A gas turbine combustor includes a diffusion combustor arranged at an axis portion of a combustion chamber for effecting diffusion combustion, a plurality of first premixing combustors arranged at an outer periphery of the diffusion combustor for effecting premixed combustion, each of the plurality of first premixing combustors being formed so that a mixture outlet end thereof projects more downstream than a fuel outlet end of the diffusion combustor, and a plurality of second premixing combustors each formed so that a mixture outlet thereof projects more downstream than the mixture outlet end of the first combustor, wherein the first premixing combustors and the second premixing combustors are arranged alternately at the outer periphery of the diffusion combustor, and wherein a swirler is provided on the first premixing combustor in the vicinity of the mixture outlet end thereof for swirling mixture.

Gas turbine combustor

A method for controlling a plurality of combustors supplying a pressurized gas to a gas turbine, with each of the combustors including a first air supply for supplying a combustion air into the combustor and a second air supply for adjusting an amount of air supplied into the combustor to change a combustion condition in the combustor. The method comprises the steps of measuring the combustion condition of each of the combustors, measuring a difference between the measured combustion condition of each of the combustors and a desired combustion condition, and changing a rate of the amount of air supplied into the combustor by the second air supply means in relation to an amount of combustion air supplied into the combustor by the first air supply in each of the combustors according to the measured difference of each of the combustors to change the combustion condition of each of the combustors so that the combustion conditions of the combustors are changed to the desired combustion condition.

Method and device for controlling combustors for gasturbine

A premixed combustor for a gas turbine, comprises, a combustion chamber for burning a fuel with an air therein, at least two premixed fuel/air mixture outlets which are juxtaposed with each other, and through each of which a premixed fuel/air mixture flows out into the combustion chamber, and a flow deflection member arranged between the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets, urging the permixed fuel/air mixture from one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets to go away from another one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets, and terminating in the combustion chamber so that the premixed fuel/air mixture from the one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets is permitted to move toward the premixed fuel/air mixture flowing out from the another one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets after going away from the another one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets.

Combustor for gas turbine

A combustion apparatus comprises a combustor liner forming a combustion chamber, and a swirler for introducing a fuel gas into the combustion chamber in the form of a swirl. The combustor liner has an air film forming device provided on the wall thereof and capable of forming a film of cooling air on the inner peripheral wall of the combustor liner so as to protect the combustor liner from the hot combustion gas in the combustion chamber. The air film forming means is formed such that the flowing direction of the air forming the film becomes the same direction as the swirling direction of the combustion gas, so that the film of the cooling air is not broken by the hot combustion gas.

A method and an apparatus for burning gaseous fuel, the composition of the fuel varying at times, wherein; main injection ports and sub-injection ports are arranged in such positions that the fuel injected through the sub-injection ports may be ignited by a flame formed from the fuel injected through the main injection ports; fuel passes are provided or conducting the gaseous fuel separately to the two groups of injection ports; and control valve is provided for adjusting the ratio of the fuel flow to the main injection ports to the fuel flow to the sub-injection ports; whereby the proportion of the fuel to be injected through the main injection ports is increased as the rate of burning the gaseous fuel increases.

Method for burning gaseous fuel, wherein fuel composition varies

A catalytic combustor for a gas turbine comprises catalyst layers arranged in two stages in a direction of gas flow. Fuel supply nozzles are disposed close to and upstream of the downstream catalyst layer. A substantially constant amount of fuel is supplied from the fuel supply nozzles to form pilot flames by the downstream catalyst layer, which are above 1000 degrees C. and below 1500 degrees C. Combustible component having passed through the upstream catalyst layer is burned by the pilot flames.

A solenoid valve in which a pulse signal is applied to an electromagnet thereof to eliminate an electric hysteresis. The solenoid valve includes a piston-like valve slidably supported in a cylinder, and at least one aperture, for communicating with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, provided in at least one of the valve and cylinder, whereby the flow rate of a fluid may be continuously controlled and the collision between the valve and a valve seat may be avoided.

Solenoid valve

A vapor generator for use in, for example, an absorption type water cooler or heater. The vapor generator having a burner section and a boiler section, the boiler section being constituted by an outer casing, an inner casing disposed in the outer casing, and a multiplicity of solution tubes attached in rows to the inner surfaces of wall of the inner casing so as to extend substantially vertically. The interior of the tubes is in communication with a space accommodating a medium to be heated and defined between the inner casing and outer casing. A multiplicity of fins are attached to the inner surfaces of walls of the inner casing in the area around the flame formed by the burner section so as to increase the rate of heat transfer to the medium in the above-mentioned space from the gas in the combustion chamber. The axis of each of the solution tubes in a second row is offset from the line which extends in parallel with the flow of gas from the midst of the gap between two adjacent solution pipes in a first row located upstream from the second row as viewed in the direction of flow of gas, so that overheating of the central portion of each solution tube in the second row is avoided advantageously.

Vapor generator

A combustion apparatus which includes tertiary air chambers are formed on both sides of a secondary combustion chamber, with tertiary air being supplied to a combustion flame produced within the secondary combustion chamber. The secondary combustion chamber has a flow channel width greater than a width of an opening in a throttle plate provided on the upstream side thereof, thereby achieving universality with respect to enabling use of various fuel and to increase the capacity of the combustion apparatus while reducing the size thereof.
