chart image signal. A broken fiber number calculator calculates the number 'N' of broken optical fibers that satisfies N=M&#xd7;(1&#x2212;Y/I). &#x201c;Y&#x201d; represents an average luminance value of the test chart. &#x201c;I&#x201d; represents an ideal average luminance value when all optical fibers are conducting, and &#x201c;M&#x201d; represents the total number of the optical fibers.

Endoscope system and method for inspecting electronic endoscope

An endoscope apparatus comprises: a scope comprising a solid imaging device; a processor unit which forms an observation image from signals emitted from the solid imaging device, the processor being connected to the scope; and a plurality of monitors each of which is connected to the processor unit, wherein a whole image of the observation image is displayed on at least one of said plurality of monitors, and a partial image of the observation image is enlarged and displayed on the other one(s) of said plurality of monitors.

Endoscope visual imaging and processing apparatus

An endoscope spectral image system is provided and includes: an image recording apparatus for recording a color image provided by using a scope; and a processor apparatus, in which spectroscopic characteristic information including a spectroscopic characteristic of CCD is output from the processor apparatus to the image recording apparatus along with color image data. At the image recording apparatus, matrix data in correspondence with the spectroscopic characteristic information is selected to be read from a plurality of matrix data stored in a memory, matrix operation by the matrix data and color image data is carried out at a spectral image-forming circuit, and a spectral image formed by signals of arbitrarily selected wavelength regions is provided.

Endoscope spectral image system apparatus

In an electronic endoscope system, an RF signal is produced through quadrature modulation of a picture signal that is representative of an image taken through an electronic endoscope. When control signals are entered by an operator through a control section of the electronic endoscope, a data superimposing section superimposes the entered control signals on the RF signal in horizontal scanning intervals within a vertical blanking interval. The RF signal having the control signals superimposed thereon is sent as an electric wave of a single frequency band to a processor. In the processor, a data analyzer carries out sampling to extract the entered control signals if they are superimposed on the picture signal, and analyzes the contents of the entered control signals. Based on the results of analysis, a CPU controls respective components of the signal processor.

In an endoscope apparatus in which a scope is connected to a processor unit in a freely attachable and detachable way, the endoscope apparatus wherein matrix calculation is conducted for RGB signals formed by using CCD, a color space conversion processing circuit is provided for forming spectral images of the arbitrarily selected wavelength range. CCD characteristics identification information including types of color filters of the CCD and spectral characteristics or scope characteristics information is stored in the ROM of the scope, a plurality of matrix data corresponding to characteristics identification information is stored in the memory of the processor unit, and matrix data corresponding to the obtained characteristics information is read from the memory, thereby forming an excellent spectral image by using data suitable for characteristics of the CCD or the scope.

An endoscopic system that processes a color image data of a subject from an imager mounted on an endoscope and records the processed image data in an image recorder/display unit, the endoscopic system comprising: a storage that stores matrix data for forming a spectral image; and a spectral-image forming circuit that is capable of forming (i) a spectral image in an arbitrarily-selected wavelength band according to a matrix operation of the matrix data in the storage and the color image data and (ii) a standard image according to a matrix operation of standard-image matrix data and the color image data, the standard-image matrix data being for forming a standard image.
