Heat cooking apparatus having a flat flexible heater

A cooking apparatus comprising a rotary table disposed inside a heating chamber so as to mount food to be heated, and a motor which rotates the rotary table. The rotary table and the motor are integrally supported in a floating state by a resilient member, thereby allowing the food and the rotary table to vibrate or move vertically. This vertical vibration or movement is measured by employing a detector, and the weight of the food is measured from the output of the detector. The rotary table is provided with a biasing means interlocked with a door for regulating the height of the rotary table or stabilizing the same when the door is opened. In the case where the vibration of the rotary table is particularly detected, the rotary table is forced to vibrate by the action of the biasing means thereby allowing highly accurate measurement of the weight of the food. The output of the heating source, the heating mode and the heating time are controlled in correspondence with the measured weight of the food, and it is therefore possible to improve the cooking apparatus such that it is conveniently used and to realize a finely controlled heating operation.

A cooking apparatus includes a rotary table which is disposed inside a heating chamber such as to mount a food to be heated, and a motor which rotates the rotary table. The rotary table and the motor are integrally supported in a floating state by a resilient member, thereby allowing the food and the rotary table to vibrate or move vertically. This vertical vibration or movement is measured by employing a detector, and the weight of the food is measured from the output of the detector. The rotary table is provided with a biasing means interlocked with a door for regulating the height of the rotary table or stabilizing the same when the door is opened. In the case where the vibration of the rotary table is particularly detected, the rotary table is forced to vibrate by the action of the biasing means thereby allowing highly accurate measurement of the weight of the food. The output of the heating source, the heating mode and the heating time are controlled in correspondence with the measured weight of the food, and it is therefore possible to improve the cooking apparatus such that it is conveniently used and to realize a finely controlled heating operation.

A microwave oven in which the oven chamber is defined by upper and lower portions each generally triangular in section and which is provided with efficient microwave reflecting and distributing arrangements. The lower portion is defined by a main casing and the upper portion, which includes the oven chamber front and top walls, is defined by a concave portion in a door assembly which is hinged along a rear edge portion and may be pivoted upwards to open positions and downwards to a closed position. When in a completely opened position the door assembly exposes the top and front of the oven, whereby insertion or removal of food may be effected through the top or front of the oven, and the oven permits convenient use when placed at different levels.

There is disclosed a microwave oven comprising a casing structure which defines a substantially triangular sectioned cavity and a hingedly supported door formed with a substantially triangular sectioned cavity. The cavity of the casing structure cooperates with the cavity of the hingedly supported door to define a complete heating chamber of substantially cubic body. The door is hinged at the top edge to the front edge of the top wall member of the casing structure.

A microwave oven comprising a cubical casing with front edges of its side walls cut diagonally at an angle and with its top wall made much shorter than the lower wall for hingedly supporting a door slantwise at the front edge of the top wall. The door is provided with a see-through observation window of triangular cross section projecting outwardly from its surface, so that the inner surface of the window forms part of the heating room together with the casing upon closure of the door, while an object being heated in the oven is readily observed through the window from various angles during cooking without requiring any separate illuminating source.
