A rotary connector device having a stator housing 1 and a rotor housing 2 connected by an attachment 3. The attachment 3 fits to the rotor housing 2 and rotatably supports the stator housing 1. The attachment 3 includes a grease reservoir 33 disposed in sliding contact with the stator housing 1. An opening 25, through which a cord 61 connected to a flexible cable 4 is pulled outside, is disposed in the upper part of a rotor housing 2. The opening has a plurality of bumps 251 to 254 to clamp the cord 61. The stator housing 1 is constructed by assembling a side housing 11 and a bottom housing 12 together. A first gap 13 is formed in the area where the side housing 11 is connected to the bottom housing 12. A first side edge 71 of a slide sheet 7 is inserted into the first gap 13. A guide 15 of the bottom housing 12 for guiding the flexible cable 4 is formed with a second gap 14 into which the second side edge 72 of the slide sheet 7 is inserted. Respective base ends 112, 122 of the side housing 11 and the bottom housing 12 are aligned with each other in a plane, and the bottom housing 12 has a fitting claw 121 interfitted into a fitting hole 111 of the side housing 11. The rotor housing 2 has a contact portion 27 on the side facing the stator housing 1 inclined at a predetermined angle defining a tapered gap.

Rotary connector device

A lever switch assembly features an operation lever which has one end disposed in a hollow or cavity defined in a movable switch element and is pivotally supported thereon by two boss-like lugs which project out from opposite sides of the lever. The lugs are received in blind bores formed in springy finger-like projections which form part of the movable switch element. The movable switch element is housed in a case and pivotally supported thereon so as to be rotatable about an axis which is normal to the axis about which the operation lever is pivotal. A pair of electrodes which is disposed on the operation lever is arranged to remain in constant contact with intermediate contacts which are supported on the movable switch element, irrespective of the pivotal movement of the lever. The intermediate contacts maintain a constant electrical connection between the electrodes on the lever and electrodes which are provided on the case. The movable switch element is provided with sliding switch contacts which are arranged to establish connection between pairs of stationary electrodes or contacts which are arcuately arranged on a portion of the case.

Automotive cigar lighter

The car cigar lighter of the present invention has such construction that it can easily be mounted on the panel nearby the driver's seat of a car and is superior in the operating ease and safety. Namely, it is characterized in that a holder and a positioning projection are formed on a socket by processing and on the other hand, at the center of a plug housed into said socket, a circular groove is formed and at the skirt portion of said plug, a ringed projection is formed respectively to enable controlling the sinking action of the knob by engaging the component members mentioned above with each other and also, with a base holder fixed into the cavity of the knob, a push nut secured to the base shaft of shaft body is press-fitted into the base holder to stick the knob easily to the shaft body. Further at the opening edge of a flange, a heat insulating resin ring is fitted to cover the edge, whereby any person who uses the cigar lighter can be prevented from getting burned.

Car cigar lighter

A device for mounting the column switches for vehicles fixes various kinds of unit type column switches for vehicles, for example, unit type turn signal switches, a wiper switch, a washer switch, and so forth on the base board fixed on the handle shaft of a vehicle. Guide projections are provided at both sides of the column switches for vehicles, while U-shaped depressions in which said column switches are fitted are provided on the base board. This depression has guide grooves at its side walls, and the guide projections are inserted into said guide grooves. Further, screw holes are arranged at a part of the column switches for vehicles or a part of said base board, while through holes are provided at a part of the base board or a part of the column switches for vehicles at the position which corresponds to and aligns with said screw holes. The column switches for vehicles can firmly be fixed on the base board by screwing a plurality of threaded rods into the screw holes while passing the rods through the through holes.

Structure for mounting column switches for vehicles

A composite switch device mounted to the steering shaft of an automobile and integrally provided with several switches such as a turn indication switch, a lighting switch, and a wiper and washer switch, wherein one end of each contact plate in each of the switches is folded to form a rectangular portion used as a terminal to be directly connected to a coupler connected to an electric power source, without using complex lead wires and crimpers.
