The invention is directed to a method of detecting hydrogen radicals present in water or an aqueous solution, characterized in adding sodium salt of 3,5-dibromo-4-nitrosobenzenesulfonic acid (DBNBS) to a sample for detecting the hydrogen radicals by coloring resulting from absorption characteristics thereof, and further characterized in blowing hydrogen gas into a solution of 1,1-diphenyl-2-piclylhydrazyl (DPPH) having absorption in the vicinity of 517 nm and a solution of sodium salt of 3,5-dibromo-4-nitrosobenzenesulfonic acid (DBNBS) at a constant speed in the presence of platinum black for quantitatively analyzing the concentration of the hydrogen radicals from a calibration curve C of a graph of correlation between absorbance in the vicinity of 450 nm derived from a DBNBS azo compound and the concentration of the formed hydrogen radicals.

Detection method and quantitative analysis method for hydrogen radical

Condensate of superoxide anion radical (SAR) abolisher exhibiting strong and stable SAR abolishing activity is provided. Hydrogen adsorbent is introduced into a solution obtained by dissolving electrolyte into purified water. The solution containing hydrogen adsorbent is introduced into both cathode and anode chambers separated by a diaphragm. With a cathode immersed in the cathode chamber and with an anode immersed in the anode chamber, electricity is applied between the cathode and the anode to electrolyze the solution. Electrolytic reduced water produced in the cathode chamber is derived, and water included in the electrolytic reduced water is evaporated.

Electrolytic reduced water free of hypochlorous acid and chlorine gas is provided which is effective for cancer treatment. Water including NaOH is subjected to electrolysis. Electrolytic reduced water obtained at a cathode electrode side has been found to suppress metastasis of cancer cells. The water had no effects on growth of healthy cells during a one-week test.
